She came back a different puppy -- playful, relaxed, and noticeably less anxious around other dogs. David was a godsend and we can't recommend him highly enough!”

About: Hello, my senior dog of 14 years passed away recently, so I am looking to get my pup fix in while also helping you out! You can expect an attentive, caring and fun foster environment when your pet stays with me. I am an active individual who works from home and doesnt mind stepping out of the house 3 to 4 times a day to exercise and play with your pets! I currently live a block away from Duke's east campus, so your pup will have access to beautiful walks around the East Campus loop, the Trinity Park neighborhood, and the Eno River state park, if they are up for it! 🤠 I also have plenty of dog toys, dog beds, and a kennel if your dog is crate trained and prefers to sleep in a crate! I currently work from home, so your pet will have unlimited access to myself and my apartment while we stay together! As mentioned above, I love being active with pets, so whatever your animals outdoor needs are, Im sure that I can fill them! I have easy access to Duke's East Campus loop, the Trinity Park Neighborhood, and the Eno River state park for all play and exercise needs. I am a physically active person, and would love to take your pet out as much as they desire! I do have a kennel available for dogs who prefer to be crated, and if not, I have free roam dog beds, couches and human beds available for all pets who enjoy them!

“Jack loves to visit Amanda! Our six month old Australian Cattle Dog gets excited when he realizes we are near to Amanda’s place. He get to play with other dogs and returns home tired and happy. He will continue to have “play days at Amanda’s “ because he enjoys it so much.”

Over the years, I’ve cared for many dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and needs, and I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care. I have a large, fully fenced yard that gives dogs plenty of room to run, play, and explore safely. I’m very observant and hands-on, so pet parents can feel confident that their dogs will receive lots of attention, supervision, exercise, and affection throughout their stay. I work from home and have plenty of time and attention to give to your dog(s). I wake up early so we can get outside before it gets too hot. Happy for short or long stays! I have an acre fenced yard that is reinforced every few inches that is full of fun and smells and space to run. They will always be supervised, and indoors there is lots of cozy spots to lay and/or cuddle.

About: I have been around dogs my whole life. Dogs seem to take to me well. I’ve worked as a junior groomer for a few months and trained my own dog. Not professionally, but he listens and understands. I’ve always loved dogs and been an animal person! I have an almost 4 month old baby so I have been a SAHM. I love to work and would like to help my family more. This way I can be at home loving on my son and also your fur babies! We just moved into our forever home due to my husband being retired Navy. We got married in Hawaii where he was stationed and I grew up. Our neighborhood was military and I would watch peoples dogs, board, check ins, walks. I worked at a doggie daycare and became close with a client who would bring her dog over to me to watch instead. Also, became very close with some people in the neighborhood whom I’ve take care of their dogs and now can say are friends like family!
