About: Ive taken care of dogs for my friends and family since college and until recently, had an amazing little Maltese named Sawyer for 14 wonderful years. After his passing earlier this year, I have had 3 different housesitting jobs for my friends which has shown me how much I miss having an animal companion, but I am just not ready to get another one. The max number of dogs that I have ever watched was four but depending on temperament, I could be comfortable with more. By working from home, I’m able to care for dogs in my home or travel to your home, depending on your preference. My typical work schedule is 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, and because I work remotely, I have plenty of flexibility throughout the day for walks, potty breaks, playtime, and, of course, lots of cuddles. I’m happiest when I’m curled up with a good book and a fur baby nearby. My experience with pet sitting has primarily been with families whose pets are not crate trained, so I’m very comfortable with pets having access to furniture and sleeping in the bed. The animals in my life have always been treated as part of the family, and I’m comfortable accommodating different routines and personalities. I have experience caring for dogs who are graze eaters as well as dogs who follow a specific feeding schedule. Before he passed, my little guy was taking several medications, so I’m also comfortable administering medications and keeping up with specific timing and routines. I live in a ranch-style townhouse with a yard, although it is not fenced in. Because of this, I would always follow the owner’s instructions regarding outdoor time and would not allow a pet outside unattended.

She texted me several times a day with updates about Duke, sent lots of pics, and didn't hesitate to reach out with any questions -- I felt very connected the entire time I was gone. I also had some changes in my flight schedule and she was very accommodating and flexible with that as well. Everything in the house was just as I left it -- and, even though I was planning on putting the garbage can out when I got home, she had already done that (which was greatly appreciated since I had a very late return flight). And to show you what a real trooper she is, there was apparently a mouse caught in the glue trap in the garage, and she even managed to put that in the garbage can before taking it out -- definitely above and beyond what was expected!”

About: I have experience caring for both children and pets in different situations that require responsibility and attention. I have cared for two babies for the family I lived with while their mother was on vacation and also during a post-operative recovery period. I have also provided pet care for the family I currently work with, including full weeks and weekends. My responsibilities included feeding in the morning, bathroom breaks throughout the day, and ensuring they were well cared for and comfortable, Also the pets of my friends I always try to take them for a moderate walk whenever I'm with them. My weekly routine is structured and consistent, which allows me to provide reliable care. I work Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and after that I am at home and available. I will soon begin online classes, so I will continue to be home and present during the week. On Fridays, I work from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and I am free afterward. During weekends, I usually stay at home, organize my week, clean, and relax by watching movies or playing video games. I also go to the gym in the mornings and I enjoy long walks whenever they are needed, especially for pets that require extra exercise and attention. For pet care, I currently have a baby bearded dragon that spends most of her time safely in her terrarium. For everyone’s safety, I will not take her out when caring for your pets to avoid any accidents. I do not currently have dogs or cats, as I prefer to maintain stability before adopting in the future. If your pets stay at my home, I have a safe area where they can go outside for bathroom breaks, and there are nearby parks for walks and exercise. If I care for your pets in your home, I will always respect your space, belongings, and household rules. I also work as a nanny and am extremely careful and responsible in my work. I have also cared for the family dogs I nanny for, and I truly adore animals and enjoy spending time with them.
