“Ryanne has helped us with two very long trips by watching my two cats twice a day. She’s always so quick to respond to requests and questions, very communicative and we really appreciate her help keeping our babies safe, happy and healthy!”

About: I grew up on a farm in Indiana. Animals have been a part of my life since I learned to walk. I have cared for animals, traveled with animals, and loved animals throughout my lifetime. I have potty-trained puppies for friends, and I have dog-sat, along with some exotic animal sitting, many times over my years. I have also cared for my aging pets as they transitioned from life. I recently retired from a career in teaching special education students. I have a husband who is willing to allow me to leave a week or so here and there, so I can house and pet-sit at this time if you're going on vacation. My schedule is open right now. I love to walk and hike. If your pet likes to go for walks, that is something that we will do daily, a few times a day, depending on weather. I play with animals, tug of war and fetch, and petting is essential. Pets require lots of love and attention in order to be healthy and happy.

“Erin did a great job of dropping in on my cat for a week - communication was good and she followed the instructions for feeding him. Would definitely book her again!”

“This was my first time leaving my kitty, and karina made it so much better. He has a different feeding schedule than most cats, and is higher energy and he was so happy. I felt as ease knowing he was being taken care of. She was super communicative as well with everything! Highly recommend & will be using her in the future!”

About: As a work-from-home professional, I can keep your fur baby company all day long, and check in multiple times a day. Does your energetic herding dog need twice-daily walks or visits to the dog park? No problem -- they're just like the Australian Shepherd I grew up with and the Rough Collie I petsit regularly. I am also an ardent cat lover with experience caring for my aging childhood cat (age 20+), as well as a skittish rescue with seasonal allergies. If you have a senior cat who needs extra care or shy kitten who needs daily medication, I'm the petsitter for you. I have an extremely flexible schedule and can accomodate boarding every day of the week. I'm also available for daycare across Raleigh, although I may have more limited availability on Wednesday and Thursday nights, as well as Sunday afternoons and evenings. Feel free to ask about my schedule! I live in a townhouse with a small, fenced-in patio and my one cat. She is typically kept in a separate part of the house during boarding, so I can accommodate animals who are reactive to cats. The yard is great for smaller dogs who enjoy being outside, but I can also care for larger animals who need lots of exercise!

“Taylor was very kind and made sure all of our cats were well taken care of. We appreciate her promptness and coming to our house before booking for a meet greet.”
“Maggie was amazing!! She did drop in visits for my kitty and my roommates kitty during the holiday. She always gave great updates and sent us pictures so we could see how they were doing! I would definitely choose her if I ever needed someone to watch them again. Thanks, Maggie!!”

“As much as I love my Luna (and trust me, it's a LOT) I know she isn't the easiest or friendliest cat in the world. Which I shared with Ashley! Despite this, she kept trying to get my girl to play and provided a helpful update every day. I'm really grateful for everything Ashley did so we could have some peace of mind on our trip.”

“Sadie and her fiance are amazing with our puppies, they get so excited to see them! They are very thorough with what happened during the visit and photos and we love using them!”

“Jacqueline and Michael took excellent care of our cats! They even braved a snowstorm to make sure they were fed. It gave us great peace of mind during our trip, knowing our cats were well cared for. We will definitely be using their services again in the future!”

“Fang has been and continues to be a reliable and trusted sitter. I’ve had a handful of last minute needs and Fang has been clutch every time. Trust is golden when it comes to my animals plus giving access to my house when I’m not home! Thank you again Fang!”

“Laura was the best! She kept us updated with plenty of photos and spent quality time with our pets while we were out. This is our second time using her and will be definitely using her in the future!”

“Madison was incredible to work with for my two dogs. One is a rescue, and the other is very VERY needy on attention - so there is often anxiety for me when leaving and hoping they get the love and attention while I'm away. Madison was communicative, timely, engaged, and loving to my two boys. The pictures were amazing, they clearly had the best time (although I fear Madisons arm almost fell off with all the fetching that was done). Each visit was the full visit time, and every summary was written as if she was talking about her own pets. That kind of comfort is priceless. Worth every penny with her!”

About: WALKING & DROP-INS ONLY I strive to give my pet parents the best photos of their babies! Check out my photos to see some of the results! 🫶🏻 I have experience with amputees, post-op, dogs with anxiety, puppies, and senior dogs (my 16 year old tripawd chihuahua passed away recently 💔). I have experience administering medication, feeding hard and soft food (refrigerated, heated up or at room temperature), managing a post-surgery cone, suture observation, providing assistance navigating the home, and easing fears when they arise. I have experience taking care of Dachshunds, English Bulldogs, French Bulldogs, Great Danes, Huskies, Labs, Golden Retrievers, Yorkies, Spaniels, Mixed Breed dogs in a variety of sizes, and cats. I’m available ☔️ or ☀️ maybe even ❄️ but not 🌪️. I predominantly work from home and I’m not away from home often, so pet sitting fits well into my schedule. I’m also flexible and can adjust my schedule to be at home if not originally scheduled to be. I would care for anyone’s pet the same way I would care for my own, with the most love, care, and respect for the animal as possible. If I’m in the client’s home, I would follow the client’s instructions on how to best serve the animal while I’m there.
“Caroline is very prompt and communicative, she saved me last minute and cared for my dog. She is very reliable and i will trust her for future stays with my fur baby.”

“Claire has watched our puppy, Ralph, multiple times now and we can’t say enough great things about her! She is super easy to communicate with, sends us detailed updates during each visit, and takes great care of our pup. Ralph is always so excited to see her during her visits and we will definitely be using her again in the future!”

About: I LOVE animals, in fact, I have 5 of my own ( 4 dogs (Casey, Mako, Leo, and Grace) and 1 cat (Cauge)). I trained Mako to be a PTSD service dog. I have had animals my ENTIRE life and am an active wife and mama. I love all animals but large dogs have a special place in my heart. So if you have a Big Baby, please give me a call!! Of course of you have a little baby I would be overjoyed to love on them as well!! I can’t wait to help you care for your babies while you are out at work so they stay healthy and engaged. Drop ins...I can feed, de-water (aka potty breaks) and play, if you are working on training I would love to work along with you on those skills as well. Please note that drop ins can be any type of animal not just cats or dogs (i.e. hamsters, bunnies, gerbils, lizards, ferrets, etc) Walks...Outside engagement, I like to teach good leash manners (no pulling, walking with me) and safety (sitting prior to crossing the street). Of course if we are feeling up for it and its not too HOT, a nice jog may just be on the horizon 😀 Dog Boarding… not offering in my home at this time, but happy to do drop ins while you are away. It there are other needs, please feel free to let me know and we can work something out! I have taken some time away from work and taking some focused time to care for my mother. Once I drop my son off at school in the morning and some scheduled Dr Appts for my mother, I have time to share with others and what better way than caring for their BABIES while they are away at work. Every family's needs are different. I fully respect my client's privacy while I am there to care for YOUR baby(ies). One thing that I am very conscience about is the WARMER weather coming. I always seek out shady areas for walks and if that is not available, I make sure we walk in the grass. Dog paws are very easily burned, and I make sure to care for them.
“Another wonderful booking with Kim! She is so friendly and has excellent communication. My cat loves her and my husband and I love her too for all the peace of mind she brings us while we are away! It feels so good to know we don’t need to worry about our fur baby. Thanks Kim for checking in on Waffles again. She’s a social kitty and appreciates the company while we’re away. Until next time!”

“Julie is super attentive with my babies always giving my updates and pictures without me even asking. I felt so comfortable with her taking care of them. Highly recommend ☺️”

Mandy was great! She stopped by twice a day to feed & play with our 2 cats. She stayed in communication when needed, left thoughtful & informative notes each visit, and took LOTS of pictures for us to see the fun they were having! We are so appreciative of her sharing so much with us so we didn’t feel like we needed to worry about the cats at all while we were away.

Nhi took care of my baby, Leo, twice a day during 30 minute drop-in visits from July 17–19, and she did a great job! She made sure he had his wet/dry food, cleaned his litter box, gave him supervised balcony time, and spent time playing with him each visit. She followed all of my instructions perfectly and even checked in with me when Leo decided he wanted a little extra food. 😊 The photos she sent after every visit are screensaver worthy! Seeing Leo happy, relaxed, and enjoying himself gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Nhi was reliable, communicative, and cared about making sure Leo was comfortable and well cared for. I would recommend her to anyone looking for dependable drop-in pet care! Thank you for making our first experience pleasantly memorable.

We had such a great experience working with Luka! Luka came for a meet and greet before we left, took notes with our instructions, and followed everything to a T. We loved Luka’s check in pictures and updates. Even my shy kitty came out and felt comfortable around Luka. We’d definitely recommend and hope to work with Luka again! 🥰

Kim is the absolute best! I felt so comfortable knowing she was watching my cat Koda while I was away. She helped me feel less stressed about the time away from him (for the first time) and did everything she could to make sure he was getting proper care/attention, as well as helping out with packages/cleaning up after koda. I will definitely recommend Kim to anyone in need of a cat sitter and will be rebooking with her onwards!

Paul took amazing care of our girls!! He sent very detailed updates with pictures after every check-in and our cats loved him! We will absolutely be reaching out next time we are in need of a sitter. He gave us peace of mind during our vacation so we never worried if our babies were doing okay or not. Definitely recommend!

We are so thankful to have found Amy! We have a rescue pup who is very apprehensive and anxious of new people, and Amy’s calm yet knowledgeable demeanor made our pup warm up quicker than we have experienced before. We trusted Amy to watch all of our pets (2 dogs, 2 cats) and knew they were well cared for, which was such a relief!

Our kitties absolutely loved having Amaya look after them while we were out of town! We did too! They are usually pretty shy around strangers and can take some time to warm up but both kitties came out without any hesitation and enjoyed their playtime and hanging out. Amaya was very patient with my detailed information about the kitties and super respectful to the house. She was super communicative and gave me awesome updates with pics of both kitties. I felt super comfortable that both our fur babies were with someone very trustworthy who cares about animals while we are away. We will definitely be trying to book with Amaya again the next trip we are able to take.

Jacqueline and Michael have always taken such great care of our kids! This time, we had to leave our cat home alone and I was very worried for her. Thankfully, Jacqueline and Michael offer extended visits! They spent extra time with Big Tiny to ensure her needs were met for affection, play, and Dr. Grande! (IYKYK) We were so happy to come home to a happy, healthy, well-adjusted kitty! Thanks so much!!

Maggie was fantastic!! Our dog is anxious around new people, but Maggie was very patient and gentle with her and she warmed right up! Maggie provided great pictures and updates with every visit. We will definitely book her again and could not recommend her more!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Willow Creek. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
