Availability
I am available during the day to walk or just visit with your pet. It can be a one time thing, or something more regular to fit your needs. My weekends are generally pretty open as well.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced yard for my two dogs, and walk them regularly. They are friendly with other dogs. I do also own a cat and have many a fish tanks, so boarding isn't something I am open to right now. Playing fetch, going on walks or discovering new routes, and giving lots of love are the things I would give to your pet as if they were my own.
Information Rachel A. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know if a dog walks on a leash well and if they are trained to heel or not, so I can maintain consistency. It is also important to know how they react to other animals or people so I can be aware if that happens on a walk. What is their favorite toy? Best itchy spot? Are they talkative?
A typical day
I would play fetch, brush or give belly rubs to your dog to name a few of the favorites. Play chase in the backyard if that is something they enjoy. Of course walks if they enjoy them. I don't mind going a mile or two. For cats I will give as much love as they will let me.

Pet care experience
Taking care of animals is something I have done as long as I can remember! My family always rescued dogs, and now I have a houseful of all kinds. I have been a pet sitter for close friends and family, as well as for a small company back in CA. My tasks included giving medications to a kitty with cancer, to staying in a home to help the temporarily immobile owner with her huge Afghan dogs. I have also taken care of birds, rabbits, and ferrets. Although I haven't yet, I would be open to helping feed horses or farm animals as well.
Reviews

Rachel did an amazing job. Took such good care of Gigi and put my mind at ease. She was flexible when I messed up my schedule. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !

We have used Rover for over 10 years and Rachel is the absolute gold standard. She uses the entire duration of her visit and sends detailed notes as well as mapping our dog's walks. Our pets are very comfortable with Rachel and we're grateful for the detailed attention, care, and kindness with which she looks after them and creates her well documented check-ins. During our most recent booking, Rachel was incredibly flexible with us when we had an emergency while traveling that extended our stay beyond our initially booked appointments. When that extended stay meant the waste bags we provided ran out she not only brought her own for the rest of the additional visits but actually left us two full extra rolls. She truly goes so far above and beyond and we'll always book with Rachel whenever we have the chance!

Rachel was so kind and easy to work with! She took wonderful care of our dog. She was easy to communicate with and we felt confident that our pup was getting the best care. We are so glad that we found Rachel on Rover!
Rachel was great! She worked our need around her schedule and was able to come three times a day - so accommodating since this was the first time we’ve ever hired a sitter for our dogs and weren’t sure how they’d react. She left detailed Rover cards and took great pictures. It was clear my dogs were in good hands and it really helped ease my nerves. I’d recommend her to anyone and will use her services again in the future.
