About: It can be stressful leaving your dog behind, and we understand that first hand. We help alleviate any fears and treat your dog as a member of our family. We have two dogs of our own and know how important it is for us to know they are treated well whether we leave them with someone else or if someone stops in for care. We appreciate the trust our clients have in us and understand the immense responsibility whether your dogs are left with us or if we are granted access to your home. We have a house with large fenced in yard for play time with our little pack.For drop in visits, we make sure your dog feels comfortable in their own environment and gets the love and attention they may be missing during your absence. We love play time, but cuddle time is a favorite around here!

About: Hi! My name is Wednesday, and my pronouns are they/them. I've been using Rover since 2022 and have had dozens of wonderful clients! I've recently moved from Chapel Hill and am looking for new clients in the area. I have experience with many types of dogs, from newborn to senior or nervous to energetic. I've been fostering puppies since the age of 13, including a litter of 5 at two months and a litter of 8 newborn puppies in 2020 and 2021 respectively. I love dogs! My family has owned a total of 6 throughout my lifetime and I now have my own named October. She is a calm, well-trained dog who is very low maintenance and friendly! She typically does not come along with me on my jobs. I am dedicated to creating a safe and loving environment for your pets, along with clear communication and a trusting relationship with clients. Thank you for your consideration! I work part-time remotely and attend online school, so my schedule is fairly flexible. I always make sure before booking a client that I have enough time to dedicate to their pets so that they are properly taken care of! Communication is key! Before booking pet care, I do my best to get to know your dog, including their routine, temperament, and any other little quirks! We will discuss this information either through Rover, a phone call, and/or a Meet and Greet. My hope is that through these conversations you feel at ease leaving your pet in my care! My top priority is making sure your pet is comfortable, safe, and taken care of.

About: I have a shih tzu of my own who is 16 yrs old, which has allowed me to get comfortable with dogs. I have taken care of many of my friends, family, and neighbors’ pets. I’ve pet sat many dogs and cats and even a frog! I love any opportunity to bond with animals and make them loved :) I am a college student, attending Wake Forest University. I am home for the summer and holidays with lots of free time to care for furry friends! I love to play with pets throwing toys, giving lots of love rubs along with making sure to tend to their biological needs. I am very attentive to each pet and stick to all instructions given by their owners. They know them best!

About: I have been around pets since I was a child and personally have 2 cats, 2 dogs, and 2 fish. Not to mention 2 human children. I treat pets as part of the family! I am a full time domestic engineer and with two kids in school it leaves my time open to help others with their schedules. I’m available during the day while my kids are out and my husband works from home so I have evening flexibility as well. I was raised to respect people’s property to the extreme. I was also a girls scout and theory was to leave things in better shape than you found them.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all ages and sizes (as well as cats) since high school. I have two cats of my own, and grew up with (big) dogs. I’m very comfortable with both overnight stays and drop-in care. I also have lots of experience with multi-pet homes. I’m currently working part-time in the summer, and will be taking college classes starting in September. I’m always free to drop in for mealtimes and walks, and either in the morning or evening can provide more in-depth attention. I am only able to work in clients homes, where I can adapt to any environment necessary, from long walks to backyard play to crate training.

About: I grew up on a farm with all sorts of animals. I have had indoor pets for over 30 years and currently my family and I have two cats. I can even take care of smaller pets like hamsters, guinea pigs and lizards. However, spiders need not apply! 🙂 I currently work until 2: 30 p.m. But I have flexibility to go check on pets, I can also do evening runs and or house sitting as needed! my preference would be to check on your pets in your home, but can provide care in my home. I have cats who have been around dogs a bit

About: While your pets are in my care, they will be treated as if they were my own. I will assist you in training your puppy to master the basic commands: sit, stay, and come. I am retired so your pet care is my first responsibility. During the summer, I will walk in the morning with potty breaks in the afternoon if it's too hot. During winter, if the weather doesn't permit driving, I will contact you and ensure that as soon as I can drive, I will be there to give your pet much-needed potty breaks and playtime. With that in mind, I will only walk when the weather permits. I will give them time to take care of their business and plenty of play time when the weather does not permit a walk.

About: Hi!! I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, mainly mid-sized/larger breeds, and taken care of their medication, food, play and exercise needs whenever my family would be out of town. Over the past three years, I’ve worked with multiple different families and truly love creating a safe, happy place for your fur child, as well as making sure you know your pet is being well cared for! I provided full time care for weekends and vacation weeks, including keeping to the owner’s preferences for number of walks and feeding times, playing throughout the day, and administering meds as appropriate. I’m your dog’s number one fan, as well as photographer (so you’ll definitely get some cute photos of them too). I’m a physical therapist, and I’d love the opportunity to help out with your pet care needs. Currently I’m located in Wake Forest until mid-August, then I’ll be moving to Wilmington to start my full-time residency! Additionally, I’m very active and love to run, so no worries about me keeping up with any high-energy pets! The majority of my experience is house sitting, so I ensure both the dog’s needs and house needs are taken care of. This may include bringing in packages, watering the plants, etc. I do have a car, so I have some flexibility with distance.

I previously owned and operated my own pet daycare and boarding facility, where I cared for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. I am able to accommodate morning and evening potty breaks, playtime, walks and meals as I do have a full-time job where I will be gone from 7:30AM to 4:30PM Monday through Friday but I have large kennels available if pets are needed to be crated and a designated dog room where they can be left out comfortably. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. My home features a fully fenced-in yard for secure outdoor play and is located in a sidewalk-friendly neighborhood for safe, structured walks. I have three friendly, well-socialized dogs of my own, and I always conduct slow, controlled introductions to ensure everyone feels comfortable. Feeding times are handled separately to prevent food guarding or stress, and crating options are available if requested or if a dog feels more secure with their own space. For additional peace of mind, I also utilize camera monitoring when needed to ensure safety at all times. My goal is to provide a calm, structured, and cozy environment where every pet feels safe and cared for.
