“I am a single mom (my daughter is a 6 1/2 yr old black lab) and I LOVE to travel but don’t do it much because I think “who will keep my dog??”. Well I had an opportunity to go out of town for a few days and had asked several friends if they could keep my dog at their house and no one was available. At the last minute I asked my neighbor Brittany (she has cats) if she would mind coming over and feeding my dog and letting her out for a few days and she was ecstatic and said “of course I wouldn’t mind!”. I left town on a Tuesday morning and returned on the following Sunday eve. While I was gone Brittany not only came over three times a day but she sent me pictures of my dog walking AND she walked her morning, noon, and night! I am thrilled that Brittany is now my “go to” dog sitter and I can go out of town whenever I want without worrying about anything! PS my dog LOVES her!!! If you want responsible, loving pet care, Brittany is your girl!”

About: As a family who adores both dogs and cats, we've dedicated over 8 years to teaching our son the importance of pet care responsibilities. Now, with our son entering high school and seeking to learn work ethic and financial management, we see pet care as an opportunity for him to earn and save. While I'll handle mornings and afternoons during the week, my son will join me in the evenings and weekends. Rest assured, your beloved pets will receive the same love and attention as if they were our own. I currently have a small business from home and my son is 13 and is going into highschool next year. I'm available to stop by starting at 7:30 am and in the afternoons and in the evenings and weekends my son will join me. My schedule with my home business is pretty flexible affording me many breaks throughout the day. When caring for your pets, we will prioritize respecting your home and personal space. We understand the importance of maintaining cleanliness and orderliness while ensuring that your pet's needs are met. We'll pay close attention to what makes your pet comfortable or uncomfortable, whether it's their preferred toys, feeding schedule, or favorite spots to relax. “I took my teacup Yorkie to Elaine while I was away on multiple business trips and will never use another sitter. The main reason being that she truly loves animals and is attuned to their needs. She has raised puppies and dogs for over a decade so any obscure need your pet has, she has encountered it. The atmosphere is both fun and safe, my dog loves all the comings and goings of the kids around the house while always knowing she can run to Elaine and lay on her shoulder. She has all sorts of accommodations from indoor to outdoor kennels with a nice fenced in yard and not adjacent to busy roads. Elaine is also a wonderful person to deal with and exceptional professional. I highly recommend. ”

About: I love spending time with beyond-human animals (and plants!) and work on listening to them and their needs. I have experience with senior dogs requiring medication. I grew up with a rabbit, a hamster, a dog, a cat, 2 birds, and more! I am currently a humble guardian of 1 cat and 1 dog. I’m currently an entrepreneur working remotely, part time and flexibly. This is an essential cash flow strategy for me, and I look forward to devoting time to this. I will listen to your and your animal companion’s specific needs and follow instructions carefully. About: I volunteered at Durham animal protection society in the past, and have been pet sitting for 3 years now. I work at willow oak veterinary hospital. Can’t wait to meet your pets! I will fit my schedule to meet your needs and that of your pets! I put extra care, detail, attention, and love into each visit! About: I have had dogs from 30lbs to 150 lbs and I have loved them all! In my free time I volunteer hiking with dogs at a local animal shelter. And spend the rest of the time spoiling my two fur babies at home. I work remote and have a flexible schedule that can accommodate a wide range of needs during the weekdays as well as on the weekends. My two fur babies are trained to listen off leash, but love to go for walks on leash. One is a couch potatoes that can be trusted and one a wild puppy that is crate trained. So I am used to a wide range of care needs.

“Quoron T. would be an excellent dog sitter. He’s the most warmest & caring person that i know. He’s had 12 dogs since he was a child. He loves dogs. He’s just an animal person period. This job would be great for him, as he tries to eventually become a veterinarian. Even though he has his own dogs, getting the experience to care for someone else’s would be great for him. He has a natural love & instinct for dogs.”

About: I have always had a dog in my life. I have watched friends and family member pets for years as well. You can count on me. I will be there for you. Your fury bud is family. I would flexible jobs were I make my own schedule. You can count on me. I would rather watch at the owners home I live in a small apartment and it’s no fun. I would love for you buddy to be comfortable and be in a friendly surrounding.

About: I will take the time to get to know your pet and all of their habits and fun quirks to have the most efficient, effective and fun visit or stay! I am currently available all days and hours of the week for walks or stays. I have recently quit my job and have all of the time for your pup! I have a fenced in yard with no escape routes and don’t use any harmful chemicals in the yard. I have one small pup who enjoys the company of other little ones. Dogs are family at my house and are allowed in all common areas and on furniture. Your dog can either be crated overnight or be free to roam with plenty of bedding options. Dogs staying will require proof of up to date vaccinations for Rabies, Distemper, Bordetella, Leptospirosis and a negative fecal for the safety of everyone
