About: With 15 years as a registered veterinary technician and a Bachelor’s in Animal Science, I bring professional-level care and deep knowledge of animal health to every pet I look after. Whether it's administering medications, recognizing subtle signs of illness, or simply providing loving companionship, I offer a level of expertise and attentiveness that goes beyond typical pet sitting. I have the flexibility to give pets the time, attention, and care they need—whether it’s walks, playtime, or just being a calming presence. I provide pet care exclusively in my clients’ homes to ensure pets stay comfortable in their familiar environment. I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet beforehand to get to know the pet, understand their routine, and make sure everyone feels confident and at ease.

About: I have had pets my whole life and still currently have 2 dogs, 2 cats, and a Guinea pig. I have been responsible for cleaning up after them, grooming, playing, and providing their medicine when needed. I have volunteered at multiple animal shelters and have gained knowledge about different temperaments and personalities when working with the many dogs. Also in my time during high school I was one of the more reliable animal caregivers within the students. I am currently on summer break from college and I am available during most of the summer and would love to spend time with your pets while you take a nice vacation with the family! I spend lots of time with my pets at home and make sure they get the loving that they need. We cuddle, play, and even nap together. Within a clients home I would be happy to adjust and give the animal the cuddles they need or tug of war they want.

About: I’ve owned both cats and dogs my whole life, and more recently I’ve owned chickens as well. Starting with cats, I’ve fed and cleaned up after the ones we’ve owned, as well as taken care of the cats and kittens we fostered over the years. I’ve bottle fed them, helped give vaccines, and everything else in between when it comes to raising and taking care of them. I have also helped pet sit many of our neighbors as well as friends cats over the years. We have also owned several dogs, and I have tons of experience with walking and feeding them. We currently own 3; 2 small dogs and 1 big dog, so I have learned how to take care of many sizes of dog. Like with cats, I’ve also walked and fed my neighbors dogs many times when they’ve gone out of town. Lastly, we’ve raised more chickens than I can count in the past 7ish years, and I’ve taken care of chicks we got from breeders, as well as chicks born from our own hens and roosters. All of our chickens free range and are egg layers, so I treat them like any other pet and not like livestock. I have experience feeding them, fending off hawks and other predators, putting them to bed every night, as well as animal-proofing the coops themselves. For almost my whole life, I’ve helped feed our cats and scooped their litter just about every day. I also walk and feed each of our dogs throughout the day. Finally, I feed and put up our chickens many times throughout each week. I follow any instructions my clients may have and can cater to their pets needs. I love on and treat others pets the same way I would with my own, and have done so for neighbors, family, friends, as well as many others.

About: My family and I have had pets ever since I was born. Currently, I have a German Shepard and 3 cats. I enjoy taking dogs on walks and keeping kitties company. I worked with a “puppies and yoga” business where I had to handle 6-10 puppies for 8 hours a day. One of my cats has diabetes and I have been administering insulin for almost a year. I can follow a feeding schedule, am flexible and all ages and sizes are fine with me! I am searching for a side gig to compliment my 30 hour work week at Whole Foods Market. About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all ages and sizes (as well as cats) since high school. I have two cats of my own, and grew up with (big) dogs. I’m very comfortable with both overnight stays and drop-in care. I also have lots of experience with multi-pet homes. I’m currently working part-time in the summer, and will be taking college classes starting in September. I’m always free to drop in for mealtimes and walks, and either in the morning or evening can provide more in-depth attention. I am only able to work in clients homes, where I can adapt to any environment necessary, from long walks to backyard play to crate training.

About: Hi! My name is Wednesday, and my pronouns are they/them. I've been using Rover since 2022 and have had dozens of wonderful clients! I've recently moved from Chapel Hill and am looking for new clients in the area. I have experience with many types of dogs, from newborn to senior or nervous to energetic. I've been fostering puppies since the age of 13, including a litter of 5 at two months and a litter of 8 newborn puppies in 2020 and 2021 respectively. I love dogs! My family has owned a total of 6 throughout my lifetime and I now have my own named October. She is a calm, well-trained dog who is very low maintenance and friendly! She typically does not come along with me on my jobs. I am dedicated to creating a safe and loving environment for your pets, along with clear communication and a trusting relationship with clients. Thank you for your consideration! I work part-time remotely and attend online school, so my schedule is fairly flexible. I always make sure before booking a client that I have enough time to dedicate to their pets so that they are properly taken care of! Communication is key! Before booking pet care, I do my best to get to know your dog, including their routine, temperament, and any other little quirks! We will discuss this information either through Rover, a phone call, and/or a Meet and Greet. My hope is that through these conversations you feel at ease leaving your pet in my care!
