Doggy Day Care in Culbreth

About: Being a good dog boarder means providing a clean, safe, and comfortable environment where dogs feel secure and cared for, even in kennels. It’s important to maintain a consistent routine, offer plenty of attention, and monitor each dog’s behavior and health closely. Clean kennels, fresh water, proper feeding, and regular exercise help ensure that dogs stay happy and healthy while away from home. Working from home allows me to easily incorporate pet care into my daily routine. I can provide regular feeding, bathroom breaks, and playtime throughout the day, ensuring pets get consistent attention and supervision while maintaining a flexible work schedule. I currently have two fenced yards. I do own multiple dogs of my own, but your dog will be separated and its own area. Dogs go out frequently and will have entertainment in our care and will be supervised.

About: I've been taking care of animals since I was a kid , I'm 45 now, growing up we always had cats , dogs , snakes, even squirrels, I worked for independent animal rescue. I found a hunting dog thatt was pregnant with 10 puppies, starving to death standing by the father of her puppies that the hunter shot in the head, so I took her in , she had puppies 10 days later , I had a infant at the same time she did , I called IAR ,and worked with them afterwords for years, I have 1 dog of my own , and mom has 2 . They all 3 are very sweet. Champ , my dog loves to meet new dogs,so I'm excited to care for your fur babies! 💟💖💗

“My pup very much enjoyed her stay with Annchen for doggy day care! They went on long walks and played fetch and my dog came home happy and the next day was excited for another adventure. Annchen looked after my yellow lab for a few days when our normal dog care was away on holiday. It worked out great! She was very easy to work with and accommodating of schedule changes and some special circumstances. She was excellent with my dog and I look forward to working with her in the future for boarding or doggy day care.”

Longest I've kept one dog is for 2 weeks. I love taking care of dogs as if they were my own. Currently live in Durham, NC in my childhood home. I work from home, so I'm the perfect sitter that can entertain your dog while you're at work, away on vacay/trip, or just need some me time. I am a patient person and do have experience training a couple of dogs from not fearing their crate, knowing boundaries within house, and cease whining. I work from home Monday-Friday from 8-4:30 pm. I occasionally have appts and other events on the weekends, including attending church worship service. I'm at home the majority of the time. I have a pretty open concept in my house, but I close off doors to bedrooms and bathroom. I sometimes close off my hallway to keep in a secluded place in case of visitors or go to sleep at night. I take dogs out on leash, I currently do not have a fenced yard. I spend quality time with them and engage often and show plenty of love.

About: I've had cats dogs and other types of pets my entire life. When it comes to dogs I like to take the lead and leverage my experience taken care of dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. Most dogs are happiest when they have exercise and puzzles and jobs to do. With cats I like to observe first and follow their lead to understand when they would like to play and when they would like space. I work remotely and have lots of time to take breaks for playing, feeding and walks! I schedule my days around engagement with the pets in my care! I have a large backyard and a dog run installed. I also live nearby several large parks that have dog parks. Dogs will get the right number of walks according to their energy level each day. Cats get space or engagement depending on how they're showing their needs. I take introductions of new pets very cautiously, and for short-term stays will likely keep pets separated. When appropriate, I will follow gradual exposure recommendations from ASPCA to help our pets develop positive associations with each other before giving them open opportunity to meet.
