Skirla (aka Sorel) is great! Sushi normally barks and growls at everyone but not her! I feel comfortable leaving my baby with her for my week long vacation and will book again when the need arises.

Booked last minute when previous sitter backed out night before doggy day care was to begin. They also have dogs which worked out even better since my pup loves to play. This family is my “go to” when I come up to visit. Can’t thank them enough for helping us for this New Year holiday.

Kerri and her husband are amazing dog sitters. They sent me pictures and videos during the day and I could see that Ollie had a great time. I highly recommend Kerri and will bring Ollie back when I need another doggy day care.

I was so pleased with how well Luna was taken care of at Abby Farm Pet Sitters. I received regular feedback from Sonia on how she was doing, and I was also impressed with how organized she and Jeff were with the care of the animals.

About: Dog momma experienced with training (no-pull walking, basic manners), all cat and small animal care, giving medications, and volunteering in shelters. My calm, assertive approach will keep your creature happy and on their best behavior in your absence. I've a beagle mix, age 6. He’s friendly, playful, gentle and cuddly with non aggressive dogs. We can welcome your dog in our home for boarding or daycare, or I can care for your dog, cat, or barnyard or small animal in yours for short visits, walks, feedings etc. We have a large shade and sun fenced yard, and a single level home that revolves around dog care. Plenty of clean space, toys, mini pool, and good walking routes. I can care for your pet in your home if reasonably accessible to me.

What a wonderful experience Michael and I had with Lorraine! She has a beautiful home just a few minutes drive from downtown Chattanooga, with a nice fenced in yard. We are very protective of and particular about our three Maltese pups, and we couldn't be happier with the way they were treated. Lorraine was both kind and professional. She sent us pics several times during the day to keep us posted. We give her our highest recommendation!

About: Hi I am Suzanne! I have cared for many dogs throughout the years of both friends and family members who are traveling out of town. I have a genuine love for dogs and will do everything within my power to foster a warm, inviting home away from home for your dog. I have experience walking, feeding, crating, and playing with dogs of many different breeds. I am the right home away from home for your pup if he/she loves being around attentive, nurturing family with children. I am a homeschool mom of three children, aged 6, 9, and 11. As a homeschool mom, I am home a large majority of the time. I am available and present weekdays and weekends to care for and spend quality time with your pup! Any pup in our home will be well-loved, played with, cuddled, and attended to in a kind, gentle way! While I am home, your pup will be able to freely wander our downstairs area and screened in porch. At bedtime and when I have to leave the house, I will crate your pup. I have a large yard and a great neighborhood to walk your dog frequently. I have a screened in porch for your pup to lounge in on beautiful days and a large downstairs area to ensure your dog has a comfortable place to stay and an indoor place to play ball and snuggle. I can accommodate small and medium dogs who are crate-trained. For fully-potty trained dogs, I have a downstairs area that I can safely accommodate smaller pups who are not crate-trained.

About: Caring for dogs isn’t just what I do- it’s who I am. As a proud parent of three wonderful pups, I know every tail wag and each happy bark means the world. I’ll treat your dog just like my own - with plenty of playtime, safe walks, and fun photo updates so you’re always in the loop!! My husband and I both work from home and the pups are very seldom left alone. If you want your pup crated we will follow your instructions. We may run to the store for a few, but we don’t even like to leave our pets alone :) I have an extremely large fenced in back yard for the pups to run and play!! We work from home and we are able to care for your pups all day! We do let animals on the couch and the bed, but will crate if that’s what you prefer.

About: Let me provide your dog with a home away from home :) — I treat every pup like my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Whether that means long walks, playtime, or just some snuggles, I try to match their personality and needs. I’ve cared for dogs of all kinds — from high to low energy. I’m big on routines, communication, and making sure pet parents never feel out of the loop. You’ll always get updates and pictures so you can see how your pup’s doing. My goal is simple: for you to feel completely at ease knowing your dog is happy, cared for, and in good hands. I work from home, so I have plenty of flexibility to care for your pup throughout the day. I can do multiple walks a day, stick to your preferred schedule, and give your dog lots of attention and playtime. I live in a very walk-friendly neighborhood with a large dog park, which is perfect for getting in some fresh air and exercise! I only board potty-trained dogs to keep things clean and comfortable for everyone. I do have a medium-sized crate available if you prefer your dog to have their own space at night instead of free roaming. My main priority is keeping your pet safe, happy, and relaxed while you’re away. I make sure they get the care, love, and attention they need in a calm and comfortable environment.

Gretchen was absolutely amazing with our dog, Molly. This was our first time using Rover, and naturally we were a little nervous leaving her with someone new, especially because Molly can be anxious and has a few special considerations. Gretchen immediately put us at ease. She was kind, attentive, communicative, and clearly cared about making Molly feel safe and comfortable in her home. We received updates and could tell Molly was being genuinely cared for, not just watched. Gretchen was also very patient with Molly’s quirks and made the entire experience stress-free for us. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone dependable, compassionate, and attentive.

About: Hi there! I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember — they’ve always been a part of my life. Right now, I have a three-year-old mini Bernedoodle named Hopper who’s full of love and always ready to make a new friend! I work from home, so your dog will get tons of attention, playtime, and care all day long. I love getting outside for walks (they’re the best part of my day!) and just hanging out with dogs, making sure they feel happy, loved, and safe. Your pup’s health and happiness are my #1 priority. I’ll also make sure they get the right amount of exercise, follow any special routines, and, of course, give them all the cuddles they want. I spent 10 years volunteering at animal shelters, walking and socializing dogs of all sizes and personalities — from the super social to the extra shy. Every dog deserves love, patience, and lots of care, and that’s exactly what I’m here to give! I can’t wait to meet your pup and treat them like part of the family! I work from home and am always taking care of my dog and would love to take care of yours too. It fits perfectly into my daily life. I follow all feeding and walking instructions and make sure all dogs get enough exercise (or sleep!). My top priority is health and following directions.

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with extensive professional and personal experience in pet care. I previously owned and operated my own pet daycare and boarding facility, where I cared for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. In addition to running a facility, I’ve spent many years caring for my own pets, as well as rescuing and fostering animals in need. Working with rescues has given me experience with shy, anxious, and high-needs dogs — and taught me patience, structure, and how to build trust. I’m comfortable administering medications, managing feeding schedules, supervising play, and maintaining consistent routines. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities, and I treat every animal like family. I am able to accommodate morning and evening potty breaks, playtime, walks and meals as I do have a full-time job where I will be gone from 7:30AM to 4:30PM Monday through Friday but I have large kennels available if pets are needed to be crated and a designated dog room where they can be left out comfortably. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. My home features a fully fenced-in yard for secure outdoor play and is located in a sidewalk-friendly neighborhood for safe, structured walks. I have three friendly, well-socialized dogs of my own, and I always conduct slow, controlled introductions to ensure everyone feels comfortable. Feeding times are handled separately to prevent food guarding or stress, and crating options are available if requested or if a dog feels more secure with their own space. For additional peace of mind, I also utilize camera monitoring when needed to ensure safety at all times. My goal is to provide a calm, structured, and cozy environment where every pet feels safe and cared for.

Most dog sitters love animals. They bring your pet into their home and it's treated as one of the family. Jeff looks at it differently. He learns each dog's unique personality and works hard to ensure they get a good experience as an individual. Placing the right dogs together to play. Making sure they have exercise, treats, and rest that meets their needs. If you're looking for a personnel fit, this is the place.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Youngsville on Rover is $29.96 per day (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of July 2026, there are 1,231 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Youngsville. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Youngsville commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in NC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 1,231 sitters in Youngsville, 87% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
