“I am so happy with the care everyone received!! Excellent communication, she sent pictures and gave multiple daily updates throughout her stay. I just love Alyssa and the dogs, cats, and horses do too!!”

“I heard from John daily with photos and videos of my dog. I had piece of mind during my vacation, knowing that my house and dog were being taken care of. Thanks, John!”

“Taylor was amazing! I reached out to Taylor last minute for a few nights of house sitting with our zoo. Our dogs all have different personalities but she made sure to cater to them all. I am so glad I found her as she was extremely accommodating and made sure to keep me updated throughout my trip away from home.”

“Charley took excellent care of our boys! When we came home, I think they were disappointed to see us instead of her! She treated our home with the utmost respect and we couldn’t ask for anything more! We’ve already booked our next request with her and will absolutely continue using her when our boys need a buddy to hang out with.”

“My partner and I went away for the weekend, and Tyler housesat and watched our two very hyper boxers. He was the best with them, played with them, and cared for them as if they were his own. He was very communicative throughout the weekend and sent us photos of the pups every day. We will definitely be contacting him next time we need someone to watch them!”

About: Growing up we had a family dog and Guinea pigs. As a young adult I was responsible for Jack Russell Terrier. Now I’m responsible for a three year old Terrier mix. I am an animal person. Neighbors, family, and friends rely on my to care for their dogs weekly. I have cared for dogs, guinea pigs, horses, cats( indoor and indoor/outdoor), fish, and a parrot before. I am always happy to learn to care for other animals. I work from home so I have plenty of time to take care of your fur family members. I do have weekly fur clients that I will need to take care of if I’m house sitting. I try to stick to your routine as much as possible when caring for your fur family members. I will spoil your pets with attention.
“Ayla was quite literally the best- at the meet n greet, my dog immediately warmed up to her which I knew was a good sign and felt comfortable leaving him with her. She sent daily pictures and updates and took wonderful care of my boy! I came back to a very happy and healthy pup, as well as to my house being I think even cleaner than I left it haha. I will definitely be using her again anytime I go out of town! Thank you again!!!”

“Skipper did an excellent job. I am so thankful he came and took such good care of my cats. The automatic feeder has a gel pack to keep out moisture broke and dispersed into the food. It was the perfect example of why even with an automatic feeder it is important to have someone check on the animals. Skipper provided excellent communication and updates.”

About: I've cared for a wide range of animals in my life; but mostly cats and dogs. I've grown up taking care of cats and dogs and I find it very easy and fun to work with them. I've raised kittens and puppies, as well as elderly animals. I have no issues with feeding, walking, or cleaning up after any animal. During the end of 2024 and the beginning of 2025, I have some time off from college and want to spend that extra time interacting with pets! I can work every day of the week and the weekend and can also do overnight care. I have a very reactive dog at my house that can be hard to control, but I'm able to get him on walks without escaping my grip. I'm stronger than I look! But I also treat animals with the utmost respect and kindness. I don't believe in negative reinforcement and I will treat your pet like royalty!
“Amanda was great!!! She took great care of Nova and sent me plenty of pics and updates about my baby. She also left the cutest report card about her time with Nova and how everything went. Super dependable and kind!!”

“I’m so glad to have found Erin! She was great staying with our dog and cat for a week! I was apprehensive about someone we didn’t know staying in our home, but my concerns ebbed away after meeting her. She came to the house two times (my request) to meet and get to know our Oliver and Swiss before we left. She was flexible when we had a plan change. She sent pictures of our pets ever day, and it warmed our hearts to see them! I know they were in good hands. She is kind, good communicator, responsible, and you can tell she loves animals. She was patient with our not-so-sure kitty who of course loved her. Oliver and Swiss both loved her! We definitely would ask her to stay again or do a drop in for them if need be!”

“Whitney was an absolutely incredible dog sitter. My two boys just loved her and she followed all the routine routines perfectly. She went above and beyond tidying and cleaning up before she left as well. Would definitely book again.”

“She’s truly the best! Took the best care of my babies and sent me updates everyday on how they were doing as well as pictures! She’s such an animal lover and caring person all around. I will recommend her to everyone!”

“Without a doubt, the best dog/house sitter we’ve ever had and found her on three days notice!!!! Our two (high energy, somewhat timid, not perfectly trained but absolutely loveable) Aussies adored Jackie! We received regular updates by text and above and beyond offers to help around the house while we were away - including taking both large dogs to the groomers!! Came home to an impeccably clean house AND laundered sheets! 10 out of 10 would recommend!!!”

Shotwell pet parents share their Rover experiences
Myeisha was absolutely wonderful. Communicative, timely, and stayed overnight at my house for 4 nights while we were on vacation. I’m truly grateful as she took great care of my dog and my cat and my home too, vacuuming, taking out the trash, and putting the bedding in the wash before she left. Truly wonderful!

Aja is incredible!! She took such great care of my Belgian Malinois, Atlas, and made me feel so at ease while I was out-of-town. She was wonderful keeping track of some last minute diet changes for Atlas and kept me in the loop with detailed written updates and photos. We can’t wait to have her watch Atlas and our house again soon!
