About: I’ve owned both cats and dogs my whole life, and more recently I’ve owned chickens as well. Starting with cats, I’ve fed and cleaned up after the ones we’ve owned, as well as taken care of the cats and kittens we fostered over the years. I’ve bottle fed them, helped give vaccines, and everything else in between when it comes to raising and taking care of them. I have also helped pet sit many of our neighbors as well as friends cats over the years. We have also owned several dogs, and I have tons of experience with walking and feeding them. We currently own 3; 2 small dogs and 1 big dog, so I have learned how to take care of many sizes of dog. Like with cats, I’ve also walked and fed my neighbors dogs many times when they’ve gone out of town. Lastly, we’ve raised more chickens than I can count in the past 7ish years, and I’ve taken care of chicks we got from breeders, as well as chicks born from our own hens and roosters. All of our chickens free range and are egg layers, so I treat them like any other pet and not like livestock. I have experience feeding them, fending off hawks and other predators, putting them to bed every night, as well as animal-proofing the coops themselves. For almost my whole life, I’ve helped feed our cats and scooped their litter just about every day. I also walk and feed each of our dogs throughout the day. Finally, I feed and put up our chickens many times throughout each week. I follow any instructions my clients may have and can cater to their pets needs. I love on and treat others pets the same way I would with my own, and have done so for neighbors, family, friends, as well as many others.

“Karena was an absolutely wonderful sitter for us. My Mom and I booked her to watch Travis and Paddy when we went on our annual trip to Kansas City, this time to celebrate her 60th birthday. The week we left, we got thrown a major curveball, as Travis had to be hospitalized for a couple days due to a UTI and bladder blockage. We delayed the start of our trip, and wouldn't have been able to go at all if not for Karena. She was willing to completely pivot to longer daily visits on short notice, and having to give Travis medicine for the first couple days. We were able to have complete peace of mind on our trip knowing that Karena was taking excellent care of our boys. She provided daily updates and took several pictures each day, the boys really warmed up to her, which is no small feat with Paddy! I cannot recommend her highly enough, and we would absolutely love to have her watch Travis and Paddy again in the future.”

About: I have been a trusted petsitter for around 6 years. I grew up with dogs and cats, and work in a veterinary kennel. I have experience with animals of all sizes, temperaments, and species, including reptiles and other exotic animals! I can administer medications from oral to subcutaneous. I also have experience caring for diabetics! I work part-time in a veterinary boarding facility, and am typically available early mornings (before 6:45am) and late afternoons/evenings. On weekends I am available all day. I am able to do drop-in visits 2-3 times daily, as well as walks. In special circumstances, I am able to rearrange my schedule to fit extra visits. I do not board animals in my home.
