About: It can be stressful leaving your dog behind, and we understand that first hand. We help alleviate any fears and treat your dog as a member of our family. We have two dogs of our own and know how important it is for us to know they are treated well whether we leave them with someone else or if someone stops in for care. We appreciate the trust our clients have in us and understand the immense responsibility whether your dogs are left with us or if we are granted access to your home. We have a house with large fenced in yard for play time with our little pack. For drop in visits, we make sure your dog feels comfortable in their own environment and gets the love and attention they may be missing during your absence. We love play time, but cuddle time is a favorite around here!

About: Hi! My name is Wednesday, and my pronouns are they/them. I've been using Rover since 2022 and have had dozens of wonderful clients! I've recently moved from Chapel Hill and am looking for new clients in the area. I have experience with many types of dogs, from newborn to senior or nervous to energetic. I've been fostering puppies since the age of 13, including a litter of 5 at two months and a litter of 8 newborn puppies in 2020 and 2021 respectively. I love dogs! My family has owned a total of 6 throughout my lifetime and I now have my own named October. She is a calm, well-trained dog who is very low maintenance and friendly! She typically does not come along with me on my jobs. I am dedicated to creating a safe and loving environment for your pets, along with clear communication and a trusting relationship with clients. Thank you for your consideration! I work part-time remotely and attend online school, so my schedule is fairly flexible. I always make sure before booking a client that I have enough time to dedicate to their pets so that they are properly taken care of! Communication is key! Before booking pet care, I do my best to get to know your dog, including their routine, temperament, and any other little quirks! We will discuss this information either through Rover, a phone call, and/or a Meet and Greet. My hope is that through these conversations you feel at ease leaving your pet in my care! My top priority is making sure your pet is comfortable, safe, and taken care of.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all ages and sizes (as well as cats) since high school. I have two cats of my own, and grew up with (big) dogs. I’m very comfortable with both overnight stays and drop-in care. I also have lots of experience with multi-pet homes. I’m currently working part-time in the summer, and will be taking college classes starting in September. I’m always free to drop in for mealtimes and walks, and either in the morning or evening can provide more in-depth attention. I am only able to work in clients homes, where I can adapt to any environment necessary, from long walks to backyard play to crate training.

About: I've been around animals my whole life — I grew up with a Labrador-Retriever mix, a Pitbull, and another Lab, so I'm very familiar with dogs of all sizes and energy levels. I'm also a proud cat owner, which means I'm just as comfortable caring for feline friends! Whether it's a playful pup or a shy kitty, I understand how to make pets feel safe, seen, and loved. Pet care fits perfectly into my weekday routine! For the time being, I'm available almost all day for walks and drop-in visits. I am unavailable between 7AM-8AM and then 2PM-4PM, with some flexibility depending on your location. I plan my day around giving pets the time, attention, and care they need — whether it’s a quick potty break, playtime, or some midday cuddles. You can trust that your pets will feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in their own environment. I treat every home with respect and every pet like family — making sure they feel secure, loved, and right at ease while you're away.

About: Hello, My name is Sydney, and I’m excited to offer my services as a pet sitter through Rover. Animals have always been a big part of my life—I currently care for 18 pets, including dogs, cats, chinchillas, a bearded dragon, and chickens. This hands-on experience has given me a deep understanding of animal behavior, care routines, and the importance of providing individualized attention to each pet’s unique needs. I am comfortable administering oral medications and have experience caring for senior dogs, including those with mobility challenges or special health considerations. Whether your pet needs an energetic walk, a gentle stroll, or some extra TLC, I’m committed to ensuring they feel safe, loved, and well-cared for in your absence. You can trust that I will treat your pet like one of my own—offering patience, affection, and reliability. I am also happy to provide regular updates, photos, and any special care requests to give you peace of mind. I look forward to the opportunity to care for your furry (or scaly or feathery) family members and ensure they are happy and comfortable while you’re away. Best regards, Sydney I work during the week Monday through Friday. On Mondays I typically work from home, so I’d be able to do drop ins on Mondays, and on Fridays I work in the office for a half day, so if you go on a weekend getaway I could start earlier on Friday afternoon. I also am off on weekends, so I have full availability then. I can also do evening check-ins any day of the week. When going into someone else’s home, I make sure to follow any rules that the family has in place for me. When caring for a pet in someone else’s home, I don’t mind spending extra time with their pet as I know sometimes animals can get lonely and miss their humans. I will be sure to make sure they are well fed, always have water, get lots of pets/snuggles, and I’ll be sure to send updates and photos. If there is anything wrong when checking on your pet, I will be sure to let you know immediately and will take your pet to a vet.

Your animal’s well-being is my top priority—because caring for animals isn’t just my job, it’s my lifelong passion. Pet care fits easily into my weekly routine since I work part-time. I have the flexibility to give pets the time, attention, and care they need—whether it’s walks, playtime, or just being a calming presence. About: I bring lifelong experience in canine care, beginning in childhood and continuing through the present. I currently care for five dogs and have extensive hands-on experience managing multiple dogs at once, including the care of three litters and several additional dogs in the past. I am available seven days a week with flexible hours. At this time, I am seeking a position that offers flexibility rather than a full-time commitment, and I am eager to pursue work that aligns with my experience and interests. If needed, I am able to safely crate your dog or place them in a designated area. I am experienced in handling dogs that are uncomfortable walking on a leash and can manage them calmly and confidently. I also ensure that all basic needs are met before departure, including providing food and fresh water.

About: While your pets are in my care, they will be treated as if they were my own. I will assist you in training your puppy to master the basic commands: sit, stay, and come. I am retired so your pet care is my first responsibility. During the summer, I will walk in the morning with potty breaks in the afternoon if it's too hot. During winter, if the weather doesn't permit driving, I will contact you and ensure that as soon as I can drive, I will be there to give your pet much-needed potty breaks and playtime. For more detailed availability, please see my public calendar https://calendar.app.google/1EpS26QNofEFAmsH7 Your pet's safety is my #1 concern. With that in mind, I will only walk when the weather permits. I will give them time to take care of their business and plenty of play time when the weather does not permit a walk.

Whether it's positive reinforcement training for puppies, gentle care for senior pets, or managing health needs like medication, I go the extra mile to ensure your pet feels safe, loved, and well-cared for. About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life; I grew up surrounded by them and have been caring for them since I was young. For years, I’ve looked after dogs and cats for friends and family, gaining experience with many different breeds and personalities. Because my mother was a Veterinary Technician for 15 years, I grew up learning the essentials of animal wellness and safety directly from a professional. I am dedicated to bringing that same level of care and expertise to your pets! I currently work part-time as a lifeguard, so my schedule is incredibly flexible, and I have plenty of free time to dedicate to your furry friends. Whether it's high-energy playtime with dogs or cozy snuggles with cats, I thrive on making sure pets feel happy and safe while their owners are away. When I care for your pets in your home, my priority is maintaining the high standard of care they are already used to. Because every pet is unique, I tailor my approach to meet their specific needs and your household rules.
