Emily and William took great care of Mia. She had regular walks, playtime and photos shared. When our trip got delayed , they gladly extended her stay. We would definitely have them take care of Mia during our future trips

Evie and Fritz took amazing care of my dog, Moose, while he stayed with them for a week. They were kind, caring, knowledgeable, and truly went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable and happy. It was clear from the start that they genuinely love dogs, and Moose absolutely loved his time with them. I also appreciated the frequent updates, photos, and communication throughout his stay, which gave me complete peace of mind. I would highly recommend Evie and Fritz to anyone looking for trustworthy and attentive pet sitters, and I would happily book with them again!

Knowing someone will love your fur baby as much as you do is a huge relief when you have to be far away. Daily pics and updates were great and just what I needed. My fur baby returned happy, healthy, and tired from having so much fun. Thank you Anitra!

So grateful for Giancarlo's excellent care! Our pup does not do well with boarding facilities, but Giancarlo kept him happy and health for over a week. We appreciate Giancarlo's flexibility and frequent updates. We look forward to booking with him again!

This was by far our best boarding experience ever. To start with the set up is perfect and the place is absolutely beautiful with lots of room. So much so that I even asked if they would board humans. Incredibly knowledgeable and incredibly thorough when it came to pre-planning to drop off and communication during boarding and pick up. I especially liked that. They had us bring as much of our dogs stuff from home such as bed and bowls, and that type of thing that way it would not break the routine and we definitely have seen the results since we picked up our pet. Many times when we pick our pet up It takes them a couple days to get back on track but it’s almost like we never even left her. Can’t say enough about the quality of care and people and the place our dog was kept. Will definitely be taking our dog back when we need . I can’t stress enough how enjoyable our vacation was knowing that we didn’t have to worry about anything regarding our pets care.

Tori and her family took such great care of our small older dog who has some health issues including med administration needs and occasional pain due to previous cancer. Everything from getting holly to their home (Tori last minute offered to pick Holly Up and this was a godsend because our trip was last minute and we were trying to coordinate many other things) to start her visit to pick up and updates in between were great. Her sons are very gentle and natural animal lovers so that was not any concern even though our dog generally prefers calm environments. I would highly recommend Tori and her family for caring for your pet!

Ravon took fantastic care of our senior pup. She gave her so much love and attention!! She made sure to fully understand her dietary and exercise needs, which we really appreciate. Ravon definitely provided a safe, home-away-from-home for our girl. She sent us lots of pictures and updates and was very very responsive. We would absolutely book with Ravon again!

Caroline was wonderful. She’s calm and seems very easy going. Our dogs are quite hyper but she dealt with them very gently. We appreciate her helping us, even when our one dog had last minute surgery so she had to administer meds. Definitely would recommend!

About: I work from home, which gives me plenty of time to hang out with your fur baby. I can do obedience training if requested, and all the treats I have are homemade with good ingredients and love:) I have a golden retriever myself. I take her out for potty at 6 in the morning, followed by food time and a longer walk around the neighborhood. While I work at home, I take my dog out to play every 1-2 hours. Five in the afternoon is our dog’s second meal. Then depending on the weather, I take my dog out for a long walk in the evening. I treat my clients’ pets as mine! I never leave pets unsupervised in the back yard, and since I work from home, I always keep an eye on the dog during the day. Treats are homemade with good ingredients and love, but make sure you let me know any allergies your fur babies have.

I wanna say thank you to Lauren she was really sweet. She was really nice. she took care of my dog really well. She had a great time beginning. She was shy but after that, she had a fun time. I’m so happy for her. I can see my dog. She had a great time she made Friend she slept. I will say Lauren is the best pet-sitter. And hopefully during the future, I wouldn’t love for her taking care of my dog again.

Skip had a great time at Amanda’s! This was his first time away from us and we felt very comfortable leaving him in her care. He has a pretty specific diet because of allergies and had zero problems. He also loved playing with her dogs in the yard! We would definitely leave him with Amanda and her family again.

Kate had an important work activity in the middle of Kai's stay with her and it was a bit of a challenge finding another sitter at such short time. She was willing to cancel her work commitment if we were not able to find Kai a sitter but luckily everything was sorted out at the last minute. Thank you Kate for your commitment.

Valerie is amazing with our fur babies. She is and has always has been our 1st choice for 4+ years. On this recent visit, our elderly fur baby was not feeling well. Valerie was quick to notify us (we were out of the country)...and after a visit to the vet, he returned to Valerie. She took EXCELLENT care of our baby!!

There are 1,656 sitters on Rover for Pet Boarding in Bahama. About 93% of Bahama sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you’re planning ahead for holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day coverage for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in NC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
