About: I have been around dogs my whole life. Dogs seem to take to me well. I’ve worked as a junior groomer for a few months and trained my own dog. Not professionally, but he listens and understands. I’ve always loved dogs and been an animal person! I have an almost 4 month old baby so I have been a SAHM. I love to work and would like to help my family more. This way I can be at home loving on my son and also your fur babies! We just moved into our forever home due to my husband being retired Navy. We got married in Hawaii where he was stationed and I grew up. Our neighborhood was military and I would watch peoples dogs, board, check ins, walks. I worked at a doggie daycare and became close with a client who would bring her dog over to me to watch instead. Also, became very close with some people in the neighborhood whom I’ve take care of their dogs and now can say are friends like family!

About: I’m a licensed attorney and an animal lover at heart. I grew up surrounded by animals, in a home with a dog and four cats. I frequently care for my neighbor and friends’ pets when they are out of town, and have two cats of my own. I also have 3 years of volunteer experience at a no-kill animal shelter, and am comfortable giving medications and handling any special health or behavioral needs. I have experience caring for dogs that require frequent potty breaks due to age or medical condition; as well as those with Arthritis, recovering injuries, or other mobility concerns. Similarly, I have cared for cats of all ages and temperaments, including those with medical vulnerabilities (seizures, kidney disease, cancer, incontinence issues). I have also worked with former ferals, and am happy to care for those who may be especially shy or anxious around unfamiliar faces and disrupted routines. I understand how important it is to have someone you can trust look after your pet. I value reliability and communication, and strive to provide the upmost care. I can’t wait to meet your fur babies! I work fully remote, so I have plenty of flexibility when caring for your pets. I update my calendar frequently, and am happy to work with your schedule. During housesits, I will make your home my base camp so pets will not be left alone for extended periods. I will be sure to communicate with you to ensure your expectations for drop in visits or house sitting are fully met. I’m here for any special care requests. I’ll check in after each drop-in session with plenty of photos of your pet and a rundown on the visit. I typically provide two updates mid-morning and evening each day while house sitting. I always include detailed information about your pet’s activity and behavior, along with lots of photos and videos documenting the day. However, I am happy to provide updates at your preferred frequency. I am always available and responsive during visits should you have any questions or requests.

About: Hi All, My name is Alessandria but I prefer to be called Alekx and no the K is not a typo. My hair color is subject to change but it's just dyed hair braided into my natural hair. I have been caring for animals professionally since 2006, until 2013 where I took a leap in a different field of work. I use to move all over the country but I am home and hoping to start pet sitting as my main job. I have a guinea pig by the named Tikka Teacake and she is a little siren but she is my 3rd guinea pig. I am a non-smoker and prefer days curled up with fluffy creatures and a good book. In regards to my experience I have worked at pets resorts such as Sunny Acres where I had a few loyal dogs that I dearly miss. I have owned large dog breeds my whole life and grew up with pure breed Rottweilers, German Shepherd mixes, and my current lovely mutt. I have been doing home pet sitting for over a decade. I usually spend most the day when I am at home entertaining my pets or letting them have free run of the backyard with regular check ins. I make sure that their food is good for their stomach, their daily exercise if playing outside with a normal dose of petting and grooming. I recently got off of medical leave so I have started short nightly walks and we work out together to stay happy and healthy. I am a big night owl so I love watching my dogs snore about. A safe home is one your pet recognizes as the pack den. I care for all pets with repetitive training, health care checks, grooming, and dental care as long as they will let me. I love to make a home pet safe by avoiding choking hazards and loose cables. (Mainly because my guinea pig is a little menace). Medications are taken with timers and usually snuck into foods. I like keeping basic training habits are maintained so that the pets do not unlearn anything their humans have taught them.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all ages and sizes (as well as cats) since high school. I have two cats of my own, and grew up with (big) dogs. I’m very comfortable with both overnight stays and drop-in care. I also have lots of experience with multi-pet homes. I’m currently working part-time in the summer, and will be taking college classes starting in September. I’m always free to drop in for mealtimes and walks, and either in the morning or evening can provide more in-depth attention. I am only able to work in clients homes, where I can adapt to any environment necessary, from long walks to backyard play to crate training.

About: While your pets are in my care, they will be treated as if they were my own. I will assist you in training your puppy to master the basic commands: sit, stay, and come. I am retired so your pet care is my first responsibility. During the summer, I will walk in the morning with potty breaks in the afternoon if it's too hot. During winter, if the weather doesn't permit driving, I will contact you and ensure that as soon as I can drive, I will be there to give your pet much-needed potty breaks and playtime. I would love to take care of them and reassure you of their comfort and safety while you’re away. I have 2 cats of my own but love dogs just as much! I work a 9-5 in Raleigh Monday through Friday so have limited drop in capabilities during the week. However, i’m available for weeknight/weekend stays or weekend drop-ins! I can stay at your place and keep your dog or cat company throughout the week or drop in throughout the weekend to feed, water, clean up litter boxes and play!

About: I’ve pet sat my friends animals, and they’ve had so many! Senior dogs that have accidents and have behavioral issues. Exotic pets, of many kids. Every morning, I fill the cat and water bowl in my room, weekly I clean the bowls. For my dogs, whenever my parents don’t feed them cause they are out, I feed them and fill their water. I brush their coats, and try to give them baths every few weeks or so! However the pet parents would like, but I care for what is best for their health. I understand each pet is different and needs different things. I can bathe the animals depending on behavior, my right leg doesn't haven't as much feeling since surgery and cant handle a lot of big pressure.

About: I have always had a dog in my life. I have watched friends and family member pets for years as well. You can count on me. I will be there for you. Your fury bud is family. I would flexible jobs were I make my own schedule. You can count on me. I would rather watch at the owners home I live in a small apartment and it’s no fun. About: I have had dogs from 30lbs to 150 lbs and I have loved them all! In my free time I volunteer hiking with dogs at a local animal shelter. And spend the rest of the time spoiling my two fur babies at home. I work remote and have a flexible schedule that can accommodate a wide range of needs during the weekdays as well as on the weekends. My two fur babies are trained to listen off leash, but love to go for walks on leash. One is a couch potatoes that can be trusted and one a wild puppy that is crate trained. So I am used to a wide range of care needs.

Whether your pet needs long walks, playtime, medication administration, extra patience, or just lots of love and attention, I’m committed to making them feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. Able to sit for your pets any weekdays/Saturday, 7 AM-8PM. Overnight is situational but can potentially be worked in! I offer walking/bathing/nail trimming/administering medications (both oral and injectable)/playtime/and of course feeding.
