“I am extremely happy with Lexi watching my Belgian Malinois. I did not know Lexi prior to booking her for 3 drop in visits/day for 13 days. Considering being in Europe and so far away, I was very nervous leaving Taz for so long in the care of a stranger. I now know Lexi was the right person to take care of Taz and will request her service in the future. Lexi sent photos with every visit. She went above and beyond IMO. She gave Taz his meds, she brushed Taz, she contacted me and sent photos when he got a hot spot. I asked her to use the anti itch/ fungal spray I have and put a cone/collar on him to help prevent further irritation. She even brought my garbage can in and did a special mail check for me. Great communication, well cared for pet, flexible in booking my vacation days, reliable. Overall, highly recommend, will use again. Thank you Lexi for taking such fantastic care of Taz!”

About: I have spent my whole life surrounded by pets. My parents took care of dogs all throughout me growing up :) as well as me and my mom were constantly bringing home more (including a pig once😅) all animals are family to me and I take great pride in providing exceptional care to other peoples furbabies when they need me :) I currently have one dog and three cats who I love so dearly. I am home 90% of the time and do most of my work from home. I am very flexible and can 99% of the time make things work to fit your pets needs!! Happy to be of service to you☺️ I am home 90% of the time and do most of my work from home. I am enrolled in college and when classes are active I have a 1 hour long class on Mondays and Wednesdays. I spend most of my time cuddled up with my pets (and yours if there here ☺️) or im running around with my dog to burn off some of his energy😆 my schedule is very flexible and pet care will always fit into my daily routine. I have a fenced yard and gates throughout my home to separate areas where the dogs should not be or could get hurt. I do regular potty breaks every hour but if this needs to be adjusted due to your pets needs I can do that! I do morning and night feedings for my dog and cats but I can manage feeding your pet on their schedule as well :)
About: Grew up with dogs my whole life. They have always been a very important part of my life and can't imagine not having these amazing animals in my life. I am partially retired and have a lot of time to hang out and play with your fur baby. I have 2 dogs and 4 cats of my own and spend a lot of time playing and hanging out with them. I have a huge fenced yard on over 3 acres and two Cavalier King Charles of my own to keep your fur baby company! Can even crate if needed. Can take care of in my home or yours.

About: They are loyal. They are loving. They are essentially the perfect being. I am all about my dogs, and have two at home, a 14 year old Pom with chronic health issues I’ve had since college, and a 4 year old golden who is great with my boys. I am skilled with medication administration, and love going on strolls with the doggies. My Pom has his own little quirks, and every pet is unique. I will work with you to make sure your dog is happy and comfortable. I am currently not working, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets! (I am an RN who recently had a human baby). I will work with you to ensure that your wishes for your pet are followed and that you both are happy and comfortable with me.

About: I grew up on a farm with all sorts of animals. I have had indoor pets for over 30 years and currently my family and I have two cats. I can even take care of smaller pets like hamsters, guinea pigs and lizards. However, spiders need not apply! 🙂 I currently work until 2: 30 p.m. But I have flexibility to go check on pets, I can also do evening runs and or house sitting as needed! my preference would be to check on your pets in your home, but can provide care in my home. I have cats who have been around dogs a bit

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet .
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
