I have hands-on pet care experience from raising three Dachshunds and caring for them through different stages of life, from energetic puppies to their senior years. This has given me a strong understanding of how a dog’s needs can change with age and the importance of patience, consistency, and attentive care. I’m comfortable with everyday responsibilities such as feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, maintaining routines, and giving plenty of love and attention. My experience with senior dogs has also taught me to be patient and mindful of dogs who may need a slower pace, extra attention, or additional comfort. I understand how important it is to have someone you can trust with your pet. I will take the time to learn your pet’s personality, preferences, and routine so they can feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away.

I want every pet in my care to feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I take the time to learn each pet’s personality, routine, and individual needs, and I follow the owner’s care instructions as closely as possible. This includes feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and plenty of attention and companionship. I understand that some pets may need extra time to adjust to a new person or environment, so I’m patient and allow them to get comfortable at their own pace. I also keep their environment clean and pay close attention to their behavior and well-being. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m respectful of their home and make sure their pet’s normal routine stays as consistent as possible. My goal is to provide dependable, attentive care while giving pet parents peace of mind while they’re away.

Amy was absolutely wonderful! We couldn’t have asked for a better person to stay with our three dogs over the weekend. She was incredibly attentive and kept us updated throughout the weekend, letting us know how each of them was doing. It made it so much easier to relax and enjoy our time away knowing they were happy and being so well cared for. You can tell Amy genuinely loves animals, and our dogs were clearly comfortable with her. We’ll absolutely be asking her to stay with them again and I know they’ll be excited to see her soon!

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, and I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide plenty of time, attention, and companionship to the pets in my care. I’m able to accommodate regular walks, potty breaks, feeding schedules, playtime, and lots of one-on-one attention throughout the day. I understand that every pet has their own routine and personality, so I’m happy to follow your preferred schedule and care instructions as closely as possible. Whether your pet enjoys staying active or prefers a slower, more relaxed day, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and at home while they’re with me.
