I grew up on a farm in the Midwest and I've always had cats and dogs in my life. Growing up we had many cats around and we had an assortment of dogs ranging in size, shape, and disposition from a toy poodle, lhasa apso, collies, and great danes. I had a much beloved Golden Retriever named Midas for over 13 years who passed away last year and now have a sweet 5 year old rough coat collie named Dexter (I call him Fabio sometimes due to all the flowing hair). I also have a 5 year old cat named Coal. Coal was bottle fed from 8 days old. I have 2 cats outside. Moxie is a 7 year old 3 legged cat and Baxter is 11. All are well behaved and get along with other animals well. I've volunteered at a no kill shelter in the past and I love how each pet has their own personality.
