About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats my whole life, and have specifically done pet sitting for 10 years. I love animals and am currently living in St. Pete, as I am a student at USF. I am studying business entrepreneurship, and hope to open my own doggy daycare one day. I care for other peoples pets as well as I care for my own, and will do whatever I can to make your furry friend the most comfortable in my care. I live in downtown St. Pete, and attend classes throughout the week, but love going on walks throughout my day whenever I can. About: Caring for cats and dogs is second nature to me. Every animal is unique, and learning each pet's habits and personalities is both interesting and rewarding. I have lived in Raleigh most of my life and I am familiar with the local animal hospitals and shelters. I am close friends with several veterinarians, and I am also certified in CPR as a RECOVER Pet Rescuer. I am available most days with very short notice, and any day with a week's notice. I stain and repair decks during the warmer months, but the schedule is very flexible. I am available morning, noon or night. Animal care is dependent on the pet. I would follow the owner's instructions and rely on my extensive knowledge of cats and dogs to provide the best care possible.

“Best pet sitter ever!! Sylvia has provided daycare for our dog during weekdays over the summer and it has been such a wonderful experience. Our puppy is a high energy breed and requires tons of exercise. When we pick him up at the end of the day he is happy and exhausted! He even pulls towards her door when we drop him off in the mornings because he is so excited. Her dog Fitz Roy is very patient with our puppy and Sylvia sends us daily videos of them playing together which has been great. We couldn’t ask for a better situation to socialize our puppy while knowing he’s in great hands. To showcase Sylvia’s kindness and high level of care for our puppy even more, Sylvia and her husband offered to provide a higher level of care for our puppy after he recently obtained a sports injury playing frisbee with his owners (us). Placing him in somebody’s care is a huge deal to us, just as it would be for our child yet we trust Sylvia and her husband with our puppy. They are going above and beyond to make sure he has constant supervision and gets his meds etc. and that is saying something. Like all pet owners know, it is extremely important to make sure your pet is with the right “fit” and I am driving 3.5 hours round trip daily to take him to her place before and after work because I feel so strongly that Sylvia is trustworthy, responsible, caring and will go above and beyond to make sure our dog is looked after and loved!”
