About: Hi All, My name is Alessandria but I prefer to be called Alekx and no the K is not a typo. My hair color is subject to change but it's just dyed hair braided into my natural hair. I have been caring for animals professionally since 2006, until 2013 where I took a leap in a different field of work. I use to move all over the country but I am home and hoping to start pet sitting as my main job. I have a guinea pig by the named Tikka Teacake and she is a little siren but she is my 3rd guinea pig. I am a non-smoker and prefer days curled up with fluffy creatures and a good book. In regards to my experience I have worked at pets resorts such as Sunny Acres where I had a few loyal dogs that I dearly miss. I have owned large dog breeds my whole life and grew up with pure breed Rottweilers, German Shepherd mixes, and my current lovely mutt. I have been doing home pet sitting for over a decade. I usually spend most the day when I am at home entertaining my pets or letting them have free run of the backyard with regular check ins. I make sure that their food is good for their stomach, their daily exercise if playing outside with a normal dose of petting and grooming. I recently got off of medical leave so I have started short nightly walks and we work out together to stay happy and healthy. I am a big night owl so I love watching my dogs snore about. A safe home is one your pet recognizes as the pack den. I care for all pets with repetitive training, health care checks, grooming, and dental care as long as they will let me. I love to make a home pet safe by avoiding choking hazards and loose cables. (Mainly because my guinea pig is a little menace). Medications are taken with timers and usually snuck into foods. I like keeping basic training habits are maintained so that the pets do not unlearn anything their humans have taught them.

About: Every dog I meet is a companion full of joy, and excitement. I can't wait to be your canine's next good friend! Experience: At the age of 3 I immediately knew I loved dogs. As I grew, I took steps to surround myself with them. For 3 years in high school I volunteered at my local animal shelter taking all types of dogs on walks, bathing them, and working with them. I learned how to deal with dogs who weren't at their best and who had a wide range of personalities. Then, for two years I worked in a veterinarians office as an assistant due to my undying love of each and every dog. I have hosted dogs in my home in the past here on Rover over the course of 3 years, but now I am operating my fish farm, I am happy to drop in for your animals while you are away. I can give long walks, administer medication, drop in for feeding and litter box scraping, house sit, or farm sit (explicit experience with chicks/chickens/horses/fish/reptiles). I look forward to being a companion for you and your animals. I have a flexible routine on my farm that requires about 2 hours of my time every day. I will fit your animal care around those hours. In my home, my dog lives a life of luxury. I have a philosophy of observing an animal intensely and observing what they may need or want. Each animal has a different vibe and needs me in a different way.

About: While your pets are in my care, they will be treated as if they were my own. I will assist you in training your puppy to master the basic commands: sit, stay, and come. I am retired so your pet care is my first responsibility. During the summer, I will walk in the morning with potty breaks in the afternoon if it's too hot. During winter, if the weather doesn't permit driving, I will contact you and ensure that as soon as I can drive, I will be there to give your pet much-needed potty breaks and playtime. With that in mind, I will only walk when the weather permits. I will give them time to take care of their business and plenty of play time when the weather does not permit a walk.

About: I’ve pet sat my friends animals, and they’ve had so many! Senior dogs that have accidents and have behavioral issues. Exotic pets, of many kids. Every morning, I fill the cat and water bowl in my room, weekly I clean the bowls. For my dogs, whenever my parents don’t feed them cause they are out, I feed them and fill their water. I brush their coats, and try to give them baths every few weeks or so! However the pet parents would like, but I care for what is best for their health. I understand each pet is different and needs different things. I can bathe the animals depending on behavior, my right leg doesn't haven't as much feeling since surgery and cant handle a lot of big pressure.

About: I am a true animal lover. I have had pets my entire life (50+ years!!). I also volunteer at animal shelters and rescue organizations. I have saved animals lives...ask me about Luciano!. About: I love all animals. I love walking, am playful with them and take them to parks etc. I had a German Pointer, Vita, from puppy til her death. She was extremely loyal to me. Although I lived with my husband and kids, I was her person. Overall, I can tell animals are very "attracted" to me and even my friends notice that with their pets. I help taking care of my son's black lab. Im available most of days after 4PM and all day Mondays and Tuesdays. I love walking in the parks and neighberhoods. Your pets will be safe and get necessary care and excersises with me. If boarded in my house I will take care of him like my own pet. No worries. I have an unfanced big yard but I love walking so Id do that twice a day. With your permission I'd take the dog to the parks and hiking trails.

About: I have had dogs since I was a child. Cats since I was in the military and we are a happy home with mixed breeds all loving and living under one roof. I have a flexible schedule I have one pup daily I am fully committed to walking around lunchtime. Fenced yard. I can drop by and provide walks also. Whatever you need. Cats…dogs…snakes…monkeys…. About: I've grown up with dogs my entire life, and currently have a rescue family dog who I adore. During my time in college, I worked at a local animal shelter for almost 9 months, specifically with dogs. I was trained on cleaning, walking and playing, feeding, etc., so I am very comfortable with what to do. If a dog had specific dietary/medical needs, I would carefully follow the instructions for that specific dog. From Chihuahuas to Great Danes, I am happy to care for any breed! I currently work a part-time job, usually 3-4 times a week depending on the month. Shifts are typically only 4 hours each day in the afternoons, so I am pretty flexible! I've worked with dogs of all shapes and sizes at an animal shelter for a decent amount of time so I am incredibly comfortable with any kind of dog! I take necessary precautions when I know a dog is not friendly with other dogs to keep everyone safe.

About: I have had dogs from 30lbs to 150 lbs and I have loved them all! In my free time I volunteer hiking with dogs at a local animal shelter. And spend the rest of the time spoiling my two fur babies at home. I work remote and have a flexible schedule that can accommodate a wide range of needs during the weekdays as well as on the weekends. My two fur babies are trained to listen off leash, but love to go for walks on leash. One is a couch potatoes that can be trusted and one a wild puppy that is crate trained. So I am used to a wide range of care needs.

About: Hey! My name is Jordan, I have been pet sitting and house sitting for 3 years and babysitting this past year for my friends and family! I just turned 18 so I can finally make an account of rover, but I love animals. I’ve been around all kinds of dogs and cats and can match whatever energy your pet needs, whether that is going on a run, playing fetch, or chilling on the couch watching a show! Truth be told I care more about animals than people. Maybe that sounds harsh, in reality we do not deserve animals but we get the best companionship you could ask for. I’m currently away for school and can explain how much I miss my dog. I’m hoping to pour love into other pets while I can’t with my own ♥️ I am a part time cosmetology student at Aveda Chapel hill. My hours are 9 am to 8 pm Tuesday, Thursday, Friday. Every other day I will be more than happy to spend time with your pets. I live with my 24 yo sister and her husband. They have a dog named Tony who is super sweet. Before being able to watch pets in my home I would have to introduce them to Tony to make sure both parties are safe. if I am watching your pet at your house feel free to ask me to wash dishes, straighten up or do a load of laundry!
