“Ella is fabulous! Our cats love her and she is so sweet to them. Having Ella come and check on them gave me peace of mind being out of town because she is responsible, dependable, and communicates about her visits.”

“Abigail was a wonderful friend to our old (dog) man Oaks while we were traveling. Dependable, communicative, and took great care of our buddy. We would be lucky to have her as a pet sitter again!”

“Yung is a great dog walker. He met with us beforehand to get to know our dog, Maddie. On the day of the walk, it was rainy. Maddie was reluctant to walk on the first attempt. He spent time with her inside, and took her at the tail end and she then was more willing to walk and do everything she needed to do. Yung provided pictures and updates. I would definitely hire him again.”

“Yes yes yes. Trust her. So sweet, informative, communicative, and loving!! She came in cared for our pup 4 times while we were gone for two days. She sent photos and updates and I'll definitely be hiring her again! <3 <3 <3”

“Julia took great care of our two cats. They are very timid rescues, but they were very comfortable around Julia right from the start. They are also older adult cats with a host of issues and Julia handled each situation very well. She communicated with us daily and very much eased our concerns about traveling a great distance for an extended period of time.”

“We could not be happier with Karina and the care she provided for our pups. She was extremely communicative, reliable and kind. She sent us detailed notes and pictures every visit. We highly recommend Karina and will definitely be seeking her in the future!”

About: I have bred a litter of 10 puppies and have cared for them up to 9 weeks old. I have also cared for many cats and dogs of all ages. I will be flexible as the summer is starting. I have a part time job mainly in the evening hours, but will have good flexibility. I can do over night pet sitting, drop ins for walks, feeding and taking pets outside. I will be able to stay at clients homes overnight, provide drop ins for walks, playing, feedings, going outside, or anything your pup might need!

“Olivia was awesome and my cats really loved her! She even got my very nervous cat to come out and eat while she was out. She was on time and did a really great job! I would recommend her to anyone!”

“Lily took care of our “old man” dog, Murphy, while we were out of town. She did an amazing job! She sent pictures and updates each day. He takes a bag of medication and vitamins every day, which she handled like a champ. We didn’t have to worry about a thing! She even brought in packages and mail. We will definitely be using Lily again in the future!”

“Emily is the best! She sent me amazing updates and cared for my dog who can be a bit difficult with her leash reactivity. I will definitely book with Emily again and I wholeheartedly recommend her as a caregiver for your pet. Thank you Emily!”
“Kelly was awesome! I highly recommend her! My two dogs received the care and attention they needed, and my house was very well kept! I trust her completely! Kelly is very friendly, knowledgeable and dependable. You will not be disappointed!”

“Patricia was absolutely amazing. Bentley got sick mid way through her visits and she was there for him. Called her vet. Helped clean up the mess. You can truly tell she cares for him and we are so thankful for her.”

About: I have been a trusted petsitter for around 6 years. I grew up with dogs and cats, and work in a veterinary kennel. I have experience with animals of all sizes, temperaments, and species, including reptiles and other exotic animals! I can administer medications from oral to subcutaneous. I also have experience caring for diabetics! I work part-time in a veterinary boarding facility, and am typically available early mornings (before 6:45am) and late afternoons/evenings. On weekends I am available all day. I am able to do drop-in visits 2-3 times daily, as well as walks. In special circumstances, I am able to rearrange my schedule to fit extra visits. I do not board animals in my home.
“Emily was a great sitter for my cat! She was communicative and flexible when our travel plans changed. My boy was happy and healthy when I got home. I would recommend Emily to anyone!”

“This is the second time Tara has done drop-in visits for our two Shiba Inu’s and it went amazing as always! I have 1 dog who is reactive and scared of new people but she took her time to make him feel comfortable and for that I am so grateful. Communication is great and Tara is very nice as well. 10/10!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

About: I have been caring for my family dog since we got him four years ago and my other dog for 8 years. Over the past two years, I have also house-sat for multiple people, taking care of their pets for several days at a time. In addition, I have cared for many animals in my own home. I currently do not have a job so I am completely free morning tonight anytime I also do not have any other side hustles so anytime works! I would care for someone’s animal in their home as if they were my own. I would make sure they are fed on time, have fresh water, get plenty of exercise, and receive any medications or special care they need. Beyond meeting their basic needs, I would spend quality time with them by playing, cuddling, and keeping them company so they feel safe and loved while their owner is away. I understand that pets are family members, so I would work hard to maintain their routine, provide comfort, and give them the same patience, affection, and attention they are used to every day.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Falls
Lily was a fabulous cat caretaker! Our older one requires a lot, and she came beforehand to ensure she understood how to care for him and to get the layout of the home and requirements. She was communicative and let us know how things went with every visit. We definitely recommend her!

Julia was wonderful to work with. She was warm, friendly, and genuinely caring with Charlie from the moment she met him. During our meet-and-greet, she took the time to learn his routine, asked thoughtful questions, and was attentive to both Charlie’s and Panda’s needs. She also took care of Panda’s litter boxes and was compassionate and understanding while I was going through chemotherapy. Her communication was prompt and professional, and she gave me confidence that my pets would be well cared for. I would happily recommend Julia to anyone looking for a kind, dependable, and caring pet sitter.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Falls. On Rover:

- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
