Doggy Day Care in Stem

About: I have been around dogs my whole life. Dogs seem to take to me well. I’ve worked as a junior groomer for a few months and trained my own dog. Not professionally, but he listens and understands. I’ve always loved dogs and been an animal person! I have an almost 4 month old baby so I have been a SAHM. I love to work and would like to help my family more. This way I can be at home loving on my son and also your fur babies! We just moved into our forever home due to my husband being retired Navy. We got married in Hawaii where he was stationed and I grew up. Our neighborhood was military and I would watch peoples dogs, board, check ins, walks. I worked at a doggie daycare and became close with a client who would bring her dog over to me to watch instead. Also, became very close with some people in the neighborhood whom I’ve take care of their dogs and now can say are friends like family!

Loki is good with people but sometimes takes a minute to warm up to them, when I came to pick him up he was giving Siobhoan and her husband lots of kisses and I could tell he really liked them as well!!! Longest I've kept one dog is for 2 weeks. I love taking care of dogs as if they were my own. Currently live in Durham, NC in my childhood home. I work from home, so I'm the perfect sitter that can entertain your dog while you're at work, away on vacay/trip, or just need some me time. I am a patient person and do have experience training a couple of dogs from not fearing their crate, knowing boundaries within house, and cease whining. I work from home Monday-Friday from 8-4:30 pm. I occasionally have appts and other events on the weekends, including attending church worship service. I'm at home the majority of the time. I have a pretty open concept in my house, but I close off doors to bedrooms and bathroom. I sometimes close off my hallway to keep in a secluded place in case of visitors or go to sleep at night. I take dogs out on leash, I currently do not have a fenced yard. I spend quality time with them and engage often and show plenty of love.

About: I’ve hosted and cared for friends’ dogs on my farm, Laurel Branch Gardens, for the last 16 years. I have my own dog, Brin, and an indoor cat named June. I live and work on the farm full time, so your dog will have regular access to four fenced acres to run and play. Hello I’m Evan and I live and work on my farm full time so your dog will be able to enjoy the outside and come inside regularly along with my dog, Brin. A couple of days a week I leave to drop off and pick up my kids from school or sports, but I’m on the farm most of the time. I have four acres fenced around the farmhouse for your dog to run and play with mine, plus a 7 acre fenced pasture where the dogs can go if/when they’re accustomed to the pot belly pigs. My dog Brin is a playful four year old lab/hound mix that loves meeting new friends. The dogs can come and go from the house, so your pup will have a lot of time to run, but will be safe and in the house as needed.

About: I have owned Rottweilers and Bulldogs that have become angels that have enriched/changed my life. The unconditional love they provide allows us all to feel LOVED and allows our hearts to sing. They fill the LOVE tanks without any hidden agendas! We have recently relocated to Durham from Washington and currently have the time to explore the freedom, flexibility and FUN with pet sitting with Rover. We have a big beautiful, fenced back yard to allow the space needed for dogs to roam and a lovely home without carpet. Cozy, warm and safe for your loving pup/dog.
