“My family and I were preparing to head out of town for my birthday when we realized, in the middle of all the planning, that we had forgotten to schedule a sitter for Oakley. Like any dog mom would, I immediately went to Rover and was pleasantly surprised to see several sitters available. I reached out to a few profiles, and Rebecca D. responded right away, which immediately gave me peace of mind. Rebecca was incredibly kind, responsive, and easy to communicate with. We quickly coordinated a plan for dropping Oakley off, and the process was seamless. When we arrived, Rebecca was already outside waiting for us and gave clear instructions on where to park. She even invited us inside, which we politely declined, but I thought it was such a thoughtful gesture. I work as a kennel technician in a veterinary hospital, and I am attending college next year to study veterinary medicine. I look forward to meeting your furry friends! I work part-time in a veterinary boarding facility, and am typically available early mornings (before 6:45am) and late afternoons/evenings. On weekends I am available all day. About: Love to go on long sunset walks with dogs, jk. Have a 4 year old dog, Sophie, of my own and I enjoy playing with her high energy and walking/running with her. She keeps me active and would love to share my experience with other dogs. Would help train them while playing with them if interested as well. Simple commands as sit, down, stay, touch, etc. As for me, I work from home and in the tech industry so it gives me the flexibility to step out and run errands and/or walk Sophie. About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats my whole life. I love pets and I get to meet new ones every day. You can trust me to handle any situation calmly and maturely. I am also a part of the Army ROTC program at Virginia Tech I have a super flexible schedule and I am free any day of the week. I do not mid early mornings or late nights at all. I take care of my dogs by walking them regularly. I have a open area around my house that is unfenced where I can walk around with my dogs off leash and trust them to not run off
About: I’ve helped take care of my family dogs for many years. We’ve had dogs my whole life, and currently I’m helping care for our six month old puppy. So, I’ve had experience walking dogs, playing, feeding, taking out for potty breaks, naps, and many more. I’m currently on summer break, so I have plenty of free time to care for your pets! I’m happy to come anytime after 8:00am, and before 10:00 pm. I prefer not to work too late or overnight because I’m just not comfortable with it or driving when it’s really dark. I can’t care for dogs in my home because we currently have a puppy who is only sometimes ok with other dogs, and I live with my parents who won’t want other dogs around. But I’m happy to come over and care for them at your home. I’m comfortable with taking them out in the yard or walking them. And I can also crate them if need be. I’m comfortable with all dog breeds and sizes, unless they are aggressive.
