About: I have loved dogs since before my parents finally fulfilled my Christmas wish for a puppy when I was five. Since then, dogs have been a constant in my life and a crucial source of joy and fulfillment. Over the last decade I embraced the adult side of dog love by regularly dog sitting for friends and family and eventually adopting a dog of my own. Dogs have always been one of the best parts of my life and I look forward to meeting yours! I don't have a formal dog training certification, but I think my dog Rafiki would gladly give me one. I adopted Rafiki 7 years ago and he is wonderful. His special talents include spinning his tail like a helicopter and being the first dog that 'non-dog-lovers' actually enjoy. He was not always such a dream though. When he was a puppy he had all sorts of terrible habits that I won't get into (RIP tv remotes, shoes, untoppled drinks). I decided that I needed some help with this adorable rambunctious puppy and signed him up for day camp training with a trainer in Durham. Every day when I picked him up, the trainer would spend 30 minutes to an hour teaching me how to work with Rafiki. He taught me a million things and really opened my eyes on how interact with dogs, how to read their body language, and how to best communicate with them. Though I’m no expert, I’d be happy to reinforce any training or problem-solving you’re working on with your pup. I am also happy to just spend some quality time together making sure their time away from you is fun, safe and enriching. I would love the chance to take your pup on some walks and adventures while giving you the peace of mind of knowing they are in good hands! I have a flexible schedule that allows plenty of time for pet care. I like to stay active and enjoy hikes and walks with our furry friends. My dog is able to come in and out as he pleases. We have a fenced in yard (front and back) with plenty of room to play.

About: Have had at least 1 pet for over 25 years. Wife and I are recent empty nesters that went from having 4 cats and 2 dogs to a Lab and 1 cat when the last of our 4 kids moved out. I currently work from home, so your pet will have unlimited access to myself and my apartment while we stay together! As mentioned above, I love being active with pets, so whatever your animals outdoor needs are, Im sure that I can fill them! I have easy access to Duke's East Campus loop, the Trinity Park Neighborhood, and the Eno River state park for all play and exercise needs. I do have a kennel available for dogs who prefer to be crated, and if not, I have free roam dog beds, couches and human beds available for all pets who enjoy them!

I have owned large dog breeds my whole life and grew up with pure breed Rottweilers, German Shepherd mixes, and my current lovely mutt. I have been doing home pet sitting for over a decade. I usually spend most the day when I am at home entertaining my pets or letting them have free run of the backyard with regular check ins. I make sure that their food is good for their stomach, their daily exercise if playing outside with a normal dose of petting and grooming. I recently got off of medical leave so I have started short nightly walks and we work out together to stay happy and healthy. I am a big night owl so I love watching my dogs snore about. A safe home is one your pet recognizes as the pack den. I care for all pets with repetitive training, health care checks, grooming, and dental care as long as they will let me. I love to make a home pet safe by avoiding choking hazards and loose cables. (Mainly because my guinea pig is a little menace). Medications are taken with timers and usually snuck into foods. I like keeping basic training habits are maintained so that the pets do not unlearn anything their humans have taught them.

About: I’ve pet sat my friends animals, and they’ve had so many! Senior dogs that have accidents and have behavioral issues. Exotic pets, of many kids. Every morning, I fill the cat and water bowl in my room, weekly I clean the bowls. For my dogs, whenever my parents don’t feed them cause they are out, I feed them and fill their water. I brush their coats, and try to give them baths every few weeks or so! However the pet parents would like, but I care for what is best for their health. I understand each pet is different and needs different things. I can bathe the animals depending on behavior, my right leg doesn't haven't as much feeling since surgery and cant handle a lot of big pressure.

I schedule my day around visits, walks, feeding times, and play so each pet gets reliable care and attention. I treat every pet like family. I follow their usual routine for meals, walks, and playtime so they feel comfortable while their owner is away. I also provide lots of attention, love, supervision and updates so both pets and owners feel safe and at ease.

About: I have grown up with dogs my entire life! My family had a wonderful mutt that arrived the same year that I was born, so he was essentially my puppy sibling. He has long passed away but I also have many years of experience dog sitting for my family and friends and can provide references. My current place won't let me have pets, so it will be awesome to get my fix by taking care of your wonderful dogs! I can't wait to meet them. I have a full time Monday-Friday job, but I am available on weekends, and after 5:30 during the week. I can be flexible, and try to accommodate your ad your pet's needs! Safety is my first priority. I will never have company or even food delivery inside of your home, and will never provide your address to anyone else, unless it is an emergency, in which case I will contact you directly first and get your permission to call my emergency contact (my mother)! I will make sure I feed and walk your dogs(s) consistently, and of course play with them and give them attention while you are away. I do not mind doing light housework, and I am comfortable with sitting for more than one dog.
About: I have had dogs since I was a child. Cats since I was in the military and we are a happy home with mixed breeds all loving and living under one roof. I have a flexible schedule I have one pup daily I am fully committed to walking around lunchtime. Fenced yard. I can drop by and provide walks also. Whatever you need. Cats…dogs…snakes…monkeys…. About: I've always enjoyed taking care of animals all of my life. While not being able to own too many myself, I have always opted to taking care of other's pets, whether it be dogs, cats, or something else. I am always happy to see/find new experiences, and am up to the challenge for anything new! I'm taking online classes currently, so my schedule is open after 8AM! If needed slightly earlier, I will try my best to compensate for such a need, as my schedule is very flexible. I live in a townhouse, so I do not have a fenced yard or any of the sort, however, I can provide a quality experience with your pets in attention and exercise!

About: I have loved dogs since before my parents finally fulfilled my Christmas wish for a puppy when I was five. Since then, dogs have been a constant in my life and a crucial source of joy and fulfillment. Over the last decade I embraced the adult side of dog love by regularly dog sitting for friends and family and eventually adopting a dog of my own. Dogs have always been one of the best parts of my life and I look forward to meeting yours! I don't have a formal dog training certification, but I think my dog Rafiki would gladly give me one. I adopted Rafiki 7 years ago and he is wonderful. His special talents include spinning his tail like a helicopter and being the first dog that 'non-dog-lovers' actually enjoy. He was not always such a dream though. When he was a puppy he had all sorts of terrible habits that I won't get into (RIP tv remotes, shoes, untoppled drinks). I decided that I needed some help with this adorable rambunctious puppy and signed him up for day camp training with a trainer in Durham. Every day when I picked him up, the trainer would spend 30 minutes to an hour teaching me how to work with Rafiki. He taught me a million things and really opened my eyes on how interact with dogs, how to read their body language, and how to best communicate with them. Though I’m no expert, I’d be happy to reinforce any training or problem-solving you’re working on with your pup. I am also happy to just spend some quality time together making sure their time away from you is fun, safe and enriching. I would love the chance to take your pup on some walks and adventures while giving you the peace of mind of knowing they are in good hands! I have a flexible schedule that allows plenty of time for pet care. I like to stay active and enjoy hikes and walks with our furry friends. My dog is able to come in and out as he pleases. We have a fenced in yard (front and back) with plenty of room to play.
