About: Caring for cats and dogs is second nature to me. Every animal is unique, and learning each pet's habits and personalities is both interesting and rewarding. I have lived in Raleigh most of my life and I am familiar with the local animal hospitals and shelters. I am close friends with several veterinarians, and I am also certified in CPR as a RECOVER Pet Rescuer. I am available most days with very short notice, and any day with a week's notice. I stain and repair decks during the warmer months, but the schedule is very flexible. I am available morning, noon or night. Animal care is dependent on the pet. I would follow the owner's instructions and rely on my extensive knowledge of cats and dogs to provide the best care possible.

About: Ive taken care of dogs for my friends and family since college and until recently, had an amazing little Maltese named Sawyer for 14 wonderful years. After his passing earlier this year, I have had 3 different housesitting jobs for my friends which has shown me how much I miss having an animal companion, but I am just not ready to get another one. The max number of dogs that I have ever watched was four but depending on temperament, I could be comfortable with more. By working from home, I’m able to care for dogs in my home or travel to your home, depending on your preference. My typical work schedule is 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, and because I work remotely, I have plenty of flexibility throughout the day for walks, potty breaks, playtime, and, of course, lots of cuddles. I’m happiest when I’m curled up with a good book and a fur baby nearby. My experience with pet sitting has primarily been with families whose pets are not crate trained, so I’m very comfortable with pets having access to furniture and sleeping in the bed. The animals in my life have always been treated as part of the family, and I’m comfortable accommodating different routines and personalities. I have experience caring for dogs who are graze eaters as well as dogs who follow a specific feeding schedule. Before he passed, my little guy was taking several medications, so I’m also comfortable administering medications and keeping up with specific timing and routines. I live in a ranch-style townhouse with a yard, although it is not fenced in. Because of this, I would always follow the owner’s instructions regarding outdoor time and would not allow a pet outside unattended.

About: I have been caring of furry family members since 2006. I owned and operated a very successful pet sitting company for 12 years and prior to that was a police officer and detective for 13 years. Since having children I have devoted my spare time to fostering dachshunds and providing quality pet sitting and dog walking services to many pet owners in and around Raleigh and Wake Forest. My family consists of 2 young human kiddos, 2 senior dachshunds - Maggie and Julie and two queen-bee cats named Autumn and Lucy. I’ve been a dachshund mom for 23 years and work closely and foster with Doxie by Proxy Rescue. My last 2 rescues were brought into our family at the ages of 12 and 13. I have experience with almost all breeds and ages of dogs and cats. I’m 49 and very responsible and trustworthy. I will care for your pets as if they are my own.... guaranteed! My schedule is fairly flexible as I stay at home with my 2 kids ages 7 and 9. Depending on the time of year (summer breaks and track outs may change my availability just slightly). Weekends and holiday are always open! I am very aware of a client’s home and what is expected as far as safety and trust. Being a former police officer, I am a trustworthy option. I strive to stick close to a client’s schedule and routine when it comes to the pet’s feedings, walks, potty times, and play. Most of my day is open to care for pets and provide dog walks! I so enjoy staying busy and spending my days with furry friends. I always try to stick closely to your pet’s schedule including walk/potty times and feeding. About: **Available for Thanksgiving!** I used to foster, so I’ve worked with all kinds of dogs: big, small, anxious, loud, and pups with severe health issues. I know every dog is different, and I genuinely love getting to learn their little quirks, routines, and personalities. I work from home. Working from home allows me to keep a flexible schedule and make time for lots of potty breaks. On weekends, if your dog likes it, I’d be able to take them to a dog park for some extra exercise. I take in one dog at a time, so your pup will have my full attention! I have one dog of my own, a 5-pound chihuahua. I live in a three-story townhome, so your dog must be able to climb stairs OR be comfortable with me picking them up and setting them down.

About: My family and I have taken care of dogs since I was seven years old which is before the Civil War. I have taken care of a Golden Retriever, Golden Doodle, English Springer Spaniels, and Heinz 57 dogs - all lived to old age. Currently, volunteer at Saving Grace. I am a licensed psychologist and certifiable dog lover. I am still practicing part-time and my office is in my home. I look forward to balancing dog care with people care. I own a home in a quiet neighborhood with a large fenced in backyard. Squirrels available upon request - actually they are free and plentiful. Also have small "kiddie pools" for hot weather. About: I’ve grown up my whole life with pets in my home (both dogs and cats of all breeds). I currently don’t have any of my own, which allows me to give all my love to your pet when they’re with me. I’m young, active, and very willing to help your pet in any ways! I’m currently between jobs, so I have most of my day to dedicate to caring for your pet. My schedule is flexible and I’m willing to help however I can. I do not have a fenced yard, however I live right by many parks, trails, and green spaces that make it very easy to give your pet all the exercise they need.
