About: Hi everyone, my name is Laura and my husband's name is Al! Our life is pretty animal focused and we see our animals as our family, like our own kids. We like to spend most of our free time with our fur kids; hiking, playing, cuddling, etc. Personally, we are not fond of kenneling our animals when we can't take care of them which is what brought us to Rover! We want to provide the kind of experience and level of care for other animal families just like we do for our own. We treat all our clients like they are one of pack so that they feel right at home and comfortable whether they are staying with us or we are coming to them. We have 4 dogs and 1 cat. Our oldest, Foxy, is a sweet 17 year old cattle dog mix with beautiful brindle color fur. She may be a senior dog but no one told her that because she still has a lot of pep in her step! Our second oldest dog, Zeus, is a 12 year old pitbill mix who still thinks and acts like a puppy. He also thinks he's the size of a toy dog and doesn't quite understand when he cannot fit in my lap. They both have been together for about 12 yrs. Our cat ,Ziggy, is our referee for when our dogs start to play too rough. He meows loudly until they stop and boy does it work. Lucy is our 5 year old beagle with lot of energy that keeps all of us on our toes. She is very vocal when she wants something which be pretty cute. Last but not least, we have our newest addition, Ludo. He is a 1year pit bull who loves to give everyone, dogs especially, he meets tons of kisses. He loves all dogs but the small ones hold a special place in his heart. They all are house broken and know their eat and walk schedules. Our typical day on the weekends is just playing with the dogs and laying around and more playing with the dogs. Our service is great because we have over 16 years of experience with a variety of animals. From taking care of our friends pets and family's pets and also pets we have never met along the way! About: Ive taken care of dogs for my friends and family since college and until recently, had an amazing little Maltese named Sawyer for 14 wonderful years. After his passing earlier this year, I have had 3 different housesitting jobs for my friends which has shown me how much I miss having an animal companion, but I am just not ready to get another one. The max number of dogs that I have ever watched was four but depending on temperament, I could be comfortable with more. By working from home, I’m able to care for dogs in my home or travel to your home, depending on your preference. My typical work schedule is 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, and because I work remotely, I have plenty of flexibility throughout the day for walks, potty breaks, playtime, and, of course, lots of cuddles. I’m happiest when I’m curled up with a good book and a fur baby nearby. My experience with pet sitting has primarily been with families whose pets are not crate trained, so I’m very comfortable with pets having access to furniture and sleeping in the bed. The animals in my life have always been treated as part of the family, and I’m comfortable accommodating different routines and personalities. I have experience caring for dogs who are graze eaters as well as dogs who follow a specific feeding schedule. Before he passed, my little guy was taking several medications, so I’m also comfortable administering medications and keeping up with specific timing and routines. I live in a ranch-style townhouse with a yard, although it is not fenced in. Because of this, I would always follow the owner’s instructions regarding outdoor time and would not allow a pet outside unattended.

Amy was absolutely wonderful! We couldn’t have asked for a better person to stay with our three dogs over the weekend. She was incredibly attentive and kept us updated throughout the weekend, letting us know how each of them was doing. It made it so much easier to relax and enjoy our time away knowing they were happy and being so well cared for. You can tell Amy genuinely loves animals, and our dogs were clearly comfortable with her. We’ll absolutely be asking her to stay with them again and I know they’ll be excited to see her soon!
John was able to help us out with pet sitting needs last minute for a weekend and everything went very smoothly between communication following the directions that I left and we discussed and dogs being very happy upon our return and everything in good order. The photos were very helpful throughout the weekend and the updates.
Kristena was wonderful. She took great care of the dogs and they enjoyed her company. The younger one managed to injure her foot (through absolutely no fault of Kristena's) and she communicated the issue clearly to me and even took her to the vet. It fortunately turned out not to be a serious injury, but her attentiveness to the issue and the care she provided was exemplary. As an added bonus, she left the house looking great!
Zulma is an amazing human. She is incredibly kind and thoughtful. Our pup enjoyed his time with Zulma so much. Zulma shared photos with us every day of our pup and her hanging out. She left our home even cleaner than we left it. When Zulma watches our pup we do not have to worry about anything.
Adaria did a great job with our pets during a 1 week house sitting stint. We had family come to take over from her at the end of the week as we were still traveling and she made the handoff very easy being patient in coordinating with my overly worrisome mother 🤣. She left the home ready for them with happy pets, swept floors and clean counters. Good communication throughout. Highly recommend Adaria and plan to rebook her in the future.
6/5⭐️’s for Taylor!! She was absolutely amazing! We were gone for 12 days and that’s the longest we have ever left them, so I was extremely nervous. We have five pets which all have different needs of care and Taylor did a fantastic job with all of them. I recieved multiple check ins a day and plenty of pictures of all of my babies! She even clipped my Dalmatian’s nails that we forgot to trim in our pre-travel stress. She watered my plant children and even mowed our yard! 🤯 I already have her booked for our next trip in November and for two trips next year 🤭
