About: I've had a dog in my life for the past 17 years and have loved every second of it. Dogs truly are god's gift to man, and I try to do everything in my power to allow them to have the most engaging and enjoyable experiences possible. For the past year and a half, my family has been fostering dogs until they are adopted. Because of this, I have experience watching over and entertaining all kinds of different breeds of dogs with different attitudes and levels of energy, usually multiple dogs at once. You can expect an attentive, caring and fun foster environment when your pet stays with me. I am an active individual who works from home and doesnt mind stepping out of the house 3 to 4 times a day to exercise and play with your pets! I currently live a block away from Duke's east campus, so your pup will have access to beautiful walks around the East Campus loop, the Trinity Park neighborhood, and the Eno River state park, if they are up for it! 🤠 I also have plenty of dog toys, dog beds, and a kennel if your dog is crate trained and prefers to sleep in a crate! I currently work from home, so your pet will have unlimited access to myself and my apartment while we stay together! As mentioned above, I love being active with pets, so whatever your animals outdoor needs are, Im sure that I can fill them! I have easy access to Duke's East Campus loop, the Trinity Park Neighborhood, and the Eno River state park for all play and exercise needs. I am a physically active person, and would love to take your pet out as much as they desire! About: Hi All, My name is Alessandria but I prefer to be called Alekx and no the K is not a typo. My hair color is subject to change but it's just dyed hair braided into my natural hair. I have been caring for animals professionally since 2006, until 2013 where I took a leap in a different field of work. I use to move all over the country but I am home and hoping to start pet sitting as my main job. I have a guinea pig by the named Tikka Teacake and she is a little siren but she is my 3rd guinea pig. I usually spend most the day when I am at home entertaining my pets or letting them have free run of the backyard with regular check ins. I make sure that their food is good for their stomach, their daily exercise if playing outside with a normal dose of petting and grooming. I love to make a home pet safe by avoiding choking hazards and loose cables. (Mainly because my guinea pig is a little menace). Medications are taken with timers and usually snuck into foods. I’m the proud owner of three rescued cats, giving me hands-on experience with different personalities, routines, and comfort needs. I’ve also previously worked as a pet sitter at a hotel, where I provided reliable, attentive care and ensured pets felt safe and at ease while their owners were away. I treat every pet as if they were my own and aim to provide loving, dependable care you can trust. I’m working to pay for one of my cat’s upcoming surgery, which makes me especially grateful for the trust families place in me. I currently work mornings, allowing me to provide pet care in the late afternoons, evenings, and on weekends. I’m dependable and do my best to accommodate each family’s scheduling needs. As a cat mom myself, I know how deeply pets are loved and that they are truly family. I treat every pet in my care as if they were my own, making their safety, comfort, and emotional well-being my top priorities. I take time to build trust, follow routines closely, and provide plenty of patience, affection, and reassurance while you’re away. While in your home, I create a calm, clean, and secure environment where pets feel safe and loved. About: I’ve pet sat my friends animals, and they’ve had so many! Senior dogs that have accidents and have behavioral issues. Exotic pets, of many kids. Every morning, I fill the cat and water bowl in my room, weekly I clean the bowls. For my dogs, whenever my parents don’t feed them cause they are out, I feed them and fill their water. I brush their coats, and try to give them baths every few weeks or so! However the pet parents would like, but I care for what is best for their health. I understand each pet is different and needs different things. I can bathe the animals depending on behavior, my right leg doesn't haven't as much feeling since surgery and cant handle a lot of big pressure.
About: I've lived with big and small dogs almost my entire life; I've house sat and provided day time drop ins for friends, family, and neighbors. Walking, administering medication, social hour at the dog park, and punctual dinner times included. I'm available for care 24/7 this winter! I'm very active, currently on seasonal haitus as an arborist, so I can keep up with any kind of energy level. As a house sitter and dog walker, I center the pet's needs in a support system that also prioritizes punctuality and cleanliness. Keeping pets well cared for while respecting your home and schedule is my methodology.

Our "puppies" tend to be pretty high energy, and they seemed to fit right in with the family. This was the first trip I've been on where I forgot to worry about the dogs and just enjoy our trip, which never happens. The communication, updates, and photos were consistent and frequent, and I felt like they were in amazing hands the entire time. Both Maci and Oakley came back so happy (and so tired). I’ve honestly been caring for animals since I was a child and have experience with a wide variety of pets, including multiple dogs, four cats, a bunny, fish, and three parakeets.
