Me and my sister found a kitten in a sewer in Mooresville North Carolina when I was about 7 or 8 me and my family helped to get her healthy and rehome her. About: I have had dogs from 30lbs to 150 lbs and I have loved them all! In my free time I volunteer hiking with dogs at a local animal shelter. And spend the rest of the time spoiling my two fur babies at home. I work remote and have a flexible schedule that can accommodate a wide range of needs during the weekdays as well as on the weekends. My two fur babies are trained to listen off leash, but love to go for walks on leash. One is a couch potatoes that can be trusted and one a wild puppy that is crate trained. About: I’ve had/been around many different types of dogs my entire life. My family would always want me to come over and train/watch theirs animals for them like I was the go to person for anybody who got a new pet. I also use to volunteer at a boarding company to help feed/walk the dogs. I currently do doordash so I can pretty much fit any request in to my schedule. The most amount of time I would be away would probably be around 5-6 hours. I’m a dependable and caring pet sitter who treats every pet like my own. I know how important routines are, so I make sure pets are fed on time, get plenty of attention, and feel comfortable and safe while their owners are away. About: Have had at least 1 pet for over 25 years. Wife and I are recent empty nesters that went from having 4 cats and 2 dogs to a Lab and 1 cat when the last of our 4 kids moved out. About: After a 30 year career in IT, it was time to pursue my passion…caring for animals. I love all animals, big and small and look forward to providing loving care for yours. I grew up on a small farm and have owned one myself for the past 11 years, giving me extensive hands-on experience caring for a wide range of animals including donkeys, goats, horses, cows, ducks, turkeys, chickens, guineas, cats, and dogs. A meet & greet session is required for all new clients prior to a scheduled engagement (free of charge) to ensure the best personalized care for you and your pet. I'm very picky about how my own pets and home are cared for and will ensure the same high standards are provided for yours. About: I’ve pet sat my friends animals, and they’ve had so many! Senior dogs that have accidents and have behavioral issues. Exotic pets, of many kids. Every morning, I fill the cat and water bowl in my room, weekly I clean the bowls. For my dogs, whenever my parents don’t feed them cause they are out, I feed them and fill their water. I brush their coats, and try to give them baths every few weeks or so! However the pet parents would like, but I care for what is best for their health. I understand each pet is different and needs different things. I can bathe the animals depending on behavior, my right leg doesn't haven't as much feeling since surgery and cant handle a lot of big pressure.
About: While your pets are in my care, they will be treated as if they were my own. I will assist you in training your puppy to master the basic commands: sit, stay, and come. I am retired so your pet care is my first responsibility. During the summer, I will walk in the morning with potty breaks in the afternoon if it's too hot. During winter, if the weather doesn't permit driving, I will contact you and ensure that as soon as I can drive, I will be there to give your pet much-needed potty breaks and playtime. About: I have had dogs from 30lbs to 150 lbs and I have loved them all! In my free time I volunteer hiking with dogs at a local animal shelter. And spend the rest of the time spoiling my two fur babies at home. I work remote and have a flexible schedule that can accommodate a wide range of needs during the weekdays as well as on the weekends. My two fur babies are trained to listen off leash, but love to go for walks on leash. One is a couch potatoes that can be trusted and one a wild puppy that is crate trained. About: Most of my experience is with dogs of friends or co-workers. I generally keep their dogs at their place where they are most comfortable and take them out frequently for walks/runs or whatever they'd like to do. So long as the dog is house trained and not on the "forbidden breed list" at the apartments I stay, they are welcome to my home too. I've sat a Pointer/Dalmation mix, Maltese mix, Shepherd mix, Chow Chow, Boxer, Cane Corso, and 2 Weimaraners in the past. My fulltime job is a nurse, and I only work 36 hours a week. I don't really consider pet sitting or walking a job because I love dogs so much. Just looking to make some extra income and maybe start my own business someday. I have a laid back personality and dogs tend to take to me immediately or at least stay true to their breeds. Chow Chow was my brother-in-law's dog who barked at me a good 3-4 times before she knew I wasn't a total stranger. Bothered me none.

I also have a large yard where my dogs love to run around and play with toys (when outside, they are always supervised) and a quiet neighborhood that is perfect for walks! I am always keeping my eyes on them, making sure they are healthy, eating/drinking, and exercising correctly. In a clients home is a bit different as this is not my personal space. I tend to follow the routine/schedule exactly as written and complete the usual duties such as feeding, walking, playtime, waste/litter cleanup, etc. I keep the home clean, ensure safety over the property and animals, and provide regular updates and photos to owners during each visit. I always double check and make sure all pets are comfortable, safe, and have everything they need in their space before I leave.
