About: I’ve owned both cats and dogs my whole life, and more recently I’ve owned chickens as well. Starting with cats, I’ve fed and cleaned up after the ones we’ve owned, as well as taken care of the cats and kittens we fostered over the years. I’ve bottle fed them, helped give vaccines, and everything else in between when it comes to raising and taking care of them. I have also helped pet sit many of our neighbors as well as friends cats over the years. We have also owned several dogs, and I have tons of experience with walking and feeding them. We currently own 3; 2 small dogs and 1 big dog, so I have learned how to take care of many sizes of dog. Like with cats, I’ve also walked and fed my neighbors dogs many times when they’ve gone out of town. Lastly, we’ve raised more chickens than I can count in the past 7ish years, and I’ve taken care of chicks we got from breeders, as well as chicks born from our own hens and roosters. All of our chickens free range and are egg layers, so I treat them like any other pet and not like livestock. I have experience feeding them, fending off hawks and other predators, putting them to bed every night, as well as animal-proofing the coops themselves. For almost my whole life, I’ve helped feed our cats and scooped their litter just about every day. I also walk and feed each of our dogs throughout the day. Finally, I feed and put up our chickens many times throughout each week. I follow any instructions my clients may have and can cater to their pets needs. I love on and treat others pets the same way I would with my own, and have done so for neighbors, family, friends, as well as many others.

“We have 2 6-month-old kittens, and this is the first time we have left them alone. This was also our first time using Rover, and we were very nervous as we would be 5 hours away if something went wrong. Marissa met us prior to our trip to meet Stormy and Shadow. The process could not have gone any smoother. Marissa arrived as scheduled daily and we received reassuring photos which allowed us to enjoy our time away. We would definitely use Rover/Marissa in the future.”

“Brandon is great! He took good care of our cat Garfy again while we were out of town. It's great to come back to a happy and energetic cat and know he felt at easy while we were away.”

About: I have had pets my whole life and still currently have 2 dogs, 2 cats, and a Guinea pig. I have been responsible for cleaning up after them, grooming, playing, and providing their medicine when needed. I have volunteered at multiple animal shelters and have gained knowledge about different temperaments and personalities when working with the many dogs. Also in my time during high school I was one of the more reliable animal caregivers within the students. I am currently on summer break from college and I am available during most of the summer and would love to spend time with your pets while you take a nice vacation with the family! I spend lots of time with my pets at home and make sure they get the loving that they need. We cuddle, play, and even nap together. Within a clients home I would be happy to adjust and give the animal the cuddles they need or tug of war they want.
About: I’ve grown up with pets, a dog and two cats. Pet sitting for my neighbors and watching my friend’s pets. I love animals and I hope they love me! I’m currently in school but my schedule is flexible, although most times I can’t do overnights. I’m available most to the entire day on weekends. I love to work on holiday breaks, whenever I’m free. I am very communicative about any pop up issues or schedule conflicts. I deescalate situations immediately with my cats whenever they fight. I’m good with separating problems but prefer to not work with aggressive or just mean animals.

“Susan is amazing! Super reliable and just all around an awesome person that loves dogs! I will most certainly use her again in the future. Thanks again for taking care of Riley!”

“Julia took great care of our two cats. They are very timid rescues, but they were very comfortable around Julia right from the start. They are also older adult cats with a host of issues and Julia handled each situation very well. She communicated with us daily and very much eased our concerns about traveling a great distance for an extended period of time.”

About: Hi! I’ve had dogs my entire life and have years of hands-on experience caring for them. My mom previously co-founded a dog rescue in New Hampshire, and I grew up helping with foster dogs of all ages, breeds, and temperaments. Through that experience, I learned how to work with shy and nervous dogs, high energy breeds, and everything in between. I’m very comfortable with large and strong dogs. I have a Newfoundland, German Shepherd, and Husky of my own so I understand the structure, consistency, and exercise they need. Whether your dog is big, small, young, or senior, I can confidently provide safe, attentive care. My experience includes walks, feeding, potty breaks, playtime, basic training reinforcement, and of course lots of love and attention. I’m dependable, motivated, and flexible, and I treat every dog like my own. Your pup will receive patient, responsible, loving care every visit. Weekend walks and drop-ins available! Weekday visits can often be arranged with advance notice. I’m flexible and happy to work with your schedule whenever possible. Safety, structure, and communication are my top priorities. I use secure leashing practices, remain attentive on walks, and follow all feeding and care instructions precisely. I respect your home and ensure your pup feels comfortable, safe, and cared for every visit!
“Really glad we chose Rachel to be our first Rover sitter ever; she was punctual, communicated with us during her visits, and went above and beyond playing with our pup even though all she needed was to be let outside to pee. Couldn’t recommend her more highly! Would definitely hire her again.”

“Bailey did a great job watching Bo. She was on time for each visit. She communicated very well. And Bo enjoyed having her there! Highly recommend and will definitely use her again.”

About: I have been a volunteer at the animal shelter ever since I was little, and I have taken care of many friends and neighbors pets. My own dog is 15 years old so I am familiar with all the in between from puppyhood to elderly. Spending time with animals brings me joy, I will take care of your animals as if they are my own! I am a recently graduated college student saving up for a move so I can be available at any times! I enjoy getting outside and spending time with animals. I am very careful supervising pets to keep them out of trouble and harms way. I can handle any size of animal as I have had lots of practice with all sorts of breeds at the animal shelter.
“Paulina was great. She took care of our girls while we were away. Very responsive and sent her check-ins when she was arriving and leaving. Loved that she communicated how they weee doing on each visit. Will definitely use Paulina again.”

Stony Hill cat parents share their Rover experiences
We have used Rover for over 10 years and Rachel is the absolute gold standard. She uses the entire duration of her visit and sends detailed notes as well as mapping our dog's walks. Our pets are very comfortable with Rachel and we're grateful for the detailed attention, care, and kindness with which she looks after them and creates her well documented check-ins. During our most recent booking, Rachel was incredibly flexible with us when we had an emergency while traveling that extended our stay beyond our initially booked appointments. When that extended stay meant the waste bags we provided ran out she not only brought her own for the rest of the additional visits but actually left us two full extra rolls. She truly goes so far above and beyond and we'll always book with Rachel whenever we have the chance!
