About: I have been caring for my family dog since we got him four years ago and my other dog for 8 years. Over the past two years, I have also house-sat for multiple people, taking care of their pets for several days at a time. In addition, I have cared for many animals in my own home. I'm currently working part time and a cafe and usually work mornings from around 4am-12pm and will probably not be able to come during breaks. I am used to waking up early and going to bed late. I would care for someone’s animal in their home as if they were my own. I would make sure they are fed on time, have fresh water, get plenty of exercise, and receive any medications or special care they need. Beyond meeting their basic needs, I would spend quality time with them by playing, cuddling, and keeping them company so they feel safe and loved while their owner is away. I understand that pets are family members, so I would work hard to maintain their routine, provide comfort, and give them the same patience, affection, and attention they are used to every day.

“Lily was a wonderful drop in dog walker. She contacted me promptly and arranged to meet my Rondaxe before hand. Lily must be a dog whisperer because just minutes after meeting my prozac pup who is suspicious of all people who are not me, she had him begging for cuddles. She returned all my messages quickly while dog watching. She was concerned he was not pooping and took him to his favorite spot where he could relax and go. I would certainly hire Lily again. She was trustworthy with the key and access to my home (very important, that) and my dog was not a maniac when I came FINALLY came home.”

My passion is to provide that same care to your furry family while you’re away 💗 With working early hours in a bakery on a need be base, my schedule is flexible. About: Decades of working as a Project Manager in an agency while raising 2 boys and several dogs means I know the importance of organization and reliability. I understand the value of keeping to a set schedule and bringing order to chaos. I have knowledge of different dog breeds and their unique needs allowing me to handle a variety of temperaments and energy levels. (Did I mention that all of our dogs have been some kind of Terrier or rescue which equals unknown baggage, crazy, energetic and FUN) After 30+ years, I ditched the agency rigor in search of joy and fulfillment. Now I am available for walks and wags most days. I can offer versatile walking, feeding and play times, including last-minute bookings with evening and weekend availability to accommodate busy doggo moms and dads. I prefer to hang with your babies in their own environment versus bringing them to mine. I always assume it's more comforting for them to be at home with their beds, blankies, toys and stuffies. Crate or couch, whichever works for your family, works for me. You can be assured that I will provide status updates (you can take the girl out of project management ...) and photos of your pets so you can take comfort in knowing that they are being well cared for.

Olivia did an amazing job taking care of our 5 cats! We had a lot for her to do including giving two of them medicine daily, but she completed everything perfectly. She bonded with all of them, even my scaredy-cat, who typically isn’t social. We’ll definitely rebook her in the future!
It’s been a year since our last time needing a sitter for our sweet boy and we were worried our Emily wouldn’t be available. But to my surprise she was able to book us (last minute too) and we were able to travel knowing he was in good hands. It’s hard to find someone as kind, dependable, & as big of an animal lover as her!
Erin went above and beyond with my pets when I was in the hospital. She walked my dog every day, sent pictures of my cat and dog, and she even vacuumed my house and took out my trash. She checked up on me when I got out of the hospital. I would definitely hire her again.
Kim is so wonderful! She is great with both of my dogs (even though one is super anxious). She let me know that poor Smokey was having diarrhea and that he had gone in his kennel during one of their visits. She was so great about cleaning up after him and keeping me updated. Lily was a fabulous cat caretaker! Our older one requires a lot, and she came beforehand to ensure she understood how to care for him and to get the layout of the home and requirements. She was communicative and let us know how things went with every visit. We definitely recommend her!

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet .
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
