“Katrin was AMAZING! My husband and I are so anxious leaving our dogs and katrin put our minds at ease immediately. From the moment we arrived, the dogs were clearly comfortable and in great hands. She shared regular updates and pictures, administered our senior dog’s medication, and went the extra mile in every possible way to make sure our pups felt right at home. We’re so grateful for her animal loving heart!”

“Oskar had a great time with David and being with other big dogs and running and playing in the pond. He seemed to really be in his element and what a great opportunity for him to be more active. We got some great action photos of him.”

“David is such a wonderfully friendly and dog-loving guy. Our pup was entertained, exercised and happy while we were away. We appreciated the updates and the easy communication before and during our vacation. It seems that our dog had a great vacation as well! Thanks for caring for our dog and making vacation even more relaxing!”

“Thank you Camila and Lino for taking care of Buckshot. I had concerns about him having separation anxiety and fireworks trauma. They provided the care he needed to get through NYs eve. And no worries about anxiety, they made him feel at home. Not only did we have a vacation, but our dog did also. We will be return customers.”

“Erin and her hubby are amazing! They took such good care of my pup, sent daily pics and vids, and even administered her meds. My baby girl had a great time on her “vacation” and got along well with Lani. I would definitely recommend them and will certainly be using them again! Thanks so much, Erin!”

“Krystene and her family are awesome! My dog Wilbur has stayed with them twice now and we had a great experience both times. Wilbur can have a lot of separation anxiety, so it was amazing to see how comfortable he was with Krystene even after staying with her only once. Would definitely recommend Krystene!”

“Emily was great with our 9-month old puppy, Rosie! We were looking for someone who could handle the extra energy of a puppy and be patient as she continues to learn. This was our first time using Rover and Emily was super responsive and provided great updates while Rosie was in her care. Rosie came home happy and tired from playing with Emily's other pups. We would definitely book with Emily again - it was a relief to know Rosie was in such capable hands.”

“Everything about boarding with Evan was stellar. Great responsiveness, listened to all my instructions, inviting at dropoff. The farm is perfect for dogs! tons of fenced in room to roam. Lumi came home super zen and well exercised. Would recommend!”

“Shawn and Charles are amazing! They cared for our boy Dash like he was their own. Shawn frequently updated me with pictures and videos and let me know that my dog wasn’t eating much and went the extra mile to make him rice and peas to help. They are great communicators and I would recommend them to anybody. They have a large fenced in backyard which was a huge plus!”

If you're looking for someone who will treat your furry friend like their own, Krystina is the one to call!”

About: I’ve had cats for many years, mostly indoor but some outdoor! So I understand the difference in the personalities of the cats and understand they need more patience. I've taken care and had senior cats and newborn kittens. I've been through all the stages and care.

From tiny puppies to large breeds, I adapt to each dog’s unique needs. Reliable and compassionate, I make sure every pet feels comfortable, loved , and secure. I make pets feel comfortable by keeping their routines the same—feeding, playing, and walking on schedule. I use a calm voice, gentle care, and give them attention and affection so they feel safe and happy in their own home and on walks.

“Excellent pet and house sitter! If I could rate higher than 5 stars, I would! Completely satisfied and look forward to employing this sitter again! Communication was amazing, texted updates once per day on our pet! House care amazing, even offered to water my plants — so appreciated! Our cat could not have been happier or more cared for!”

“Rachel is a super sitter! She went above and beyond to help out with some household tasks while we were away. Our cat is always so happy see her. We feel reassured when our pets are in her care.”

“Fred had a long-term stay with David and his family while we were in the middle of a cross-country move. He had a meow-velous time and was returned to us happy and with new toys. Dave's kids treated him like one of their own and Fred loved his time with them. We were so relieved to have a comfortable, caring home-away-from-home so gave us piece of mind so that we could concentrate on selling our house, packing it up, waiting for the new house, move in and unpack -- a two-month process that avoided a lot of trauma for our cat and worrying for us. So happy that Dave was such a good fit!”

About: I've had a dog in my life for the past 17 years and have loved every second of it. Dogs truly are god's gift to man, and I try to do everything in my power to allow them to have the most engaging and enjoyable experiences possible. For the past year and a half, my family has been fostering dogs until they are adopted. Because of this, I have experience watching over and entertaining all kinds of different breeds of dogs with different attitudes and levels of energy, usually multiple dogs at once. With the services I offer (house sitting, drop-in visits, and dog walking) I will make sure each dog gets individual attention, proper care, and of course loads of affection. I enjoy playing with dogs, cuddling with dogs, wrestling with dogs, playing fetch with dogs, taking them to dog parks, and anything else they could possibly desire. When taking care of your dog, you can be confident that your dog will be in a loving and fun-filled environment. I am currently working full time as a graduate student so my schedule is skewed toward weekend booking starting Friday afternoon/evening through Sunday evening. That being said, I am able to make exceptions depending on the specific situation, so please feel free to reach out if you are at all interested! I'm only able to offer pet car in the client's home at this time. However, I strive to ensure pets are as comfortable at home with me as they are with their owners, and try to re-create the home schedule that they are used to with their owner, including meal times, walks and bathroom break, and cuddle and play time. I make sure to keep owners in the loop with pictures/videos and 1-2 updates per day. Additionally, I strive to leave the home as clean and tidy as when I arrived, so the owner wouldn't even know I was there.

“David was an absolutely superb sitter for our 6 month old German Shepherd puppy. Not only did he provide excellent care and stellar communication (we received multiple pictures of our puppy every day), but he went above and beyond to socialize her with other dogs and help her get over her separation and canine anxiety. She came back a different puppy -- playful, relaxed, and noticeably less anxious around other dogs. David was a godsend and we can't recommend him highly enough!”

About: I have owned Rottweilers and Bulldogs that have become angels that have enriched/changed my life. The unconditional love they provide allows us all to feel LOVED and allows our hearts to sing. They fill the LOVE tanks without any hidden agendas! We have recently relocated to Durham from Washington and currently have the time to explore the freedom, flexibility and FUN with pet sitting with Rover. We have a big beautiful, fenced back yard to allow the space needed for dogs to roam and a lovely home without carpet. Cozy, warm and safe for your loving pup/dog.
About: Have had at least 1 pet for over 25 years. Wife and I are recent empty nesters that went from having 4 cats and 2 dogs to a Lab and 1 cat when the last of our 4 kids moved out. We love all animals and will treat them like our own. I am a public school teacher, so I am fortunate enough to have summers off. So my availability is very open even a short notice. We have a dog park for them to play at our place. Our Labrador Bailey will be put in crate until they get acquainted if needed. Bailey is friendly as can be, however I know animals can get nervous in new environments. If coming to your residence I will request and do’s or dont’s to ensure your animal is taken care of up to your expectations and above. I am a public school teacher, so I am fortunate enough to have summers off. So my availability is very open even a short notice. Love all animals and will freaky all animals as if they are my own. We would be honored to treat your animal to a nice vacation as you enjoy yours. My wife and I are retired and have a very flexible schedule. We are happy to accommodate any requests or special needs you may have. We cater to each individual animals personality. We try to maintain and provide care as close to wider the animal is used to in a daily basis in order to minimize any stress.

About: For nearly 20 years, caring for animals has been one of my greatest joys. I have 19 years of pet care experience, including 15 years as a devoted cat owner, and currently care for a flock of chickens and an angora rabbit on our peaceful two-acre woodland property. I offer boarding and doggy daycare in a calm, home-based environment where dogs can enjoy plenty of supervised outdoor time, new scents to explore, and lots of individual attention. Our chickens are securely fenced in their own area, and our rabbit is safely housed in the garage, allowing visiting pets to relax comfortably in their own space. I understand that every pet is unique. Whether your dog loves adventure and play or prefers a quiet place to nap, I’ll work to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. For cat owners, I also offer home visits so your feline friends can stay happy and stress-free in the comfort of their own home. When your pet stays with me, they’re treated like family—not just a booking. You’ll receive attentive care, regular updates, and the peace of mind that comes from knowing your pet is in experienced, caring hands. Pet care is naturally woven into our daily life. As a homeschooling family, I have the flexibility to provide attentive care, supervision, potty breaks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day rather than leaving pets alone for long stretches. We live on a peaceful two-acre woodland property and maintain a home where animals are loved, respected, and considered part of the family. Caring for animals is already part of our routine, from tending our flock of chickens to caring for our angora rabbit. My wife and I are proud to provide a welcoming, inclusive environment for all families, including LGBTQ+ families, and we strive to create a safe, respectful space for everyone. Our 8½-year-old daughter is a budding farmer and fellow animal lover who has grown up helping care for animals with kindness and respect. Together, we’ve created a home environment where pets receive plenty of attention, affection, and engagement. Because I work from home and homeschool, I’m able to adapt to each pet’s needs and schedule, helping them feel comfortable, secure, and right at home during their stay. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. We have a spacious, open home with no indoor pets, allowing visiting dogs to settle in comfortably and enjoy plenty of personal attention. Our property spans two peaceful wooded acres, providing a calm environment away from busy roads and heavy traffic. Our resident animals—a flock of chickens and an angora rabbit—are securely housed in separate fenced or enclosed areas and do not interact with visiting pets. We also maintain a fenced garden area, helping ensure clear boundaries throughout the property. While our yard is not fully fenced, all outdoor time is carefully supervised. Dogs will be leashed during walks and outdoor adventures, and I closely monitor all activity to ensure their safety. Guests can enjoy plenty of fresh air, woodland strolls, sniffing opportunities, exercise, and enrichment while remaining under attentive supervision. For in-home cat visits, I follow each family’s instructions carefully, maintain your cat’s routine, and ensure your home is left secure after every visit. Whether caring for pets in my home or yours, I believe safety starts with attentive supervision, clear communication, and treating every animal as if they were my own.

About: I have been around dogs my whole life. Dogs seem to take to me well. I’ve worked as a junior groomer for a few months and trained my own dog. Not professionally, but he listens and understands. I’ve always loved dogs and been an animal person! I have an almost 4 month old baby so I have been a SAHM. I love to work and would like to help my family more. This way I can be at home loving on my son and also your fur babies! We just moved into our forever home due to my husband being retired Navy. We got married in Hawaii where he was stationed and I grew up. Our neighborhood was military and I would watch peoples dogs, board, check ins, walks. I worked at a doggie daycare and became close with a client who would bring her dog over to me to watch instead. Also, became very close with some people in the neighborhood whom I’ve take care of their dogs and now can say are friends like family!
“Mocha had such a great experience today! Cathryn was kind and made sure mocha felt comfortable and cared for the entire time. I really appreciated the updates and the genuine love shown toward her. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing she was in such good hands. I would definitely book again and highly recommend her services.”

About: I’ve always been an animal lover. I grew up with dogs: German Shepherds, Golden Retrievers, Labs, and Dachshunds. Being observant and responding quickly and naturally to a dog’s body language has served me well. I’m able to read their behavior and learn their habits, which helps them get comfortable around me and know I’m someone they can trust. I’m eager to share my life with pups in need of a supportive, caring environment while their parents are away. I’m flexible, prompt, and highly communicative. More importantly, your dog’s wellbeing is my top priority. I know that owners can get busy, so every stay with me entails all the cuddles, treats, and playtime your pup desires! It’s a win-win-win situation, and you’ll get lots of photos and texts so you can take a peek at what we’re up to. You have nothing to worry about while your dog is in my care, so you and your pup both get a great vacation. I work with small to large size dogs, and can host more than one at a time. I also have experience administering medication. I have a very sweet dog named Haddie, a golden doodle, along with a cat, Cinder. When we do our meet-and-greet, Haddie, Cinder and I will get to know your dog, and you and I can go over anything and everything that’s relevant to ensuring a successful stay! I currently work from home, so I will have plenty of time to play and lounge with your pup! I love any excuse to get outside or take your dog for a car ride. I have a fenced in backyard, along with a dog park close by, for your dog to get lots of outdoor time and space. Haddie and Cinder, my dog and cat, are also here to keep your pup company. I can also crate your dog if that is a part of their regular routine.

About: **PLEASE RESPOND IN TIMELY MANNER AFTER RECEIVE REPLY TO REQUEST. GREATLY APPRECIATE IT. 🙏🏾** I've taken care of family and friends' dogs since 2010, starting in Charlotte, NC. Longest I've kept one dog is for 2 weeks. I love taking care of dogs as if they were my own. Currently live in Durham, NC in my childhood home. I work from home, so I'm the perfect sitter that can entertain your dog while you're at work, away on vacay/trip, or just need some me time. I am a patient person and do have experience training a couple of dogs from not fearing their crate, knowing boundaries within house, and cease whining. I work from home Monday-Friday from 8-4:30 pm. I occasionally have appts and other events on the weekends, including attending church worship service. I'm at home the majority of the time. I have a pretty open concept in my house, but I close off doors to bedrooms and bathroom. I sometimes close off my hallway to keep in a secluded place in case of visitors or go to sleep at night. I take dogs out on leash, I currently do not have a fenced yard. I spend quality time with them and engage often and show plenty of love.
“Camila and Lino were great sitters. Great backyard for playtime that wore out my dog. Were very responsive to coordinate pick up/drop off times. Would highly recommend.”

About: I’m a licensed attorney and an animal lover at heart. I grew up surrounded by animals, in a home with a dog and four cats. I frequently care for my neighbor and friends’ pets when they are out of town, and have two cats of my own. I also have 3 years of volunteer experience at a no-kill animal shelter, and am comfortable giving medications and handling any special health or behavioral needs. I have experience caring for dogs that require frequent potty breaks due to age or medical condition; as well as those with Arthritis, recovering injuries, or other mobility concerns. Similarly, I have cared for cats of all ages and temperaments, including those with medical vulnerabilities (seizures, kidney disease, cancer, incontinence issues). I have also worked with former ferals, and am happy to care for those who may be especially shy or anxious around unfamiliar faces and disrupted routines. I understand how important it is to have someone you can trust look after your pet. I value reliability and communication, and strive to provide the upmost care. I can’t wait to meet your fur babies! I work fully remote, so I have plenty of flexibility when caring for your pets. I update my calendar frequently, and am happy to work with your schedule. During housesits, I will make your home my base camp so pets will not be left alone for extended periods. I will be sure to communicate with you to ensure your expectations for drop in visits or house sitting are fully met. I’m here for any special care requests. I’ll check in after each drop-in session with plenty of photos of your pet and a rundown on the visit. I typically provide two updates mid-morning and evening each day while house sitting. I always include detailed information about your pet’s activity and behavior, along with lots of photos and videos documenting the day. However, I am happy to provide updates at your preferred frequency. I am always available and responsive during visits should you have any questions or requests.
About: I’ve pet sat my friends animals, and they’ve had so many! Senior dogs that have accidents and have behavioral issues. Exotic pets, of many kids. Every morning, I fill the cat and water bowl in my room, weekly I clean the bowls. For my dogs, whenever my parents don’t feed them cause they are out, I feed them and fill their water. I brush their coats, and try to give them baths every few weeks or so! However the pet parents would like, but I care for what is best for their health. I understand each pet is different and needs different things. I can bathe the animals depending on behavior, my right leg doesn't haven't as much feeling since surgery and cant handle a lot of big pressure.
“Alex was on time and Mia was very happy to go out and have a mid day walk. Mia and Alex bonded right away and was so excited to see Alex. Couldn't have asked for anything better!! I highly recommend Alex and will use her again.”

I’ve honestly been caring for animals since I was a child and have experience with a wide variety of pets including multiple dogs, four cats, a bunny, fish, and three parakeets. Hopefully your dog will either have the opportunity to meet/walk/play with me (yay!) or stay in my safe HOA home located in a quiet, dog-friendly neighborhood with great walking areas and a new dog park currently being built nearby. I, Hadassah, can assure you that when your dog is cared for by me, they’ll be treated with the same care and patience that I give my own. 🐾❤️ Pet care fits naturally into my routine since I care for my own dog, Diogee, every day. 🐶 I'm available for dog walks, drop-in visits, and boarding depending on availability. About: Hi All, My name is Alessandria but I prefer to be called Alekx and no the K is not a typo. My hair color is subject to change but it's just dyed hair braided into my natural hair. I have been caring for animals professionally since 2006, until 2013 where I took a leap in a different field of work. I use to move all over the country but I am home and hoping to start pet sitting as my main job. I have a guinea pig by the named Tikka Teacake and she is a little siren but she is my 3rd guinea pig. I am a non-smoker and prefer days curled up with fluffy creatures and a good book. In regards to my experience I have worked at pets resorts such as Sunny Acres where I had a few loyal dogs that I dearly miss. I have owned large dog breeds my whole life and grew up with pure breed Rottweilers, German Shepherd mixes, and my current lovely mutt. I have been doing home pet sitting for over a decade. I usually spend most the day when I am at home entertaining my pets or letting them have free run of the backyard with regular check ins. I make sure that their food is good for their stomach, their daily exercise if playing outside with a normal dose of petting and grooming. I recently got off of medical leave so I have started short nightly walks and we work out together to stay happy and healthy. I am a big night owl so I love watching my dogs snore about. A safe home is one your pet recognizes as the pack den. I care for all pets with repetitive training, health care checks, grooming, and dental care as long as they will let me. I love to make a home pet safe by avoiding choking hazards and loose cables. (Mainly because my guinea pig is a little menace). Medications are taken with timers and usually snuck into foods. I like keeping basic training habits are maintained so that the pets do not unlearn anything their humans have taught them.

About: I’ve grown up around animals my whole life and have experience caring for both big dogs, small dogs, and cats. Back home in Tennessee, I have 2 Yorkies and a Goldendoodle, and I’ve also helped neighbors, friends, and family care for their pets over the years. I’m patient, dependable, and love making pets feel comfortable and cared for. I currently have a very flexible schedule that allows me to work around your pet’s specific needs and routine. I typically work mornings during the week and am usually home by mid afternoon, but I can adjust my schedule as needed for walks, potty breaks, feedings, playtime, and medication schedules. I make it a priority to give pets plenty of attention, consistency, and companionship so they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I always do my best to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed while in my care. I pay close attention to each pet’s normal routine, energy level, feeding schedule, and any special instructions so they can stay as stress free as possible. I’m experienced with walks, potty breaks, playtime, crating if needed, and giving pets space when they need it. I also make sure owners stay updated with messages and photos so they can feel confident their pets are being well cared for.
“Alysha fulfilled my same-day request and their communication put my mind totally at ease. I appreciate her punctuality and promptness, and am grateful she could visit my boy at home when I couldn’t. Thanks, Alysha! 🐾”

About: I grew up living with dogs and have consistently dog/house sat for friends and family for over a decade. I'm a recent PhD Graduate on the job hunt, so I can spend the days with you dog while working remotely I've pet sat throughout the past decade while working and during graduate school. I'm currently searching for a job, so I have plenty of time to spend with your dog during the day I prefer to care for the dog in the client's home. Your dog is already missing you, they will feel more comfortable with me if they are at home

“So professional and helpful!! Highly recommend! David really went above and beyond, taking JuneBug on a nice long walk down along the river, and including lots of photos of her smiling face.”

About: Most of my experience is with dogs of friends or co-workers. I generally keep their dogs at their place where they are most comfortable and take them out frequently for walks/runs or whatever they'd like to do. So long as the dog is house trained and not on the "forbidden breed list" at the apartments I stay, they are welcome to my home too. I've sat a Pointer/Dalmation mix, Maltese mix, Shepherd mix, Chow Chow, Boxer, Cane Corso, and 2 Weimaraners in the past. My fulltime job is a nurse, and I only work 36 hours a week. I don't really consider pet sitting or walking a job because I love dogs so much. Just looking to make some extra income and maybe start my own business someday. I have a laid back personality and dogs tend to take to me immediately or at least stay true to their breeds. Chow Chow was my brother-in-law's dog who barked at me a good 3-4 times before she knew I wasn't a total stranger. Bothered me none.

“We are so grateful that we found such an amazing family to love on our Daisy Belle while we are away. Daisy has extreme stranger anxiety, and they took good care of her despite the challenges she has. She came back home happy and content and we could tell she had a good stay. Highly recommend!”

“Cathy was awesome, and our dog had a blast staying with her. She made sure our dog felt comfortable, ate well, and played every day. I would definitely choose her again.”

“We love having Julie and RG as our sitters and our pup absolutely loves going to stay with them. She always comes back well exercised, happy, and sometimes even better trained! :) They are flexible and communicative and I trust them to make the right call when caring for our EarlGirl!”

“Denetra is a wonderful pet sitter. She cares about both the physical and mental health of my dog. During their time together, she works on his training and he is always in good spirits at drop off and pick up”

“This was our first time using Rover and we were so happy with our experience! Vanessa was wonderful with our dog and sent us updates and photos. We will definitely go back to Vanessa again!”

“We are so incredible happy to have found Emily & Will to dog-sit our Ella!!!! We asked them to take care of our little Chihuahua twice in the last 5 month because we had to go to the Netherlands. Both times Ella stayed over for several weeks, even more then a month the last time and we couldn't have be more relaxed because of the loving care they give all the dogs they take care of. Ella really became one of the pack in their loving home. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. No doubt at all that we will ask you again the next times we need a dog sitter for Ella!”

“Evie & Fritz were so amazing with Lola. They sent me photos throughout each day and gave me updates on how she was doing! She got to play with lots of other dogs who were in doggy daycare with them and snuggled up with them at night! I felt so good knowing my girl was being so loved and well cared for! You guys are the best!!”
