Safety, trust & environment
At home I currently have a 50lb mixed breed dog named Pudge and a Pigeon named Concrete who I care for, train, and exercise daily. I have worked in boarding kennels and on farms before and am comfortable with dogs of any size, temperament, and breed. I am very experienced reading and understanding dog and cat body language and warning signs and will pay attention to your pets feelings and needs when interacting with them!
Information Rachel S. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dog has any medical needs, wounds, or sensitivities. It would also help to be informed of anything your pet may be afraid of or nervous about. If booking a walk please let me know about your dogs favorite route or things that need to be avoided while walking!
A typical day
When hanging out with your dog I am thrilled to take them to any of their favorite parks or places, play fetch until they decide they’re done or even take them on a pup cup run (with your permission of course)! I am also perfectly content snuggling on the couch with your senior dogs or finding fun indoor ways to engage your energetic puppy on a rainy day!

Pet care experience
Hi, my name is Rachel! I recently graduated with a bachelors degree in Pre-Veterinary Medicine with a minor in wildlife rehabilitation. I have spent the past 3 years working in wildlife rehabilitation and raptor training. I have vast experience caring for dogs and cats through my own personal pet care, pet sitting for friends and family, and previous jobs in overnight boarding facilities and shelters. Currently I’m working on a veterinary internship working with museum species such as snakes, turtles, lizards, and fish and am working on applying to vet school in the fall! I live with my dog, Pudge and my Pigeon, Concrete who both take care of me as much as I take care of them. I have grown up surrounded by animals and continue to put them in the forefront of my daily life. I’ll make sure your pets receive the same top notch care as my own! I also have experience administering oral, topical, and injectable medications as well as basic first aid and wound care. Feel free to message me anytime during any visit with any special requests or instructions, I am a prompt communicator and will be sure to take care of anything you need for your pets comfort and health.
