About: 🐾 Welcome to Our Home for Happy Dogs! 🐾 We’re a family that absolutely adores pets — they’re our babies, and we’ll treat yours the same way! Our own furry family includes a longhair Chihuahua we rescued as a pup, a Chow-Chow mix rescued from the woods, and two gentle Great Pyrenees who serve as our lovable outdoor guardians. Your pups will be supervised at all times and safe when we step out for errands. Most dogs love the socialization here — it’s a blast to watch them play and make friends! As a stay-at-home mom, I’m home full-time to care for your dogs with plenty of love, attention, and snuggles. I can’t wait to welcome your furry family members into our home! Our property sits on 15 acres and is home to chickens, guinea fowl, and turkeys. The backyard is fully fenced, providing a safe, fun space for your pups to run, explore, and play. We have lots of dog toys available, so there’s no need to bring extras — we’ll keep your toys safe and avoid any mix-ups. 🕕 Hours: 6am–9pm (Flexible if you need early drop-offs or late pick-ups — just ask!) 🎁 Referral Bonus: Refer a friend who books a stay, and you’ll receive 1 free night for one of your dogs! We’d love to meet your pups and give them a safe, happy, and loving home-away-from-home. Feel free to reach out with any questions — thanks so much for checking out our profile! I'm home full time so we will mostly be here with your fur baby. If we do leave for a playground or errand it's for a short time. I have two dogs of my own for socialization and a crate or separate room if needed if there's a dog that needs a break.

“Brandon is great! He took good care of our cat Garfy again while we were out of town. It's great to come back to a happy and energetic cat and know he felt at easy while we were away.”

About: I rescued my 1st cat when I was about 11 years old. I have always had purr babies since that time - including rescuing a kitten in college. I would give your cats ultimate TLC and of course follow any guidelines you would like.

“What an absolutely amazing experience. My cat was care for, loved on, and I received so many wonderful pictures. I’m always nervous to leave her since she has separation anxiety but she was calm and happy when I got home like I was never gone! Will definitely be using them as my pet sitter from here on out!!”

About: I have helped with cats since I was little. Me and my sister found a kitten in a sewer in Mooresville North Carolina when I was about 7 or 8 me and my family helped to get her healthy and rehome her. Ever since then I have loved cats of all kinds. I have never personally owned one but I have watched neighbors cats while they were out of town since I was about 10.
About: I’ve had/been around many different types of dogs my entire life. My family would always want me to come over and train/watch theirs animals for them like I was the go to person for anybody who got a new pet. I also use to volunteer at a boarding company to help feed/walk the dogs. I currently do doordash so I can pretty much fit any request in to my schedule. The most amount of time I would be away would probably be around 5-6 hours. I’m a dependable and caring pet sitter who treats every pet like my own. I know how important routines are, so I make sure pets are fed on time, get plenty of attention, and feel comfortable and safe while their owners are away. I’m patient, responsible, and good at picking up on what each pet needs, whether that’s playtime, walks, or just some extra cuddles. I also like to keep owners updated so they can relax knowing their pet is happy and well taken care of.

“Fred had a long-term stay with David and his family while we were in the middle of a cross-country move. He had a meow-velous time and was returned to us happy and with new toys. Dave's kids treated him like one of their own and Fred loved his time with them. We were so relieved to have a comfortable, caring home-away-from-home so gave us piece of mind so that we could concentrate on selling our house, packing it up, waiting for the new house, move in and unpack -- a two-month process that avoided a lot of trauma for our cat and worrying for us. So happy that Dave was such a good fit!”

About: I have been around dogs my whole life. Dogs seem to take to me well. I’ve worked as a junior groomer for a few months and trained my own dog. Not professionally, but he listens and understands. I’ve always loved dogs and been an animal person! I have an almost 4 month old baby so I have been a SAHM. I love to work and would like to help my family more. This way I can be at home loving on my son and also your fur babies! We just moved into our forever home due to my husband being retired Navy. We got married in Hawaii where he was stationed and I grew up. Our neighborhood was military and I would watch peoples dogs, board, check ins, walks. I worked at a doggie daycare and became close with a client who would bring her dog over to me to watch instead. Also, became very close with some people in the neighborhood whom I’ve take care of their dogs and now can say are friends like family!
“Potato can require some help managing his energy and engaging appropriately in new situations. David talked us through his ideas of plans A and B and kept us updated. About: **PLEASE RESPOND IN TIMELY MANNER AFTER RECEIVE REPLY TO REQUEST. GREATLY APPRECIATE IT. 🙏🏾** I've taken care of family and friends' dogs since 2010, starting in Charlotte, NC. Longest I've kept one dog is for 2 weeks. I love taking care of dogs as if they were my own. Currently live in Durham, NC in my childhood home. I work from home, so I'm the perfect sitter that can entertain your dog while you're at work, away on vacay/trip, or just need some me time. I am a patient person and do have experience training a couple of dogs from not fearing their crate, knowing boundaries within house, and cease whining. I work from home Monday-Friday from 8-4:30 pm. I occasionally have appts and other events on the weekends, including attending church worship service. I'm at home the majority of the time. I have a pretty open concept in my house, but I close off doors to bedrooms and bathroom. I sometimes close off my hallway to keep in a secluded place in case of visitors or go to sleep at night. I take dogs out on leash, I currently do not have a fenced yard. I spend quality time with them and engage often and show plenty of love.

About: For nearly 20 years, caring for animals has been one of my greatest joys. I have 19 years of pet care experience, including 15 years as a devoted cat owner, and currently care for a flock of chickens and an angora rabbit on our peaceful two-acre woodland property. I offer boarding and doggy daycare in a calm, home-based environment where dogs can enjoy plenty of supervised outdoor time, new scents to explore, and lots of individual attention. Our chickens are securely fenced in their own area, and our rabbit is safely housed in the garage, allowing visiting pets to relax comfortably in their own space. I understand that every pet is unique. Whether your dog loves adventure and play or prefers a quiet place to nap, I’ll work to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. For cat owners, I also offer home visits so your feline friends can stay happy and stress-free in the comfort of their own home. When your pet stays with me, they’re treated like family—not just a booking. You’ll receive attentive care, regular updates, and the peace of mind that comes from knowing your pet is in experienced, caring hands. Pet care is naturally woven into our daily life. As a homeschooling family, I have the flexibility to provide attentive care, supervision, potty breaks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day rather than leaving pets alone for long stretches. We live on a peaceful two-acre woodland property and maintain a home where animals are loved, respected, and considered part of the family. Caring for animals is already part of our routine, from tending our flock of chickens to caring for our angora rabbit. My wife and I are proud to provide a welcoming, inclusive environment for all families, including LGBTQ+ families, and we strive to create a safe, respectful space for everyone. Our 8½-year-old daughter is a budding farmer and fellow animal lover who has grown up helping care for animals with kindness and respect. Together, we’ve created a home environment where pets receive plenty of attention, affection, and engagement. Because I work from home and homeschool, I’m able to adapt to each pet’s needs and schedule, helping them feel comfortable, secure, and right at home during their stay. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. We have a spacious, open home with no indoor pets, allowing visiting dogs to settle in comfortably and enjoy plenty of personal attention. Our property spans two peaceful wooded acres, providing a calm environment away from busy roads and heavy traffic. Our resident animals—a flock of chickens and an angora rabbit—are securely housed in separate fenced or enclosed areas and do not interact with visiting pets. We also maintain a fenced garden area, helping ensure clear boundaries throughout the property. While our yard is not fully fenced, all outdoor time is carefully supervised. Dogs will be leashed during walks and outdoor adventures, and I closely monitor all activity to ensure their safety. Guests can enjoy plenty of fresh air, woodland strolls, sniffing opportunities, exercise, and enrichment while remaining under attentive supervision. For in-home cat visits, I follow each family’s instructions carefully, maintain your cat’s routine, and ensure your home is left secure after every visit. Whether caring for pets in my home or yours, I believe safety starts with attentive supervision, clear communication, and treating every animal as if they were my own.
“Kerri and her husband are amazing dog sitters. They sent me pictures and videos during the day and I could see that Ollie had a great time. I highly recommend Kerri and will bring Ollie back when I need another doggy day care.”

About: Have had at least 1 pet for over 25 years. Wife and I are recent empty nesters that went from having 4 cats and 2 dogs to a Lab and 1 cat when the last of our 4 kids moved out. We love all animals and will treat them like our own. I am a public school teacher, so I am fortunate enough to have summers off. So my availability is very open even a short notice. We have a dog park for them to play at our place. Our Labrador Bailey will be put in crate until they get acquainted if needed. Bailey is friendly as can be, however I know animals can get nervous in new environments. If coming to your residence I will request and do’s or dont’s to ensure your animal is taken care of up to your expectations and above. I am a public school teacher, so I am fortunate enough to have summers off. So my availability is very open even a short notice. Love all animals and will freaky all animals as if they are my own. We would be honored to treat your animal to a nice vacation as you enjoy yours. My wife and I are retired and have a very flexible schedule. We are happy to accommodate any requests or special needs you may have. We cater to each individual animals personality. We try to maintain and provide care as close to wider the animal is used to in a daily basis in order to minimize any stress.

“This is our first time using Ashley to let our dog out in the middle of the day. She is fantastic! Our dog is weary of strangers and Ashley handled the situation really well- she went at his pace and spent some extra time with him. She sent a lot of photos and a detailed description of her time with Rowan. I would definitely use her again!”

About: I’ve pet sat my friends animals, and they’ve had so many! Senior dogs that have accidents and have behavioral issues. Exotic pets, of many kids. Every morning, I fill the cat and water bowl in my room, weekly I clean the bowls. For my dogs, whenever my parents don’t feed them cause they are out, I feed them and fill their water. I brush their coats, and try to give them baths every few weeks or so! However the pet parents would like, but I care for what is best for their health. I understand each pet is different and needs different things. I can bathe the animals depending on behavior, my right leg doesn't haven't as much feeling since surgery and cant handle a lot of big pressure.

About: I have grown up with dogs my entire life! My family had a wonderful mutt that arrived the same year that I was born, so he was essentially my puppy sibling. He has long passed away but I also have many years of experience dog sitting for my family and friends and can provide references. My current place won't let me have pets, so it will be awesome to get my fix by taking care of your wonderful dogs! I can't wait to meet them. I have a full time Monday-Friday job, but I am available on weekends, and after 5:30 during the week. I can be flexible, and try to accommodate your ad your pet's needs! Safety is my first priority. I will never have company or even food delivery inside of your home, and will never provide your address to anyone else, unless it is an emergency, in which case I will contact you directly first and get your permission to call my emergency contact (my mother)! I will make sure I feed and walk your dogs(s) consistently, and of course play with them and give them attention while you are away. I do not mind doing light housework, and I am comfortable with sitting for more than one dog.

About: Hey! My name is Jordan, I have been pet sitting and house sitting for 3 years and babysitting this past year for my friends and family! I just turned 18 so I can finally make an account of rover, but I love animals. I’ve been around all kinds of dogs and cats and can match whatever energy your pet needs, whether that is going on a run, playing fetch, or chilling on the couch watching a show! Truth be told I care more about animals than people. Maybe that sounds harsh, in reality we do not deserve animals but we get the best companionship you could ask for. I’m currently away for school and can explain how much I miss my dog. I’m hoping to pour love into other pets while I can’t with my own ♥️ I am a part time cosmetology student at Aveda Chapel hill. My hours are 9 am to 8 pm Tuesday, Thursday, Friday. Every other day I will be more than happy to spend time with your pets. I live with my 24 yo sister and her husband. They have a dog named Tony who is super sweet. Before being able to watch pets in my home I would have to introduce them to Tony to make sure both parties are safe. if I am watching your pet at your house feel free to ask me to wash dishes, straighten up or do a load of laundry! Same goes for housesitting!!
About: Most of my experience is with dogs of friends or co-workers. I generally keep their dogs at their place where they are most comfortable and take them out frequently for walks/runs or whatever they'd like to do. So long as the dog is house trained and not on the "forbidden breed list" at the apartments I stay, they are welcome to my home too. I've sat a Pointer/Dalmation mix, Maltese mix, Shepherd mix, Chow Chow, Boxer, Cane Corso, and 2 Weimaraners in the past. My fulltime job is a nurse, and I only work 36 hours a week. I don't really consider pet sitting or walking a job because I love dogs so much. Just looking to make some extra income and maybe start my own business someday. I have a laid back personality and dogs tend to take to me immediately or at least stay true to their breeds. Chow Chow was my brother-in-law's dog who barked at me a good 3-4 times before she knew I wasn't a total stranger. Bothered me none.

About: Hi there! My name is Hayley and I have an extreme love and passion for ALL animals! Since I was a baby and got my first cat at 6 weeks old, I have grown up in a household full of animals with everything from cats, dogs, chickens, rabbits, you name it, and those animals have taught me so much, enough that I want to give back to the local community and their animals! My specialties are with cats and dogs of any age, though if you have another animal in need of service, I am open to anything and ready to learn! Currently, I have two dogs (Jack Russells who are 2 and 8 yrs old) of my own that I have raised since they were both 8 weeks old. I have knowledge in feeding, medication management, daily exercise, enrichment activities such as tricks, routine care (bathing animals), hygiene maintenance, potty training, and as always, I strive to have strong, reliable communication with owners of your furry friends! I specialize in cats and dogs BUT if you are need of services for another animal, please dont hesitate to reach out as I am willing to help, learn whatever I need to, and give some extra love to your pet! AFTER August 10th, all services will be unavailable until December as I return to school outside of the area. Please do NOT book past August 10th. Thanks so much for understanding! ☺️ Mon-Sun: 8am-2:30pm (schedule varies but I will try my best to work something out with you!!) Meet and Greets: Scheduled meetings BEFORE desired sitting dates; I come to your home to get to know you, your fur babies, and the required schedule/rules. (I leave this up to the client's preference but I usually recommend it!) (CAN provide services before/after hours when requested!!) *AFTER August 10th, all services will be unavailable until December as I return to school outside of the area. Please do NOT book past August 10th.* Thanks so much for understanding! ☺️ As I previously mentioned, I have two dogs (both Jack Russells) of my own that are 2 and 8 years old. I strive to maintain a clean space and comfortable for my pets where they can relax and follow their usual routines with no worries. I maintain consistent feeding schedules, provide daily exercise and playtime, and ensure their safety by always supervising. They have designated rest areas (although I do allow animals on furniture), plenty of enrichment activities/toys, and lots of affection of course! I also have a large yard where my dogs love to run around and play with toys (when outside, they are always supervised) and a quiet neighborhood that is perfect for walks! I am always keeping my eyes on them, making sure they are healthy, eating/drinking, and exercising correctly. In a clients home is a bit different as this is not my personal space. I tend to follow the routine/schedule exactly as written and complete the usual duties such as feeding, walking, playtime, waste/litter cleanup, etc. I keep the home clean, ensure safety over the property and animals, and provide regular updates and photos to owners during each visit. I always double check and make sure all pets are comfortable, safe, and have everything they need in their space before I leave.

“So professional and helpful!! Highly recommend! David really went above and beyond, taking JuneBug on a nice long walk down along the river, and including lots of photos of her smiling face.”

Our fur baby had a lot of fun and we felt very secure leaving him with Marilyn so we could have a restful vacation of not worrying. I highly recommend her to care for your fur baby. “Valerie is amazing with our fur babies. She is and has always has been our 1st choice for 4+ years. On this recent visit, our elderly fur baby was not feeling well. Valerie was quick to notify us (we were out of the country)...and after a visit to the vet, he returned to Valerie. She took EXCELLENT care of our baby!!”
“Our dogs had such a great time with Katrin! She has plenty of outdoor space for them to explore and truly treated them as if they were her own. She even mixed their meals with rice bc they had upset stomachs! She gave us plenty of updates and pictures, and our dogs always looked so happy in the photos. We will definitely book with her again!!”

“Once again, Erin and Dave have gone above and beyond while taking care of my pup. My dog was well taken care of, loved like their own, and Erin was very responsive during the entire stay. My pooch loves staying with Erin and Dave, it’s her own little vacation!”

“With it being our first time using Rover, I could not be more pleased with our experience! Halle and Thomas were a breeze to work with. I really appreciated our phone call ahead of booking, and I could immediately tell Halle was so knowledgeable and loves dogs so much! “Sharon and her dog Rodeo were so welcoming and good with our pups. Our dogs are a lot of work - they're young and have a LOT of energy! Sharon kept us informed with how they were settling in and updated us with pictures and videos along the way, which we loved! Her house is the perfect size for her to keep an eye on the dogs she's watching and she has a great backyard space for them to run around and get their energy out. She was also very accommodating when our plans were a little up in the air for pickup time and we ended up getting back to town later than expected. We would not hesitate to leave our dogs with her again and recommend her to others.”

“We just left our dog, Mapo, with Emily, and we couldn’t be happier! Emily sent regular updates, complete with adorable pictures that clearly showed how much fun Mapo was having! When it was time to pick her up, Mapo seemed so comfortable she didn’t even want to leave. Emily was also incredibly flexible with our schedule, which we really appreciated. Thank you, Emily, for making Mapo feel so at home! Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, attentive sitter!”
