Ive taken care of dogs for my friends and family since college and until recently, had an amazing little Maltese named Sawyer for 14 wonderful years. After his passing earlier this year, I have had 3 different housesitting jobs for my friends which has shown me how much I miss having an animal companion, but I am just not ready to get another one. The max number of dogs that I have ever watched was four but depending on temperament, I could be comfortable with more.

Our family had three lovable fur babies, two beagles and a Chow. Sarah-Jane carried for our three for a week. She did a fantastic job. We have one medical need dog that requires medicine at specific times as well as monitoring. Sarah-Jane was diligent with the med rotation and providing updates. We really enjoyed our vacation because we felt confident that everything was well at home and they were taken care of properly. We even came home to a tidy home and three happy dogs. We will be using Sarah-Jane again and happy to sing her praises.

I can’t recommend her enough! She has been taking care of our dogs for years, and she is truly one of the very few people I trust completely with them. She genuinely loves dogs, and it shows in the way she cares for them and treats them like they’re her own. She is incredibly dependable, attentive, and loving, and I never have to worry when our dogs are in her care. They absolutely adore her and are always so excited to see her! Whether it’s keeping up with their routine, giving them plenty of attention and love, or just making sure they’re happy and comfortable, she goes above and beyond. Anyone would be lucky to have her care for their pets. I would recommend her without hesitation!
Sarah-Jane is the most compassionate person I know. She is kind and responsible and incredibly dependable. Sarah-Jane will always do the right thing by any pup or person. I've trusted her with my family member and would a thousand times over. You won't find someone better than Sarah-Jane!

Schedule
By working from home, I’m able to care for dogs in my home or travel to your home, depending on your preference. My typical work schedule is 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, and because I work remotely, I have plenty of flexibility throughout the day for walks, potty breaks, playtime, and, of course, lots of cuddles.

I’m happiest when I’m curled up with a good book and a fur baby nearby. My experience with pet sitting has primarily been with families whose pets are not crate trained, so I’m very comfortable with pets having access to furniture and sleeping in the bed. The animals in my life have always been treated as part of the family, and I’m comfortable accommodating different routines and personalities. I have experience caring for dogs who are graze eaters as well as dogs who follow a specific feeding schedule. Before he passed, my little guy was taking several medications, so I’m also comfortable administering medications and keeping up with specific timing and routines. I live in a ranch-style townhouse with a yard, although it is not fenced in. Because of this, I would always follow the owner’s instructions regarding outdoor time and would not allow a pet outside unattended.
