“My little dog needs extra loving care, being old and with back problems, and tends to not do well in new places. With Aimee he was well taken care of, and was happy and relaxed. She's a wonderful caregiver.”

“We were visiting from out of town and needed some place for our active 1 yo pup to spend some time. Hannah was wonderful - she has a great set up for active dogs - I wish I could find someone where we live like her!!!”

About: I've been surrounded by animals my entire life, from cats and dogs to fish, horses, rabbits, and chickens! About six years ago, my family's Shih Tzu, Coco, unexpectedly passed away at the age of 16, despite being in good health. I've also cared for other senior dogs, providing attentive care including administering medications and changing diapers. I don’t have a lot of puppy experience, but my parents adopted a dog named Dexter four years ago, and I helped with potty training and taught him a few tricks! I work full-time from home, but there are days when I have to go into the office. On those days, my husband, Josh, stays home with our cat, Mochi, so your pet will never be left alone! Whether in my home or yours, I provide attentive and loving pet care. I stick to your pet’s daily routine, ensuring they’re well-fed, exercised, and comfortable. I also keep their environment clean and secure, and I stay in touch with regular updates to keep you informed and reassured.
“Jackie was amazing looking after my dog! She and her family treated my dog like he was part of the family! Jackie was very easy to work with, very professional, and it’s easy to tell she has a passion for animals! I will definitely be using her services again!”

“She is probably one of the best Rovers we've used in the last year or so. Are Annie was well taken care of and he took to her just really quick and I got photos everyday and Annie had some other dogs to play with and I can go on and on but she is amazing I hate to pick her up because she's going to probably miss her LOL”

About: My Fiancé and I both work from home and love pets! We’ve been debating adding another animal to our family and thought this may be a great way to do that without making a large commitment. We currently own a cat, Chachi, who is very aloof when it comes to meeting other animals. We’re hoping the exposure to different pets helps him feel more comfortable and gets him to a place where he feels confident! We are open to watching all ages and sizes of dogs and cats as long as they are good around a cat. We are home 7 days a week! Leaving our schedule wide open to care for your pets, take them on walks, and let them outside. We do not have a fenced yard for dogs, but we do have a large house with enough room to sprawl out in and a backyard. We also have a trail that runs through the neighborhood that we love to take walks on.
“Ahmal and Martica are the loviest couple, very nice people to meet. Having said that, they have turned out to be some of the wisest and most outstanding Rovers Courtney and I have ever met. Ahmal is completely understanding of how to care for our Sonny- we haven’t previously experienced this level of communication and comfort with a Rover, and we’ve used Rover for several years. The dogs in their care get plenty of play, attention, and flat out love- the perfect balance of each! When Sonny is in their care, he comes back not too anxious, or too tired, but just happy; content. Ahmal and Martica may be the best Rovers around, period. Plenty of backyard, photos, and quick response. Thank you guys!!”

About: Animal Lovers for Life. 🐾 Growing up with pets and helping out on my parents farm gave me a love for animals of all kinds. From dogs, cats and bunnies. As a proud dachshund parent, my daughter and I will enjoy being your pet’s new BFF — whether it’s walks, fetch, snuggles, playtime with toys, or super yummy treats — hello pupachinno, of course, parents permission only! I have experience with senior pets and happy to administer medication when needed, ensuring every furry friend feels safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I know all of our animal friends have a personality of their own — that’s why I will always ensure compassionate and reliable care tailored to your pet. I’m currently working from home / or on a hybrid schedule that allows me to go in for just a few hours a day, or at a time — because of this I’m pretty flexible and open with the care I can provide. Your pets’ safety and comfort are my top priorities. In my home, I provide a calm, clean, and supervised environment where pets can relax, play, and feel at ease. I do not have a fenced yard, but make up for it with a yard for supervised play and a huge neighborhood perfect for walks (already go on them daily). I also have access to a nearby neighborhood dog park for socialization and exercise — furry parents permission, always. Whether at my home or yours, I ensure your furry friend is safe, happy, and well cared for at all times. Need to bring your crate? No biggie!
About: My name is Chelsea, and I'd love to care for your furry family members! I'm an active, trustworthy sitter who has always loved animals! I grew up with pets (dogs & cats) and have experience volunteering with the Humane Society; where I have adopted and fostered multiple dogs. I enjoy helping others and love being around animals. I offer a modest, yet spacious apartment with lots of outdoor space within a gated community; equipped with a dog park and walking distance to multiple parks and trails. I enjoy going for long walks/hikes and enjoy all breeds. I have a 5-year old lab mix, who is very sweet and LOVES playing with others. I work remotely fulltime, so am available all-day for walks, snuggles, and playtime. You can expect that your pet will be actively cared for and loved like they are my own. :) I have an apartment with one other dog, Pudge, who loves playing with other animals. My apartment is in close proximity to multiple parks, trails, and beaches. I'm happy to administer any medications as needed and can offer training!
“Mitzi was absolutely wonderful with our little Ellie! Our girl is a puppy mill rescue and an anxious girlie, and she did so great and felt so comfortable with Mitzi, her family, and their dogs. Mitzi sent lots of updates with pictures and videos, which is perfect for the first time. We highly recommend her!!”

About: I’m a parent of a ragdoll. Equip of taking medicine, nail clipping, paw trimming and cat washing. I also have a pet dryer set up for her.0 I’m currently working from home full time so I’m very flexible with schedules. I’m very easy going so just communicate and there’s nothing we can’t figure out. I have all wooded floor in the first floor solely for stay over dogs to keep them comfort and stay away from cats if needed, same situation for cats if needed.
About: I have over 900 5 Star reviews on the Wag! app for dog walking, boarding and overnight sitting. Joined a local company that I currently work for and have several private clients that prefer to work with me directly. I have pet care insurance independently from the platforms I've used. I leave every home I visit better than I found it. Checking mail, taking out trash, all manner of special touches. I am handy and have changed light bulbs and air conditioning filters at overnights where i felt the client needed help with those things. Dogs naturally love me. I've had clients joke about their dog liking me more than them. I go above and beyond to make sure your pet is safe and happy while in my care. I can leash train or correct "bad" behavior with positivity and patience. I am working on CPR certification and constantly expand my knowledge of breeds and training techniques. I care for pets full-time. Ready to do walks, dropins and overnight sittings. I am pretty full as far as midday walks go, but can adjust in certain cases I currently don't do day care at my home. I do have my own dog that often accompanies me for my visits and pet sitting.

“Bicky was awesome with my puppy Franklin! He was in great hands and she updated me throughout the day. I would recommend and likely will keep booking with her when I need to use Rover.”

About: Grew up with parents who were groomers and breeders. I went to school to major as a veterinarian due to my love animals, and even though life, I find myself forever engulfed by the love of these furry creatures. Dogs to wolves, house cats to bobcats, ferret buddies, birds, hamsters and more. There’s care for them all. I manage well🙂. I have plenty of days where I find myself very free and available. A little companionship never heard us. Sometimes I need to take a walk and there’s a room for company. I’m a little sit down with friends never hurt. As the fur parent sees fit. They would be fed, potty breaks/outside time 2-4 times a day, and given a social atmosphere of people and or play friends. Unless otherwise directed. Light grooming and bathing can also be discussed.
Shotwell dog parents share their Rover experiences
Dakota has only been with Bonnie for one week and she is so happy (and super tired when she gets home). I appreciate Bonnie’s status messages and videos, throughout the day - especially, the first one to put a “dog mom’s” nerves to rest. Appreciate Bonnie and her care, so very much! ❤️
