“Absolutely Perfect! Mia is a sweet old lady, but barely llkes any other dogs and that was not the case at Bryan's. He has a way with our animals! I hope you have the opportunity to have a similar experience. Thanks Bryan & the Pirate Crew.”

“Marilyn was amazing to work with. She was very thorough and prepared at our initial visit, making sure she had all the right info (including the stuff I hadn't thought of) to take care of our dog. She provided multiple updates each day with plenty of photos. Our dog loved her big yard and all the other friends he got to meet during his stay. It's obvious that she and her family love dogs and treat them like family during their visit. We would gladly book again with her!”

“I have to admit, I had never used rover it was last minute. My usual boarders we're full, but i came across Valerie and her profile made me take that chance. Im so glad i did she was amazing! She sent pics everyday, she made my trip more relaxed and i was at ease. I will use her services again my dogs loved her.”

“Amanda was great with our handsome Finn! We had a last minute matter come up out of state and our regular sitter was out of town as well. Luckily after searching and searching I was able to find Amanda! We have a 7ish year old Doberman who is super loving and quirky and she took such great care of him. I’m so happy that I did not have to worry as she was sending pics and updates the entire time. Finn came home happy and healthy and we will definitely be using her services in the future. Thanks Amanda!!!”
“Camila and Lino are really great! They’re very responsive and kind. It was so reassuring knowing that my girl was safe and with good people. They really care. I can’t recommend them enough!”

“Bailey was just amazing. This was the first time my 11 year old chihuahua has been away from home without me, but the moment I met Bailey I was immediately at ease. She showed kindness, love, and patience towards my dog from the start. She showed me around her yard, and listened attentively as I explained my dog's habits and routines. She sent a text and photos of how my dog was doing during his stay with her. When I went to pick him up, he showed no signs of stress - he was calm and happy upon my arrival. Thank you, Bailey! I would book with you again in a heartbeat.”

“Thank you for taking care of our sweet Finn! We appreciate your willingness to work with a puppy who is still being trained, and giving him all the love and snuggles!”

“Halle and Thomas were great with my border collie mix! I got daily photos of him on walks and at the dog park. Jasper seemed very comfortable with them. I would definitely use their services again!”

“Our dogs had such a great time with Katrin! She has plenty of outdoor space for them to explore and truly treated them as if they were her own. She even mixed their meals with rice bc they had upset stomachs! She gave us plenty of updates and pictures, and our dogs always looked so happy in the photos. We will definitely book with her again!!”

“I can’t recommend David enough! I have a very high-energy, very high-strung rescue dog who is my whole world, and David takes SUCH amazing care of her when I have to leave town. He also sends lots of updates and photos of her, so I always rest easy knowing that she’s doing great! He has a beautiful set-up that provides the perfect setting for dogs to run around and play, but also prioritizes safety and makes sure everyone is getting breaks from the heat, lots of water, etc. A million stars 🌟”

“Rajita did a great job taking care of Tank. It was our first time using Rover. Since it was for a full week and during the holiday season, I was a little nervous. Rajita was very responsive amd we were able to do a meet and greet with her dog in advance of the booking. She sent pictures on a regular basis during our trip and I could see Tank was having fun with the other dogs. We will definitely book with Rajita again!”

“Everything about boarding with Evan was stellar. Great responsiveness, listened to all my instructions, inviting at dropoff. The farm is perfect for dogs! tons of fenced in room to roam. Lumi came home super zen and well exercised. Would recommend!”

“We are so happy that we found Marissa to check in on our sweet cat Spooky while we were away. I’m usually very nervous, and we were going to be very far away for over a week, but after meeting Marissa, we were both very comfortable and confident that Spooky would be in good hands. We looked forward to the photos Marissa sent us each day of Spooky playing, and we returned to a happy and healthy kitty. Thank you for your efficient communication and for taking wonderful care of our baby!”

“Excellent. Desiree is very dependable. She's also great with communication and pics and updates:) She also was really helpful recently when a large loose dog got into our yard - one of my male friends was scared of this dog but Desiree skillfully got the dog back outside our fence with no issues.”

“Kristen was great! She was reliable and took care of our two cats. She sent nice pictures and was super friendly the whole time. Kristen was especially helpful because our wifi malfunctioned in the middle of our trip, so during her next visit she patiently helped me to restore it. 100% recommended!”

About: I’ve had/been around many different types of dogs my entire life. My family would always want me to come over and train/watch theirs animals for them like I was the go to person for anybody who got a new pet. I also use to volunteer at a boarding company to help feed/walk the dogs. I currently do doordash so I can pretty much fit any request in to my schedule. The most amount of time I would be away would probably be around 5-6 hours. I’m a dependable and caring pet sitter who treats every pet like my own. I know how important routines are, so I make sure pets are fed on time, get plenty of attention, and feel comfortable and safe while their owners are away. I’m patient, responsible, and good at picking up on what each pet needs, whether that’s playtime, walks, or just some extra cuddles. I also like to keep owners updated so they can relax knowing their pet is happy and well taken care of.

About: I’ve owned cats my whole life and have done everything from bottle feeding kittens, helping administer vaccines, as well as scooping litter every single day. For many years me and my family fostered cats through Purr Partners and we took care of kittens as well as many spicy kitties. Additionally, throughout highschool I volunteered at SafeHaven for cats and visited their facility every weekend to help clean up cages, scoop litter, as well as play with any cats that needed socializing. Currently we own 10, some of which we adopted while fostering and a few of which we rescued ourselves. Overall, my cats bring me joy and I’d love to take care of other cats as well!

“OH MY WORD!! This was the first time we ever had a pet sitter and Charles was the BEST!! He took care of our PRECIOUS babies all week and posted pictures for us; which was AWESOME!! Your site is AWESOME!! Thank you so much for being there for us!!!”

About: I have been around dogs my whole life. Dogs seem to take to me well. I’ve worked as a junior groomer for a few months and trained my own dog. Not professionally, but he listens and understands. I’ve always loved dogs and been an animal person! I have an almost 4 month old baby so I have been a SAHM. I love to work and would like to help my family more. This way I can be at home loving on my son and also your fur babies! We just moved into our forever home due to my husband being retired Navy. We got married in Hawaii where he was stationed and I grew up. Our neighborhood was military and I would watch peoples dogs, board, check ins, walks. I worked at a doggie daycare and became close with a client who would bring her dog over to me to watch instead. Also, became very close with some people in the neighborhood whom I’ve take care of their dogs and now can say are friends like family!

About: **PLEASE RESPOND IN TIMELY MANNER AFTER RECEIVE REPLY TO REQUEST. GREATLY APPRECIATE IT. 🙏🏾** I've taken care of family and friends' dogs since 2010, starting in Charlotte, NC. Longest I've kept one dog is for 2 weeks. I love taking care of dogs as if they were my own. Currently live in Durham, NC in my childhood home. “Marissa did a great job with my crazy golden retriever, Huck! She was very prompt and did a great job with him despite the fact that he can be a bit of a puller. She was very accommodating and willing to take him on a jog because he has so much energy!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all ages and sizes (as well as cats) since high school. I have two cats of my own, and grew up with (big) dogs. I’m very comfortable with both overnight stays and drop-in care. I also have lots of experience with multi-pet homes. About: Every dog I meet is a companion full of joy, and excitement. I can't wait to be your canine's next good friend! Experience: At the age of 3 I immediately knew I loved dogs. As I grew, I took steps to surround myself with them. For 3 years in high school I volunteered at my local animal shelter taking all types of dogs on walks, bathing them, and working with them. I learned how to deal with dogs who weren't at their best and who had a wide range of personalities. Then, for two years I worked in a veterinarians office as an assistant due to my undying love of each and every dog. I have hosted dogs in my home in the past here on Rover over the course of 3 years, but now I am operating my fish farm, I am happy to drop in for your animals while you are away. I can give long walks, administer medication, drop in for feeding and litter box scraping, house sit, or farm sit (explicit experience with chicks/chickens/horses/fish/reptiles). I look forward to being a companion for you and your animals. I have a flexible routine on my farm that requires about 2 hours of my time every day. I will fit your animal care around those hours. In my home, my dog lives a life of luxury. I have a philosophy of observing an animal intensely and observing what they may need or want. Each animal has a different vibe and needs me in a different way.

For housesitting, I can stay overnight and most of the day, but I will leave sometimes during the day to go home and freshen up. I won't leave for more than two hours. I am very accommodating for different personalities. If your pet loves to cuddle up, perfect! If they want some space to get used to me, they've got it! I'm used to working with animals to adapt to what they are most comfortable with.

About: I’m a licensed attorney and an animal lover at heart. I grew up surrounded by animals, in a home with a dog and four cats. I frequently care for my neighbor and friends’ pets when they are out of town, and have two cats of my own. I also have 3 years of volunteer experience at a no-kill animal shelter, and am comfortable giving medications and handling any special health or behavioral needs. I have experience caring for dogs that require frequent potty breaks due to age or medical condition; as well as those with Arthritis, recovering injuries, or other mobility concerns. Similarly, I have cared for cats of all ages and temperaments, including those with medical vulnerabilities (seizures, kidney disease, cancer, incontinence issues). I have also worked with former ferals, and am happy to care for those who may be especially shy or anxious around unfamiliar faces and disrupted routines. I understand how important it is to have someone you can trust look after your pet. I value reliability and communication, and strive to provide the upmost care. I can’t wait to meet your fur babies! I work fully remote, so I have plenty of flexibility when caring for your pets. I update my calendar frequently, and am happy to work with your schedule. During housesits, I will make your home my base camp so pets will not be left alone for extended periods. I will be sure to communicate with you to ensure your expectations for drop in visits or house sitting are fully met. I’m here for any special care requests. I’ll check in after each drop-in session with plenty of photos of your pet and a rundown on the visit. I typically provide two updates mid-morning and evening each day while house sitting. I always include detailed information about your pet’s activity and behavior, along with lots of photos and videos documenting the day. However, I am happy to provide updates at your preferred frequency. I am always available and responsive during visits should you have any questions or requests.
About: I have had dogs from 30lbs to 150 lbs and I have loved them all! In my free time I volunteer hiking with dogs at a local animal shelter. And spend the rest of the time spoiling my two fur babies at home. I work remote and have a flexible schedule that can accommodate a wide range of needs during the weekdays as well as on the weekends. My two fur babies are trained to listen off leash, but love to go for walks on leash. One is a couch potatoes that can be trusted and one a wild puppy that is crate trained. So I am used to a wide range of care needs.
About: I’ve owned both cats and dogs my whole life, and more recently I’ve owned chickens as well. Starting with cats, I’ve fed and cleaned up after the ones we’ve owned, as well as taken care of the cats and kittens we fostered over the years. I’ve bottle fed them, helped give vaccines, and everything else in between when it comes to raising and taking care of them. I have also helped pet sit many of our neighbors as well as friends cats over the years. We have also owned several dogs, and I have tons of experience with walking and feeding them. We currently own 3; 2 small dogs and 1 big dog, so I have learned how to take care of many sizes of dog. Like with cats, I’ve also walked and fed my neighbors dogs many times when they’ve gone out of town. Lastly, we’ve raised more chickens than I can count in the past 7ish years, and I’ve taken care of chicks we got from breeders, as well as chicks born from our own hens and roosters. All of our chickens free range and are egg layers, so I treat them like any other pet and not like livestock. I have experience feeding them, fending off hawks and other predators, putting them to bed every night, as well as animal-proofing the coops themselves. For almost my whole life, I’ve helped feed our cats and scooped their litter just about every day. I also walk and feed each of our dogs throughout the day. Finally, I feed and put up our chickens many times throughout each week. I follow any instructions my clients may have and can cater to their pets needs. I love on and treat others pets the same way I would with my own, and have done so for neighbors, family, friends, as well as many others.
About: Hi! I’m Nicole. I know and understand the fear and uncertainty of leaving your babies while you’re away from home. I would love to take care of them and reassure you of their comfort and safety while you’re away. I have 2 cats of my own but love dogs just as much! I work a 9-5 in Raleigh Monday through Friday so have limited drop in capabilities during the week. However, i’m available for weeknight/weekend stays or weekend drop-ins! I can stay at your place and keep your dog or cat company throughout the week or drop in throughout the weekend to feed, water, clean up litter boxes and play!
“Kelsey did an incredible job taking care of our dog Winston. She was very caring, responsible, and kept us updated with messages and pictures, which gave us so much peace of mind. Winston was happy and comfortable with her, and we could tell he was well loved. We truly appreciate her help and would highly recommend her to anyone needing a trustworthy dog sitter.”

About: I bring lifelong experience in canine care, beginning in childhood and continuing through the present. I currently care for five dogs and have extensive hands-on experience managing multiple dogs at once, including the care of three litters and several additional dogs in the past. I am available seven days a week with flexible hours. At this time, I am seeking a position that offers flexibility rather than a full-time commitment, and I am eager to pursue work that aligns with my experience and interests. If needed, I am able to safely crate your dog or place them in a designated area. I am experienced in handling dogs that are uncomfortable walking on a leash and can manage them calmly and confidently. I also ensure that all basic needs are met before departure, including providing food and fresh water.
About: Hi! I’m Cassidy, an experienced animal care professional with 5 years of hands-on experience working with dogs, cats, and animals of all personalities and needs. I worked as an Animal Shelter Attendant for several months and also worked as a Veterinary Assistant for over 4 and a half years, where I gained experience handling medications, monitoring health concerns, and providing compassionate care in fast-paced environments. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets, and I treat every animal like they’re my own. Whether your pet needs long walks, playtime, medication administration, extra patience, or just lots of love and attention, I’m committed to making them feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. I’m reliable, attentive, and experienced with pets of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your furry family members! Able to sit for your pets any weekdays/Saturday, 7 AM-8PM. Overnight is situational but can potentially be worked in! I offer walking/bathing/nail trimming/administering medications (both oral and injectable)/playtime/and of course feeding. I care for my clients’ pets with the same attention, patience, and compassion that I would give my own animals. I make sure each pet’s routine is followed closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications, and any special instructions to help them feel comfortable and secure while their owner is away.
