“Melissa was great with King! She sent lots of pictures, had great communication and accommodated him with care. I could tell he was well taken care of. Would definitely book again! :)”

“Sonia and Jeff are great dog sitters and very kind and caring people. Our dogs Benson and Chloe were well cared for and even accepted additional days at last notice for an emergency situation. We are grateful for them. They sent photos and wet in close contact with us while away. I highly recommend Sonia and Jeff.”

“Karen was absolutely amazing with my dog Loki! It was my first time leaving him with someone in the area, and she did everything to make me feel confident and comfortable with leaving him overnight. Loki got along great with her sweet golden, the pictures were adorable. We will definitely use her again!”

“Elizabeth was amazing with my dogs Bucky and Max. She sent multiple photos everyday with updates, which was awesome to see! She stayed in communication throughout their stay with her and her husband! Will definitely use again and highly recommend!!”

“Andrew was the best and Took care of my husky, and provided pictures and was very patient and also provided tons of exercise for my dog. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a dog sitter or boarder in the future.”
“Luis was wonderful. He communicated every step of the way. He was kind, knowledgeable and accommodating. I made a mistake and he was more than gracious about it. This was my first experience with Rover and I was extremely nervous. However, I will definitely be looking to work with him again.”

“This was our first time using Miriam to board our fur baby Pepper for the weekend. We were a little nervous since we had a regular sitter for years until we moved a couple months ago. She helped us have peace of mind by showing us where our dog would be staying as well as asking us questions that would help her to care for Pepper. Miriam was very transparent and also introduced us to her doggie 🐶. Everything went smoothly and she kept us updated throughout the weekend. We were also pleasantly surprised that our dog was not as nervous as we thought she would be and was able to adapt quickly. Definitely recommend Miriam and will be using her services again.”

“Rachel is fantastic! Our little Charlie took to her immediately, she has a beautiful way with animals and they know it. She is trustworthy and dependable - we highly recommend!”

“I am so happy that I found Baylee on Rover! I knew that Baylee was going to be the perfect cat sitting match from the moment I met her during our initial meet and greet. She took great care of my cat for seven days with twice daily visits. She was extremely reliable by showing up at the same time each day and very communicative by providing detailed notes after each visit, along with several photos. She took the time to get to know my cat and I felt good knowing that my cat was in such great, loving hands while I was out of town. Baylee is such an amazing person and she has such great love for cats. Being new to town, I am so fortunate that I found an incredible cat sitter that I can trust for my future cat sitting needs. I would recommend Baylee 1000% to care for your furry felines. She is caring, very responsive, extremely reliable and such a fantastic person overall!”

“As always Sharon has been a great help to us while we're away. Would book her again when needed and recommend to anyone looking for pet sitting care. She communicates well and asks questions when uncertain or to make sure we're on the same page.”

“Paulina always does such a great job caring for our Clover while we’re away - can’t say enough positive things about her attention to detail and strong communication!!”

“Courtney was a fantastic sitter for my 2 cats. She spent lots of time with them playing with them, showing them affection and giving them time to warm up to her. She also brought in mail while we were gone and gave updates that made me feel better about leaving them. It was nice to see them enjoying her attention and treats. I'll definitely request her services again!”

“Alyeska was a natural with our two boys. They are normally mad when we come back from a trip but they barely registered our return this time. It was clear their physical and emotional needs had been well taken care of. She also send us videos each day at our request, which not all sitters will do, my husband really misses the cats when we are away and these videos get him through. Also she took in packages for us we had forgotten were coming. Excellent communicator and we appreciated how consistent her timing was each day.”
“Teresa was prompt with the visits and left updates. I felt so at ease with having someone check in on my babies. I will definitely be re- booking with her in the future!”

“Elizabeth was absolutely amazing with Milo. I found her very last minute and she was willing to help me out in short notice. She was so great, will definitely be using her again whenever I need a cat sitter.”

About: I’ve grown up with many dogs ranging from Dachshunds to Pitbulls. I love helping my dogs stay active and comfortable. I would love to care for your pet, small or large, in your time away! I work Monday-Thursday from 8am-5pm and Fridays 8:30-2:30. I am able to walk your dog or drop in from 12pm-1pm on weekdays. Unfortunately, outside of that time frame, I am not available until 5:30pm on a weekday (Mon-Thurs) or from 7am-8am. For drop-ins and walking, I will make sure to check on all of your animals needs and anything else pet related that you would like while I am there. I would love any tips to help care for your animal while I am with them!

“Nicole stopped in for another potty break. I do believe our 1 year old Goldendoodle has found a new friend. Since our little girls recommends Nicole we do too. Thanks Nicole for taking care of our babygirl.”

About: I grew up around dogs thanks to my mom, who has owned a boarding kennel and doggy daycare for over 35 years. I have since then taken her place and have ran the kennel for just over 2 years. In my free time I enjoy hiking with my 2 puppers and shadowing the K9 Behavior trainer of Charleys K9 Rescue. I also foster puppies through Charleys, so if you or anyone you know is looking to adopt, we have plenty of adult dogs and puppies looking for their forever home ❤️ Being your own boss has its perks in that I have a relatively flexible schedule and am able to come and go throughout the day. I’m typically available Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Times may vary, however I am alway willing to compromise. I am a big advocate for the importance of leash safety and proper leash etiquette. It’s most important for people in the pet care industry to have a full understanding and training on the body language and correct approach when handling/caring for and interacting with new pets in their territory. Pets would be treated as my own and I would always act and react with their best interest in mind. From throwing a ball until my arm falls off to snuggling on the couch for long periods of time. I’m your girl!

“Kim was fabulous! She did drop in visits for our two cats while we were out of town for 10 days and it was such a relief to have her. We will definitely book with her in the future!”

“Leah took great care of our cat, Phoebe, while we were gone! She sent us cute photos and updated us each time she visited her. It was great knowing our cat was in good hands for the week.”

About: I’ve had dogs (and cats and even a bird) for as long as I can remember! I spent a summer working at a doggy day care place and have interacted with all kinds of dogs! My mom’s dog that I’ve had since my childhood has kidney disease and requires extra attention with food and medicine, so I have experience with dogs that have specific needs. I would love to help care for your dogs! I’m currently working on my Masters and have a flexible schedule apart from classes, so I would love to fill my time with some pups during the week! I would love to work with you on scheduling to make sure your pups are taken care of! I love spending time with dogs in whatever way they most prefer! I love to take them on walks or sit on the couch with them and give them belly rubs!
About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs since my early teens. I have a strong passion for dogs and love to care for them. I am very accustomed to dogs with behavior issues and bad anxiety because my own dog struggles with that. I can also handle both small and large dogs. I love taking my dogs on walks and also occasionally will find an easy trail to hike on with them. I would love to bring your dogs on nearby trails or stick to easy walks based on the dogs energy levels. I do stay overnight and house sit if requested. I’m currently working part time (short hours 2 days a week) so i’ll have plenty of time to play with and look after your pups! I unfortunately cannot care for your dogs at my own home because one of my dogs is not friendly towards other dogs, but I am more than happy to watch your dogs at your home! I can stay overnight with your dog if requested.

“Gillian was reliable and sweet with our cats. She was punctual and diligently followed our instructions to take care them. Our senior boy is a little particular about his food.”

“Skirla (aka Sorel) is great! Sushi normally barks and growls at everyone but not her! I feel comfortable leaving my baby with her for my week long vacation and will book again when the need arises.”

“Booked last minute when previous sitter backed out night before doggy day care was to begin. They also have dogs which worked out even better since my pup loves to play. This family is my “go to” when I come up to visit. Can’t thank them enough for helping us for this New Year holiday.”

“Kerri and her husband are amazing dog sitters. They sent me pictures and videos during the day and I could see that Ollie had a great time. I highly recommend Kerri and will bring Ollie back when I need another doggy day care.”

“Lucy enjoyed her stay with Sonia. She loved being in the yard and hanging out with everyone. We dropped her off and she didn’t look back. She started exploring the yard.”

“Miriam was wonderful from the start. She communicated so well, conforming details and answering questions promptly. She was professional, kind and helpful. Plus, our little Daisy loved her! We will definitely book pup sitting with Miriam again!”

“Had to find someone super last minute, and Lorraine was very responsive and great at communicating! Nairobi, my cockapoo, had a very pleasant experience, and I will definitely be a repeat customer! Highly recommend for anyone considering!”

“Sharon was wonderful! She was flexible and was able to meet all of my dogs needs while at daycare . She went above and beyond to make sure he was not only comfortable, but happy. She sent numerous pictures throughout the day highlighting my dog lounging and going for walks throughout the neighborhood. He also received his mid day medication without hesitation. I am truly appreciative of the time and care provided by Sharon. I would strongly recommend her services to anyone in the wake forest area.”
“Athena was in her element - running, playing, and enjoying the companionship of her canine relatives! What a special day and place for Athena to spend time being a ‘puppy’ with such joy. Thank you Melissa”
“Olive had a great day of daycare with Summer and her pack! Summer and her husband were very flexible and open to accommodate Olive and they were both patient with her nervousness. We’ll definitely be reaching out in the future!”

“I am a first time animal owner, and Keith has been a tremendous help with caring and sharing great moments with my precious Indya. She loves her weekly daycare time with him and I would highly recommend his services. Keith is the greatest and the previous reviews are spot on. Thank you Keith for all that you do😍”

About: Hi there! I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember — they’ve always been a part of my life. Right now, I have a three-year-old mini Bernedoodle named Hopper who’s full of love and always ready to make a new friend! I work from home, so your dog will get tons of attention, playtime, and care all day long. I love getting outside for walks (they’re the best part of my day!) and just hanging out with dogs, making sure they feel happy, loved, and safe. Your pup’s health and happiness are my #1 priority. I’ll also make sure they get the right amount of exercise, follow any special routines, and, of course, give them all the cuddles they want. I spent 10 years volunteering at animal shelters, walking and socializing dogs of all sizes and personalities — from the super social to the extra shy. Every dog deserves love, patience, and lots of care, and that’s exactly what I’m here to give! I can’t wait to meet your pup and treat them like part of the family! I work from home and am always taking care of my dog and would love to take care of yours too. It fits perfectly into my daily life. I follow all feeding and walking instructions and make sure all dogs get enough exercise (or sleep!). My top priority is health and following directions.
“Brandi and John were exceedingly accommodating and helpful! I needed last-minute daycare and I am so grateful. My dog was happy when I picked him up and they sent me pictures throughout the day. I highly recommend them!”

“Gretchen was absolutely amazing with our dog, Molly. This was our first time using Rover, and naturally we were a little nervous leaving her with someone new, especially because Molly can be anxious and has a few special considerations. Gretchen immediately put us at ease. She was kind, attentive, communicative, and clearly cared about making Molly feel safe and comfortable in her home. We received updates and could tell Molly was being genuinely cared for, not just watched. Gretchen was also very patient with Molly’s quirks and made the entire experience stress-free for us. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone dependable, compassionate, and attentive.”

“Sharon is absolutely WONDERFUL! She was able to accommodate a last minute request to care for Nala. Nala is a high anxiety dog and I always worry when I have to leave her. She immediately came up to Sharon during the initial meeting and showed no anxiety. Sharon let me know how my dog was doing and her behavior. Sharon was on time and provided excellent communication. 100% recommend Sharon.”

I've recently moved from Chapel Hill and am looking for new clients in the area. I have experience with many types of dogs, from newborn to senior or nervous to energetic. I've been fostering puppies since the age of 13, including a litter of 5 at two months and a litter of 8 newborn puppies in 2020 and 2021 respectively. I love dogs! She typically does not come along with me on my jobs. I am dedicated to creating a safe and loving environment for your pets, along with clear communication and a trusting relationship with clients. Thank you for your consideration! I work part-time remotely and attend online school, so my schedule is fairly flexible. I always make sure before booking a client that I have enough time to dedicate to their pets so that they are properly taken care of! Communication is key! Before booking pet care, I do my best to get to know your dog, including their routine, temperament, and any other little quirks! We will discuss this information either through Rover, a phone call, and/or a Meet and Greet. My hope is that through these conversations you feel at ease leaving your pet in my care! My top priority is making sure your pet is comfortable, safe, and taken care of.

About: Hello, My name is Sydney, and I’m excited to offer my services as a pet sitter through Rover. Animals have always been a big part of my life—I currently care for 18 pets, including dogs, cats, chinchillas, a bearded dragon, and chickens. This hands-on experience has given me a deep understanding of animal behavior, care routines, and the importance of providing individualized attention to each pet’s unique needs. I am comfortable administering oral medications and have experience caring for senior dogs, including those with mobility challenges or special health considerations. Whether your pet needs an energetic walk, a gentle stroll, or some extra TLC, I’m committed to ensuring they feel safe, loved, and well-cared for in your absence. You can trust that I will treat your pet like one of my own—offering patience, affection, and reliability. I am also happy to provide regular updates, photos, and any special care requests to give you peace of mind. I look forward to the opportunity to care for your furry (or scaly or feathery) family members and ensure they are happy and comfortable while you’re away. Best regards, Sydney I work during the week Monday through Friday. On Mondays I typically work from home, so I’d be able to do drop ins on Mondays, and on Fridays I work in the office for a half day, so if you go on a weekend getaway I could start earlier on Friday afternoon. I also am off on weekends, so I have full availability then. I can also do evening check-ins any day of the week. When going into someone else’s home, I make sure to follow any rules that the family has in place for me. When caring for a pet in someone else’s home, I don’t mind spending extra time with their pet as I know sometimes animals can get lonely and miss their humans. I will be sure to make sure they are well fed, always have water, get lots of pets/snuggles, and I’ll be sure to send updates and photos. If there is anything wrong when checking on your pet, I will be sure to let you know immediately and will take your pet to a vet.

At this time, I am seeking a position that offers flexibility rather than a full-time commitment, and I am eager to pursue work that aligns with my experience and interests.

“Bailey was just amazing. This was the first time my 11 year old chihuahua has been away from home without me, but the moment I met Bailey I was immediately at ease. She showed kindness, love, and patience towards my dog from the start. She showed me around her yard, and listened attentively as I explained my dog's habits and routines. She sent a text and photos of how my dog was doing during his stay with her. When I went to pick him up, he showed no signs of stress - he was calm and happy upon my arrival. Thank you, Bailey! I would book with you again in a heartbeat.”

“Absolutely Perfect! Mia is a sweet old lady, but barely llkes any other dogs and that was not the case at Bryan's. He has a way with our animals! I hope you have the opportunity to have a similar experience. Thanks Bryan & the Pirate Crew.”

“Hilary took great care of my dog! She was very communicative and flexible when I need some scheduling changes as well. Will definitely be using her as a sitter again!”

“My family and I were preparing to head out of town for my birthday when we realized, in the middle of all the planning, that we had forgotten to schedule a sitter for Oakley. Like any dog mom would, I immediately went to Rover and was pleasantly surprised to see several sitters available. I reached out to a few profiles, and Rebecca D. responded right away, which immediately gave me peace of mind. Rebecca was incredibly kind, responsive, and easy to communicate with. We quickly coordinated a plan for dropping Oakley off, and the process was seamless. When we arrived, Rebecca was already outside waiting for us and gave clear instructions on where to park. She even invited us inside, which we politely declined, but I thought it was such a thoughtful gesture. Prior to our arrival, she also shared information about her dog’s temperament, which I really appreciated. Throughout the weekend, Rebecca kept us updated with photos and videos of Oakley, which made us feel so comfortable while we were away. When we picked him up, he was excited to see us, but it was also obvious that he had a wonderful time with her. Oakley came home happy, and we are so thankful for the care Rebecca provided. I would absolutely recommend booking with her!”

“Gretchen was fantastic with Luci! She welcomed her into her home and took great care of her. Luci was comfortable and well cared for the entire time. Highly recommend!”
