About: I've had a cat in my life since I was a teenager and I found a stray cat on our property in Indiana. Cats are cool and fun creatures with unique needs. Cats need someone who will give them distance when they need it and attention when they need that.

“Erin was great! Was in constant communication with us while we were gone and made our vacation so much easier because we knew our pet was well taken care of. Would definitely recommend!”

“Ashley was very professional prior to her visits with Percy. She asked questions that showed she cared about the comfort of my pet. During her visits she made sure to send me photos and Percy seemed to love having her stay with him for awhile. I have enjoyed knowing that he was well loved and taken care for while I was away.”

“Maggie is fantastic! I’ve used her multiple times for my kitty, and this time around I have a new kitty who is extremely anxious, and she was absolutely amazing with him. She is reliable, communicative, and goes above and beyond. Highly recommend her!”

About: As a work-from-home professional, I can keep your fur baby company all day long, and check in multiple times a day. Does your energetic herding dog need twice-daily walks or visits to the dog park? No problem -- they're just like the Australian Shepherd I grew up with and the Rough Collie I petsit regularly. I am also an ardent cat lover with experience caring for my aging childhood cat (age 20+), as well as a skittish rescue with seasonal allergies. If you have a senior cat who needs extra care or shy kitten who needs daily medication, I'm the petsitter for you. I have an extremely flexible schedule and can accomodate boarding every day of the week. I'm also available for daycare across Raleigh, although I may have more limited availability on Wednesday and Thursday nights, as well as Sunday afternoons and evenings. Feel free to ask about my schedule! I live in a townhouse with a small, fenced-in patio and my one cat. She is typically kept in a separate part of the house during boarding, so I can accommodate animals who are reactive to cats. The yard is great for smaller dogs who enjoy being outside, but I can also care for larger animals who need lots of exercise!
“Erica was very nice and immediately felt comfortable knowing she was going to take good care of Sheba while I was gone. I enjoyed the detailed descriptions of her visits and of course all of the pictures. I will definitely use Erica again in the future.”

“Thank you for taking care of my kitty! Spending extra time with Egor was important to him. Plus, arriving on time was very helpful with keeping him on his regular feeding schedule. Having Luka’s drop-in visits was a much better experience than what Egor had with Petsmart’s Pet Hotel.”

“Tara is a terrific animal person, and it shows throughout any experience working with her. She even came before our booking to do a meet n' greet and learn about our kitties. We received ample photos and an incredibly thorough report. She's the best!!”

“Jacqueline and Michael were great at giving us detailed visit updates, and informing us of any concerns. They went above and beyond. Would use them again.”

“Caroline took great care of our kitty! She was very communicative, sent lots of pictures, and was able to get our grumpy guy to warm up to her. I would definitely book her again.”

“I have nothing but great things to say about my experience with Sadie! This was my first time boarding my two *very spoiled* kittens, and she made me feel so comfortable from the start! She was so patient with all my questions and genuinely made an effort to make my kittens feel at home. I was totally at ease during my trip knowing they were in great hands with Sadie and her fiancé Lance, and got lots of updates and pictures to let me know they were doing ok. Would absolutely use Sadie again!!”

“Kim is so amazing. I rated her 5 stars. She has great communication and service. She first watched my cat for a few days last august and then again this weekend. My cat is often timid around new people but she warmed up to Kim very quickly! Plus the rover cards that Kim sends are always so good and reassuring. This isn’t directly related to cat sitting, but last fall there was a mass shooting in my neighborhood and she reached out to ask if we were okay (thankfully we were) and that was very thoughtful and appreciated. She also sent us a super cute Christmas card with a picture of our kitty and it was so sweet. Kim is the best and I can’t recommend her enough! Shes good with the details and the cat love and I can’t ask for anything more. Will definitely be booking again in the future.”

About: I LOVE animals, in fact, I have 5 of my own ( 4 dogs (Casey, Mako, Leo, and Grace) and 1 cat (Cauge)). I trained Mako to be a PTSD service dog. I have had animals my ENTIRE life and am an active wife and mama. I love all animals but large dogs have a special place in my heart. So if you have a Big Baby, please give me a call!! Of course of you have a little baby I would be overjoyed to love on them as well!! I can’t wait to help you care for your babies while you are out at work so they stay healthy and engaged. Drop ins...I can feed, de-water (aka potty breaks) and play, if you are working on training I would love to work along with you on those skills as well. Please note that drop ins can be any type of animal not just cats or dogs (i.e. hamsters, bunnies, gerbils, lizards, ferrets, etc) Walks...Outside engagement, I like to teach good leash manners (no pulling, walking with me) and safety (sitting prior to crossing the street). Of course if we are feeling up for it and its not too HOT, a nice jog may just be on the horizon 😀 Dog Boarding… not offering in my home at this time, but happy to do drop ins while you are away. It there are other needs, please feel free to let me know and we can work something out! I have taken some time away from work and taking some focused time to care for my mother. Once I drop my son off at school in the morning and some scheduled Dr Appts for my mother, I have time to share with others and what better way than caring for their BABIES while they are away at work. Every family's needs are different. I fully respect my client's privacy while I am there to care for YOUR baby(ies). One thing that I am very conscience about is the WARMER weather coming. I always seek out shady areas for walks and if that is not available, I make sure we walk in the grass. Dog paws are very easily burned, and I make sure to care for them.
“Madison was incredible to work with for my two dogs. One is a rescue, and the other is very VERY needy on attention - so there is often anxiety for me when leaving and hoping they get the love and attention while I'm away. Madison was communicative, timely, engaged, and loving to my two boys. The pictures were amazing, they clearly had the best time (although I fear Madisons arm almost fell off with all the fetching that was done). Each visit was the full visit time, and every summary was written as if she was talking about her own pets. That kind of comfort is priceless. Worth every penny with her!”

“Sloane is the BEST!! Her updates are detailed with lots of photos, and as an anxious dog mom, I really appreciate that! Cooper has such a great time with her and always comes home tired from all the fun. 10/10, cannot recommend more!”

“Thank you Destiney for providing wonderful doggy daycare services for my dog today. I appreciate the ease for drop off and pick up, the update with picture, and Rover card at the end. With a kind and professional nature, I knew Sparky was in good hands while I attended an appointment. Thanks again!”

“My dog Reese is so happy to spend the day with Arden! By our second and third visits, Reese had learned what it means when I say “you’re going to see your friend Arden today,” and she happy whines in the car when we get close to her house! Very grateful to have her as a backup parent for when I need a break.”

About: I have extensive experience working with animals, including working closely with veterinarians, fostering adoptable dogs, providing pet care for family and friends, and having many different kinds of furry family members over the years. Let my experience give you peace of mind while you’re away—your fur babies are in good hands. When you book me for pet sitting, your furry family member is absolutely the priority. Do they like to be active? Then that’s what we’re doing. Are they lazy? I can snuggle with the best of them. Do they need to go out often? Got it. Two walks a day? Done. Whatever it is, you can count on me to provide the best care for your best bud. My pet sitting (and boarding) spots have gone quickly so far, so if my availability matches your needs, send me a message and we can set up an initial meeting so you and your loved ones can meet me and we can all make sure I’m the right fit. While caring for your pets in your home, I can also water your plants, bring any packages inside, put trash bins at the curb if it’s trash day, etc. Just let me know what you need and I’ll let you know if I can help with it. I apply the same level of care to boarding. My fees are a little lower since I don’t have to travel to your pet, but in my home, your pet’s still my #1 priority. I provide the same attention I’d give them in your home if not more, because I know my environment isn’t the one they’re used to. Whether your furry fam needs a fun walk, a cozy place to stay, or loving care while you're away, I'll treat them with the same patience, kindness, and attention I'd give my own. Regardless if your pup is energetic and playful, shy and cautious, or a senior who enjoys a slower pace, I'll make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved. You can count on me for reliable communication, photo updates, and plenty of cuddles, playtime, and exercise. My goal is to give you peace of mind while making sure your pet has a great experience. I'd love the opportunity to meet you and your pet and become someone you can trust whenever you need dependable, compassionate care. I have a flexible schedule and can accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening visits throughout the week. I do my best to work around your pet's routine to help them feel comfortable and keep their day as normal as possible. Whether you need regular care or last-minute help, I'll communicate promptly and do everything I can to meet your needs. When visiting your home, I leave no trace other than a happy pet. At my house, I have a fenced in yard, pool, dog door I can open or close if your pet isn’t good with those, treats, toys, and comfy spots to rest. The dog I had for 15 years (who recently passed) would absolutely vouch for these little sunny spots that show up in different parts of my house across the day. Regardless of location, I will stick to your pet’s schedule and make sure their needs are met.

About: I used to foster, so I’ve worked with all kinds of dogs: big, small, anxious, loud, and pups with severe health issues. I know every dog is different, and I genuinely love getting to learn their little quirks, routines, and personalities. I work from home. Working from home allows me to keep a flexible schedule and make time for lots of potty breaks. On weekends, if your dog likes it, I’d be able to take them to a dog park for some extra exercise. I take in one dog at a time, so your pup will have my full attention! I have one dog of my own, a 5-pound chihuahua. I live in a three-story townhome, so your dog must be able to climb stairs OR be comfortable with me picking them up and setting them down.
“Paige was extremely caring and kind to our doggo Buttercup. She took extra care to make sure she felt safe in her home and get her walks, treats, and even cuddle time. Paige regularly updated us on the status of Buttercup and took the cutest pictures, too! Highly recommend Paige for your dog-sitting needs!!”

“Kristopher took care of Haru for us as daycare for 1 day and I could tell that she felt relaxed and at ease in their home. She is pretty shy but I could tell she felt welcomed there. I also appreciated how professional he is. Thanks again Kristopher for faking care of my baby ☺️”

“Caroline has been great with both of our dogs. She is communicative, friendly and always puts our minds at ease caring for our doggoes while we’re away. She even went the extra mile to change our beeping smoke detector because she could tell it was scaring our dog. Thanks Caroline!”

“Erin was absolutely AMAZING. I'm a new dog mommy and just adopted a resuce dog and was so afraid about her being home alone and feeling unloved. Erin came by and brought her own dog to help my Roxi adjust and have a play mate until I can get her in day care. She sent pictures and updates, gave treats, and food/ water. Roxi was absolutely delighted to have that play time while I was at work. Erin brought in my mail, was thorough, pleasant and trustworthy. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend her to anyone. As long as you don't take my time spot lol.”

About: I recently graduated from NC State University with a degree in design and a minor in zoology! Now that I’m in post-grad life, I’m working remotely and looking to spend time doing what I love most: hanging out with animals. While I’ve shared most of my life living with cats but dog sitting has actually been my main thing! Long before downloading the Rover app, I was primarily dog sitting for people in person—starting back in 2020 when I pulled double duty babysitting both toddlers and their fur babies. Needless to say, dogs know I'm a trusted friend! From energetic medium and large breeds to the sweetest small pups, I love them all—that absolutely includes our precious senior dogs! I have a huge heart for older pups who just want company to hang out with. Because of my background with cats, I am an absolute pro at routine. I run a tight, loving schedule—timely meals, plenty of playtime and walks, and endless cuddles tailored to exactly what your dog likes. Your pup will be in the safest, most attentive hands. I’ll keep you completely in the loop with consistent updates. Plus, as a design grad, don't be surprised if a a simple portrait of your pet lands in your inbox as a bonus :) Since I work remotely from my laptop, my schedule is flexible, allowing me to easily prioritize your babies whenever they need attention. I will be at your home for the majority of the time, only popping out occasionally to grab food or run quick errands. I absolutely adore my own cats and treat them like royalty, so you can rest assured your fur babies will receive that exact same level of love and quality care! To ensure they have the best experience possible! I always make it a point to learn about their specific routines, favorite toys, safe zones, and any necessary medications ahead of time :)

Please let me know if your pet has any specific needs or preferences. I'm easygoing, adaptable, and committed to providing the best care possible. I will respect your home, your rules, and most importantly, your dog. 😊 I look forward to meeting you and your pup! 🐾 I work remotely and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to provide attentive care throughout the day. I provide a safe and comfortable environment that is tailored to each dog's personality and energy level.

“I was fortunate enough to live walking distance from Shana and my new 5 month old rescue pup and I walked down to say hi. She is a genuinely nice person and truly enjoys loving and caring for dogs. I feel ccomfortable having her in my home and to care for my dog mid day when I can’t get home to take him out. Rover is a pretty amazing system as well!! Thanks Shana!!”

“I cannot thank Cristhian and Katty enough for the incredible care they gave to Fifi while I was away for 22 days. From the moment I dropped her off, I knew she was in the best hands. Cristhian treated Fifi as if she were his own pet, giving her all the love, attention, and comfort she needed. They took care of everything, her medication, her food, her walks, with so much dedication and kindness. It truly felt like Fifi had another home. She had such a great time with Cristhian, Katty, and sweet Pacho. I could see how happy and relaxed she was, and that gave me so much peace of mind during my time away. I’m beyond grateful for the care they provided. If you want someone who will love your pet like family, look no further. Thank you, Cristhian and Katty, for being Fifi’s second family.”

“Bailey was just amazing. This was the first time my 11 year old chihuahua has been away from home without me, but the moment I met Bailey I was immediately at ease. She showed kindness, love, and patience towards my dog from the start. She showed me around her yard, and listened attentively as I explained my dog's habits and routines. She sent a text and photos of how my dog was doing during his stay with her. When I went to pick him up, he showed no signs of stress - he was calm and happy upon my arrival. Thank you, Bailey! I would book with you again in a heartbeat.”
