“Bailey was just amazing. This was the first time my 11 year old chihuahua has been away from home without me, but the moment I met Bailey I was immediately at ease. She showed kindness, love, and patience towards my dog from the start. She showed me around her yard, and listened attentively as I explained my dog's habits and routines. She sent a text and photos of how my dog was doing during his stay with her. When I went to pick him up, he showed no signs of stress - he was calm and happy upon my arrival. Thank you, Bailey! I would book with you again in a heartbeat.”

“My family and I were preparing to head out of town for my birthday when we realized, in the middle of all the planning, that we had forgotten to schedule a sitter for Oakley. Like any dog mom would, I immediately went to Rover and was pleasantly surprised to see several sitters available. I reached out to a few profiles, and Rebecca D. responded right away, which immediately gave me peace of mind. Rebecca was incredibly kind, responsive, and easy to communicate with. We quickly coordinated a plan for dropping Oakley off, and the process was seamless. When we arrived, Rebecca was already outside waiting for us and gave clear instructions on where to park. She even invited us inside, which we politely declined, but I thought it was such a thoughtful gesture. Prior to our arrival, she also shared information about her dog’s temperament, which I really appreciated. Throughout the weekend, Rebecca kept us updated with photos and videos of Oakley, which made us feel so comfortable while we were away. When we picked him up, he was excited to see us, but it was also obvious that he had a wonderful time with her. Oakley came home happy, and we are so thankful for the care Rebecca provided. I would absolutely recommend booking with her!”

“Sonia and Jeff are great dog sitters and very kind and caring people. Our dogs Benson and Chloe were well cared for and even accepted additional days at last notice for an emergency situation. We are grateful for them. They sent photos and wet in close contact with us while away. I highly recommend Sonia and Jeff.”

“Gillian was reliable and sweet with our cats. She was punctual and diligently followed our instructions to take care them. Our senior boy is a little particular about his food.”

“Courtney was a fantastic sitter for my 2 cats. She spent lots of time with them playing with them, showing them affection and giving them time to warm up to her. She also brought in mail while we were gone and gave updates that made me feel better about leaving them. It was nice to see them enjoying her attention and treats. I'll definitely request her services again!”

“We are so happy that we found Marissa to check in on our sweet cat Spooky while we were away. I’m usually very nervous, and we were going to be very far away for over a week, but after meeting Marissa, we were both very comfortable and confident that Spooky would be in good hands. We looked forward to the photos Marissa sent us each day of Spooky playing, and we returned to a happy and healthy kitty. Thank you for your efficient communication and for taking wonderful care of our baby!”

About: I’ve owned cats my whole life and have done everything from bottle feeding kittens, helping administer vaccines, as well as scooping litter every single day. For many years me and my family fostered cats through Purr Partners and we took care of kittens as well as many spicy kitties. Additionally, throughout highschool I volunteered at SafeHaven for cats and visited their facility every weekend to help clean up cages, scoop litter, as well as play with any cats that needed socializing. Currently we own 10, some of which we adopted while fostering and a few of which we rescued ourselves. Overall, my cats bring me joy and I’d love to take care of other cats as well!
“Paulina always does such a great job caring for our Clover while we’re away - can’t say enough positive things about her attention to detail and strong communication!!”

“Rachel was so kind and easy to work with! She took wonderful care of our dog. She was easy to communicate with and we felt confident that our pup was getting the best care. We are so glad that we found Rachel on Rover!”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life; I grew up surrounded by them and have been caring for them since I was young. For years, I’ve looked after dogs and cats for friends and family, gaining experience with many different breeds and personalities. Because my mother was a Veterinary Technician for 15 years, I grew up learning the essentials of animal wellness and safety directly from a professional. I am dedicated to bringing that same level of care and expertise to your pets!

About: Hi! I’ve had dogs my entire life and have years of hands-on experience caring for them. My mom previously co-founded a dog rescue in New Hampshire, and I grew up helping with foster dogs of all ages, breeds, and temperaments. Through that experience, I learned how to work with shy and nervous dogs, high energy breeds, and everything in between. I’m very comfortable with large and strong dogs. I have a Newfoundland, German Shepherd, and Husky of my own so I understand the structure, consistency, and exercise they need. Whether your dog is big, small, young, or senior, I can confidently provide safe, attentive care. My experience includes walks, feeding, potty breaks, playtime, basic training reinforcement, and of course lots of love and attention. I’m dependable, motivated, and flexible, and I treat every dog like my own. Your pup will receive patient, responsible, loving care every visit. Weekend walks and drop-ins available! Weekday visits can often be arranged with advance notice. I’m flexible and happy to work with your schedule whenever possible. Safety, structure, and communication are my top priorities. I use secure leashing practices, remain attentive on walks, and follow all feeding and care instructions precisely. I respect your home and ensure your pup feels comfortable, safe, and cared for every visit!

About: I have had two cats my whole life who are still with me today at ages 15 and 13. I have been responsible with grooming them, cutting nails, and providing their medication as they have gotten older, and of course cuddling with them!

“Rachel is fantastic! Our little Charlie took to her immediately, she has a beautiful way with animals and they know it. She is trustworthy and dependable - we highly recommend!”

“Kaela was great! My cat is a little shy around new people but warmed up to Kaela very quickly. She took excellent care of my cat while I was away and sent detailed updates and plenty of pictures.”

“Alyeska was a natural with our two boys. They are normally mad when we come back from a trip but they barely registered our return this time. It was clear their physical and emotional needs had been well taken care of. She also send us videos each day at our request, which not all sitters will do, my husband really misses the cats when we are away and these videos get him through. Also she took in packages for us we had forgotten were coming. Excellent communicator and we appreciated how consistent her timing was each day.”

“Kim was fabulous! She did drop in visits for our two cats while we were out of town for 10 days and it was such a relief to have her. We will definitely book with her in the future!”

“Booked last minute when previous sitter backed out night before doggy day care was to begin. They also have dogs which worked out even better since my pup loves to play. This family is my “go to” when I come up to visit. Can’t thank them enough for helping us for this New Year holiday.”

I am truly appreciative of the time and care provided by Sharon. I would strongly recommend her services to anyone in the wake forest area.”
“Sylvia is great! I felt so comfortable leaving Percy with her and really appreciate her experience with rescue dogs. Percy had a wonderful time playing with Sylvia’s dog and came home super tired! Really appreciate the clear and quick communication as well. Thanks!”

“Gretchen was absolutely amazing with our dog, Molly. This was our first time using Rover, and naturally we were a little nervous leaving her with someone new, especially because Molly can be anxious and has a few special considerations. Gretchen immediately put us at ease. She was kind, attentive, communicative, and clearly cared about making Molly feel safe and comfortable in her home. We received updates and could tell Molly was being genuinely cared for, not just watched. Gretchen was also very patient with Molly’s quirks and made the entire experience stress-free for us. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone dependable, compassionate, and attentive.”

“Kim did a great job making my shy pup feel at home! She had good communication, I had updates throughout the day, and we made great conversation. We liked her so much we’re going back every week from now on!”

About: Hi! My name is Wednesday, and my pronouns are they/them. I've been using Rover since 2022 and have had dozens of wonderful clients! I've recently moved from Chapel Hill and am looking for new clients in the area. I have experience with many types of dogs, from newborn to senior or nervous to energetic. I've been fostering puppies since the age of 13, including a litter of 5 at two months and a litter of 8 newborn puppies in 2020 and 2021 respectively. I love dogs! My family has owned a total of 6 throughout my lifetime and I now have my own named October. She is a calm, well-trained dog who is very low maintenance and friendly! She typically does not come along with me on my jobs. I am dedicated to creating a safe and loving environment for your pets, along with clear communication and a trusting relationship with clients. Thank you for your consideration! I work part-time remotely and attend online school, so my schedule is fairly flexible. I always make sure before booking a client that I have enough time to dedicate to their pets so that they are properly taken care of! Communication is key! Before booking pet care, I do my best to get to know your dog, including their routine, temperament, and any other little quirks! We will discuss this information either through Rover, a phone call, and/or a Meet and Greet. My hope is that through these conversations you feel at ease leaving your pet in my care! My top priority is making sure your pet is comfortable, safe, and taken care of.
About: I’ve owned both cats and dogs my whole life, and more recently I’ve owned chickens as well. Starting with cats, I’ve fed and cleaned up after the ones we’ve owned, as well as taken care of the cats and kittens we fostered over the years. I’ve bottle fed them, helped give vaccines, and everything else in between when it comes to raising and taking care of them. I have also helped pet sit many of our neighbors as well as friends cats over the years. We have also owned several dogs, and I have tons of experience with walking and feeding them. We currently own 3; 2 small dogs and 1 big dog, so I have learned how to take care of many sizes of dog. Like with cats, I’ve also walked and fed my neighbors dogs many times when they’ve gone out of town. Lastly, we’ve raised more chickens than I can count in the past 7ish years, and I’ve taken care of chicks we got from breeders, as well as chicks born from our own hens and roosters. All of our chickens free range and are egg layers, so I treat them like any other pet and not like livestock. I have experience feeding them, fending off hawks and other predators, putting them to bed every night, as well as animal-proofing the coops themselves. For almost my whole life, I’ve helped feed our cats and scooped their litter just about every day. I also walk and feed each of our dogs throughout the day. Finally, I feed and put up our chickens many times throughout each week. I follow any instructions my clients may have and can cater to their pets needs. I love on and treat others pets the same way I would with my own, and have done so for neighbors, family, friends, as well as many others.

Whether it's administering medications, recognizing subtle signs of illness, or simply providing loving companionship, I offer a level of expertise and attentiveness that goes beyond typical pet sitting. Your animal’s well-being is my top priority—because caring for animals isn’t just my job, it’s my lifelong passion. Pet care fits easily into my weekly routine since I work part-time. I have the flexibility to give pets the time, attention, and care they need—whether it’s walks, playtime, or just being a calming presence. I provide pet care exclusively in my clients’ homes to ensure pets stay comfortable in their familiar environment. I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet beforehand to get to know the pet, understand their routine, and make sure everyone feels confident and at ease.
About: I have had pets my whole life and still currently have 2 dogs, 2 cats, and a Guinea pig. I have been responsible for cleaning up after them, grooming, playing, and providing their medicine when needed. I have volunteered at multiple animal shelters and have gained knowledge about different temperaments and personalities when working with the many dogs. Also in my time during high school I was one of the more reliable animal caregivers within the students. I am currently on summer break from college and I am available during most of the summer and would love to spend time with your pets while you take a nice vacation with the family! I spend lots of time with my pets at home and make sure they get the loving that they need. We cuddle, play, and even nap together. Within a clients home I would be happy to adjust and give the animal the cuddles they need or tug of war they want.

“Marissa did a great job with my crazy golden retriever, Huck! She was very prompt and did a great job with him despite the fact that he can be a bit of a puller. She was very accommodating and willing to take him on a jog because he has so much energy!”
