About: About ten years ago, a friend of mine asked, "Jenny, do you think it's a coincidence that you love every cat you meet or are you going to admit you're a cat lady?" I didn't grow up with cats, so as an adult, when I was confronted with another cat in my friend group or dating partner, I found myself endlessly delighted by each of their quirks. Each cat I have come across seems to be unique, quirky, and alternately fastidious and charming. The one piece of advice a previous partner said that I've never forgotten is "Ru will tell you how she likes to be pet". And that piece of advice has proven its weight every time it's tested. I have a 9yo domestic short hair tabby of 9lbs and she's a precious sweetheart. Recently she's become an outdoor porch cat, which has delighted me as much as it has given me anxious pause every time she wanders where I can't see her. I have previous experience in house sitting a friend's 2 cats while they went on vacations. About: Ive been taking care of animals since the age of 7, i have so much love and compassion for every type of animals. I cant stand an animal to be neglected, mistreated in any way. About: I have been around dogs my whole life. Dogs seem to take to me well. I’ve worked as a junior groomer for a few months and trained my own dog. Not professionally, but he listens and understands. I’ve always loved dogs and been an animal person! I have an almost 4 month old baby so I have been a SAHM. I love to work and would like to help my family more. This way I can be at home loving on my son and also your fur babies! We just moved into our forever home due to my husband being retired Navy. Longest I've kept one dog is for 2 weeks. I love taking care of dogs as if they were my own. Currently live in Durham, NC in my childhood home. I work from home, so I'm the perfect sitter that can entertain your dog while you're at work, away on vacay/trip, or just need some me time. I am a patient person and do have experience training a couple of dogs from not fearing their crate, knowing boundaries within house, and cease whining. I work from home Monday-Friday from 8-4:30 pm. I occasionally have appts and other events on the weekends, including attending church worship service. I'm at home the majority of the time. I have a pretty open concept in my house, but I close off doors to bedrooms and bathroom. I sometimes close off my hallway to keep in a secluded place in case of visitors or go to sleep at night. I take dogs out on leash, I currently do not have a fenced yard. I spend quality time with them and engage often and show plenty of love.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all ages and sizes (as well as cats) since high school. I have two cats of my own, and grew up with (big) dogs. I’m very comfortable with both overnight stays and drop-in care. I also have lots of experience with multi-pet homes. I’m currently working part-time in the summer, and will be taking college classes starting in September. I’m always free to drop in for mealtimes and walks, and either in the morning or evening can provide more in-depth attention. I am only able to work in clients homes, where I can adapt to any environment necessary, from long walks to backyard play to crate training.
About: I've taken care of both mine and my grandmother's animals for many years. I have experience caring for both young and senior cats and dogs, as well as staying overnight to care for animals. My family has had two dogs and three cats, and my grandmother has had one dog and three cats. I have very open availability so I will be able to housesit or drop by to take care of your pet anytime. For housesitting, I can stay overnight and most of the day, but I will leave sometimes during the day to go home and freshen up. I won't leave for more than two hours. I am very accommodating for different personalities. If your pet loves to cuddle up, perfect! If they want some space to get used to me, they've got it! About: I grew up with my dad's chocolate lab and my mother's Westie mix. Two totally different personalities and each wonderful in their own ways. About: While your pets are in my care, they will be treated as if they were my own. I will assist you in training your puppy to master the basic commands: sit, stay, and come. I am retired so your pet care is my first responsibility. During the summer, I will walk in the morning with potty breaks in the afternoon if it's too hot. About: I’ve pet sat my friends animals, and they’ve had so many! Senior dogs that have accidents and have behavioral issues. Exotic pets, of many kids. Every morning, I fill the cat and water bowl in my room, weekly I clean the bowls. For my dogs, whenever my parents don’t feed them cause they are out, I feed them and fill their water. I brush their coats, and try to give them baths every few weeks or so! However the pet parents would like, but I care for what is best for their health. I understand each pet is different and needs different things. I can bathe the animals depending on behavior, my right leg doesn't haven't as much feeling since surgery and cant handle a lot of big pressure.
About: I have had dogs from 30lbs to 150 lbs and I have loved them all! In my free time I volunteer hiking with dogs at a local animal shelter. And spend the rest of the time spoiling my two fur babies at home. I work remote and have a flexible schedule that can accommodate a wide range of needs during the weekdays as well as on the weekends. My two fur babies are trained to listen off leash, but love to go for walks on leash. One is a couch potatoes that can be trusted and one a wild puppy that is crate trained. During my time in college, I worked at a local animal shelter for almost 9 months, specifically with dogs. I was trained on cleaning, walking and playing, feeding, etc., so I am very comfortable with what to do. If a dog had specific dietary/medical needs, I would carefully follow the instructions for that specific dog. From Chihuahuas to Great Danes, I am happy to care for any breed! I currently work a part-time job, usually 3-4 times a week depending on the month. Shifts are typically only 4 hours each day in the afternoons, so I am pretty flexible! I've worked with dogs of all shapes and sizes at an animal shelter for a decent amount of time so I am incredibly comfortable with any kind of dog! I take necessary precautions when I know a dog is not friendly with other dogs to keep everyone safe.
About: I grew up with cats and dogs of all kinds and ages. Senior and puppy/kitten pet care are part of my experience. From long walks, to fun games, to specialty foods and injury recovery, I’ve seen and done it all. Your pets will be well loved and cared for by me. Currently, I have a wide open schedule as I prepare for my next job in the next few months. I can do multiple walks a day or stay overnight with pets. I can offer caring for your pets in your own home and will utilize your resources appropriately and safely. My own home, if truly needed, is in a lovely neighborhood for nice walks, with a fenced in backyard. Currently, there are no other pets in the house.
