“Teri is awesome! My doggo is a little quirky with his behaviors and Teri was great with learning and navigating those. My dog is slow to warm up to people and I think he sniffed out Teri's awesomeness as he warmed up to her quickly and treats her like shes in the pack. She's a great communicator and sent lots of pupdates. Thankyou Teri!”

“Anitra was so supportive in taking my pup for an early drop off, it was great to see Sydney at the dog park right next to her home while I was studying for a big exam. Highly recommend her!”

“Potato can require some help managing his energy and engaging appropriately in new situations. David talked us through his ideas of plans A and B and kept us updated. Thanks to his careful attention, Potato ended up having a fantastic day. He came home happy, relaxed, and absolutely exhausted! A raging success.”

About: As a lifelong pet owner, I bring genuine expertise and a stress-free approach to caring for your furry family members. I'm comfortable with pets at every life stage, from energetic puppies learning the ropes to senior companions needing extra TLC. My experience includes administering various medications (pills, liquids, topicals), managing different temperaments and energy levels, and providing the kind of attentive, calm presence that helps pets feel safe and relaxed. Whether your dog needs multiple daily walks, your senior cat requires medication, or your puppy is still learning house manners, I adapt seamlessly to each pet's unique needs. I understand that leaving your pet can be stressful, so I prioritize clear communication and reliability. You'll get updates that give you peace of mind, and your pet will get the patient, experienced care they deserve. I currently have a very flexible schedule, which means I can provide the kind of attentive, unhurried care that pets thrive on. I'm home most weekends and available throughout the week, so I can easily accommodate multiple daily walks, playtime, or just keeping your pet company. This flexibility also means I can adapt to your pet's specific needs—whether that's morning and evening walks, midday check-ins for puppies or senior dogs, or simply being present for pets who don't do well alone for long stretches. I'm not rushing between obligations, so your pet gets my full attention and patience. I love building routines around the pets I care for rather than squeezing them into a packed schedule. Whether your dog needs three walks a day or your cat requires medication at specific times, I can make it work seamlessly. How I Care for Pets: I treat every pet in my care as I would my own with patience, attention, and respect for their individual routines and needs. In your home: I maintain your pet's regular schedule as closely as possible, from feeding times to walk routes to bedtime rituals. I'll keep your home secure, bring in mail, water plants if needed, and send you photo updates so you can see your pet is happy and comfortable in their own space. In my home: Your pet will have a calm, safe environment with plenty of attention and supervision. I keep a structured routine that helps pets settle in quickly, with designated spaces for eating, sleeping, and playing. I'm mindful of introducing pets gradually and ensuring they're comfortable before mixing with other animals. For all services: I'm attentive to body language and behavior changes, so I can address any concerns quickly—whether that's anxiety, digestive issues, or just needing extra cuddles. Medication administration is handled reliably and on schedule. I communicate proactively, especially if anything seems off or if I just want to share a cute moment. My goal is simple: you return to a happy, healthy pet, and I've made both your lives a little easier while you were apart.
About: What sets myself and my partner David apart is the genuine love, experience, and daily presence we offer every pet we care for. My partner and I work from home daily which means your pet gets plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. With us, your pet won’t just be looked after—they’ll be loved. Pet care fits seamlessly into our daily routine. I work remotely full-time, and my husband David works hybrid, which means me of us will always be home and available throughout the day to give pets the attention, love, and care they need. We love having animals around and enjoy including them in our daily lives—whether that’s playtime, walks, or just relaxing together. With our playful 1.5-year-old Doberman and a lifetime of experience caring for pets. We create a calm, consistent environment they can feel safe in. Your pet’s safety and comfort are our top priorities. We provide a secure, pet-friendly environment with a fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor play and potty breaks. Our neighborhood is quiet and perfect for daily walks, and there’s a dog park just half a mile away for pups who love to play and socialize. Our own dog—a friendly and playful 1.5-year-old Doberman—loves having company and gets along well with others. You can trust that your dog will be cared for in a loving home where they’ll feel safe, engaged, and treated like part of the family.
“Camila and Lino were great sitters. Great backyard for playtime that wore out my dog. Were very responsive to coordinate pick up/drop off times. Would highly recommend.”

About: I’m a lifelong dog owner and true animal lover who has been caring for dogs for as long as I can remember. I’ve pet sat for many dogs over the years—of all sizes, ages, and personalities—and I understand how important it is to have someone you trust with your dog. As a dog parent myself, I treat every dog in my care as if they were my own, focusing on patience, safety, routine, and lots of affection. My goal is to make sure your dog feels comfortable, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I work from home with a very flexible schedule and have few meetings or regular obligations outside the house. I share my home with a friendly three-year-old dog and a two-year-old cat—both are well socialized, and my dog especially loves playing with other dogs. Because I’m home most of the day, I can provide attentive, consistent care and easily accommodate additional dogs. Safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I have a fully fenced backyard for secure outdoor time, and I’m happy to crate dogs overnight or when I step out of the house if that’s part of their routine or needed for safety. When appropriate, I can also bring dogs with me on errands so they’re not left alone. I live on a quiet dead-end cul-de-sac that’s ideal for calm walks, and I’m also close to Forest Hills Park for longer, more enriching walks and exercise.
About: **PLEASE RESPOND IN TIMELY MANNER AFTER RECEIVE REPLY TO REQUEST. GREATLY APPRECIATE IT. 🙏🏾** I've taken care of family and friends' dogs since 2010, starting in Charlotte, NC. Longest I've kept one dog is for 2 weeks. I love taking care of dogs as if they were my own. Currently live in Durham, NC in my childhood home. I work from home, so I'm the perfect sitter that can entertain your dog while you're at work, away on vacay/trip, or just need some me time. I am a patient person and do have experience training a couple of dogs from not fearing their crate, knowing boundaries within house, and cease whining. I work from home Monday-Friday from 8-4:30 pm. I occasionally have appts and other events on the weekends, including attending church worship service. I'm at home the majority of the time. I have a pretty open concept in my house, but I close off doors to bedrooms and bathroom. I sometimes close off my hallway to keep in a secluded place in case of visitors or go to sleep at night. I take dogs out on leash, I currently do not have a fenced yard. I spend quality time with them and engage often and show plenty of love.
“Jade was warm, professional, and provided attentive, loving care, and maintaining my dog’s routine perfectly. When I returned, my dog was happy and well-exercised, having formed a wonderful bond with Jade. I highly recommend Jade to anyone seeking a fantastic dog sitter!”

About: Being a good dog boarder means providing a clean, safe, and comfortable environment where dogs feel secure and cared for, even in kennels. It’s important to maintain a consistent routine, offer plenty of attention, and monitor each dog’s behavior and health closely. Clean kennels, fresh water, proper feeding, and regular exercise help ensure that dogs stay happy and healthy while away from home. Working from home allows me to easily incorporate pet care into my daily routine. I can provide regular feeding, bathroom breaks, and playtime throughout the day, ensuring pets get consistent attention and supervision while maintaining a flexible work schedule. I currently have two fenced yards. I do own multiple dogs of my own, but your dog will be separated and its own area. Dogs go out frequently and will have entertainment in our care and will be supervised.

“My dog Chloe has stayed with David several times, and each time has been fantastic! Chloe loves David and gets excited when we pull into their driveway. She always comes home happy and tired. David sends the best pictures, and Chloe always looks like she is having a blast. I haven't actually used any other dog sitter on Rover because David is just that great.”

About: Have had at least 1 pet for over 25 years. Wife and I are recent empty nesters that went from having 4 cats and 2 dogs to a Lab and 1 cat when the last of our 4 kids moved out. We love all animals and will treat them like our own. I am a public school teacher, so I am fortunate enough to have summers off. So my availability is very open even a short notice. We have a dog park for them to play at our place. Our Labrador Bailey will be put in crate until they get acquainted if needed. Bailey is friendly as can be, however I know animals can get nervous in new environments.
