She provided several pictures a day and texts to kept me very well informed of the status while out of the country! My dog was clearly happy and made to feel at home in her house and I would very highly recommend Elizabeth to care for your dog if you need someone that you can trust! I will definitely be looking to have her watch Skye on future trips knowing she is in caring, amazing hands!!!! A+++++++++++++. -Bill”

About: Hi! I’ve had dogs my entire life and have years of hands-on experience caring for them. My mom previously co-founded a dog rescue in New Hampshire, and I grew up helping with foster dogs of all ages, breeds, and temperaments. Through that experience, I learned how to work with shy and nervous dogs, high energy breeds, and everything in between. I’m very comfortable with large and strong dogs. I have a Newfoundland, German Shepherd, and Husky of my own so I understand the structure, consistency, and exercise they need. Whether your dog is big, small, young, or senior, I can confidently provide safe, attentive care. My experience includes walks, feeding, potty breaks, playtime, basic training reinforcement, and of course lots of love and attention. I’m dependable, motivated, and flexible, and I treat every dog like my own. Your pup will receive patient, responsible, loving care every visit. Weekend walks and drop-ins available! Weekday visits can often be arranged with advance notice. I’m flexible and happy to work with your schedule whenever possible. Safety, structure, and communication are my top priorities. I use secure leashing practices, remain attentive on walks, and follow all feeding and care instructions precisely. I respect your home and ensure your pup feels comfortable, safe, and cared for every visit!

“Dawn is a great dog sitter. She took lots of photos, and her dog Rice was a wonderful host too! She took care of Ruby and Toasty for the day in her home as a "trial run" to make sure all 3 dogs were compatible so we will definitely be using her in the future for extended stays. Highly recommend.”

“Booked last minute when previous sitter backed out night before doggy day care was to begin. They also have dogs which worked out even better since my pup loves to play. This family is my “go to” when I come up to visit. Can’t thank them enough for helping us for this New Year holiday.”

About: I grew up with a pair of golden retrievers and currently have two Puli and one Old English Sheepdog pup (he is big boy). I am patient, loving and affectionate towards all dogs. I will make your dog feel cared for while giving them the highest standard of care and attention. I work from home mostly and have the flexibility to spend time with dogs. Just like your pup, It's good for me to take breaks and get outside too. We will have a fence in the next few months and will have a beautiful backyard for dogs to run. We have a large home with lots of windows and light and would love to host other furry guests.

“WE had our first experience using Rover . We were extremely satisfied. Our dogs had a meet and greet previously. This was their first stay. They were very excited when we got there. We got pictures during the day. We have booked with them again for a longer stay. We will be very comfortable leaving our dogs there for an extended stay. We felt like Jeff and Sonia were very involved with the dogs and this wasn't a side job.. which was comforting. Highly Recommend”

About: I have grown up with dogs in the house (6) since I was a child! I have had 2 small dogs (a Pomeranian and a Shorkie) for 8 years and they get tired of each other so they love making new dog friends! I work from home so have the ability to be around your dog(s) 24/7! I work from home Monday - Friday and not mandatory to go into the office though I do love to go on Tuesdays but can miss it if you need your dog watched! I have 2 very friendly dogs to keep your dog(s) company and entertained! I don’t have a fenced in back yard yet but I have the capability to take them on walks and have a large townhome where they have space to roam and I can even crate your dog if you’d like but I let mine on the couch and sleep in bed with me!

About: Ive taken care of dogs for my friends and family since college and until recently, had an amazing little Maltese named Sawyer for 14 wonderful years. After his passing earlier this year, I have had 3 different housesitting jobs for my friends which has shown me how much I miss having an animal companion, but I am just not ready to get another one. The max number of dogs that I have ever watched was four but depending on temperament, I could be comfortable with more. By working from home, I’m able to care for dogs in my home or travel to your home, depending on your preference. My typical work schedule is 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, and because I work remotely, I have plenty of flexibility throughout the day for walks, potty breaks, playtime, and, of course, lots of cuddles. I’m happiest when I’m curled up with a good book and a fur baby nearby. My experience with pet sitting has primarily been with families whose pets are not crate trained, so I’m very comfortable with pets having access to furniture and sleeping in the bed. The animals in my life have always been treated as part of the family, and I’m comfortable accommodating different routines and personalities. I have experience caring for dogs who are graze eaters as well as dogs who follow a specific feeding schedule. Before he passed, my little guy was taking several medications, so I’m also comfortable administering medications and keeping up with specific timing and routines. I live in a ranch-style townhouse with a yard, although it is not fenced in. Because of this, I would always follow the owner’s instructions regarding outdoor time and would not allow a pet outside unattended.
“Sharon was wonderful! She was flexible and was able to meet all of my dogs needs while at daycare . She went above and beyond to make sure he was not only comfortable, but happy. She sent numerous pictures throughout the day highlighting my dog lounging and going for walks throughout the neighborhood. He also received his mid day medication without hesitation. I am truly appreciative of the time and care provided by Sharon. I would strongly recommend her services to anyone in the wake forest area.”
“Molly loves going to Lauren's house. When we drive up and she gets SO excited when she realizes where we are and can't get in the Lauren's house fast enough to see the family and the resident dogs.”

About: Whether you're heading out for a weekend or a longer trip, your dog will be in safe, loving hands. I offer personalized dog sitting and comfortable home-based boarding where your pup will enjoy plenty of attention, daily walks, playtime, and a calm environment. With a genuine love for animals and experience caring for dogs, I treat every fur guest my own —because your fur baby deserves nothing less. Care for my fur guest fits seamlessly into my routine because I work from home. This allows me to be present and attentive throughout the day, whether it's for feeding, potty breaks, walks, or just some comforting company. I’m able to maintain a calm and consistent environment where pets feel safe and cared for. Being home full-time means my fur guest will never be left alone for long, and I can easily adapt to their individual needs and routines. I maintain their regular routines as closely as possible—whether that’s feeding times, walk schedules, or special care instructions. My fur guest have access to cozy resting areas, safe indoor and outdoor spaces, and plenty of attention throughout the day since I work from home. I also provide regular updates with photos or messages, so you always know how they are doing. My goal is to create a stress-free, happy stay that gives you peace of mind while you’re away.
About: Caring for cats and dogs is second nature to me. Every animal is unique, and learning each pet's habits and personalities is both interesting and rewarding. I have lived in Raleigh most of my life and I am familiar with the local animal hospitals and shelters. I am close friends with several veterinarians, and I am also certified in CPR as a RECOVER Pet Rescuer. I am available most days with very short notice, and any day with a week's notice. I stain and repair decks during the warmer months, but the schedule is very flexible. I am available morning, noon or night. Animal care is dependent on the pet. I would follow the owner's instructions and rely on my extensive knowledge of cats and dogs to provide the best care possible.

“Gretchen was absolutely amazing with our dog, Molly. This was our first time using Rover, and naturally we were a little nervous leaving her with someone new, especially because Molly can be anxious and has a few special considerations. Gretchen immediately put us at ease. She was kind, attentive, communicative, and clearly cared about making Molly feel safe and comfortable in her home. We received updates and could tell Molly was being genuinely cared for, not just watched. Gretchen was also very patient with Molly’s quirks and made the entire experience stress-free for us. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone dependable, compassionate, and attentive.”

About: I’ve helped take care of my family dogs for many years. We’ve had dogs my whole life, and currently I’m helping care for our six month old puppy. So, I’ve had experience walking dogs, playing, feeding, taking out for potty breaks, naps, and many more. I’m currently on summer break, so I have plenty of free time to care for your pets! I’m happy to come anytime after 8:00am, and before 10:00 pm. I prefer not to work too late or overnight because I’m just not comfortable with it or driving when it’s really dark. I can’t care for dogs in my home because we currently have a puppy who is only sometimes ok with other dogs, and I live with my parents who won’t want other dogs around. But I’m happy to come over and care for them at your home. I’m comfortable with taking them out in the yard or walking them. And I can also crate them if need be. I’m comfortable with all dog breeds and sizes, unless they are aggressive.
About: Hi! My name is Emily, and animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. For the past year, I worked at a busy doggy daycare where I cared for dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and temperaments. Working in a fast paced environment taught me how to safely handle multiple dogs at once, recognize body language, manage high energy situations, and keep pets comfortable and secure. Growing up, my family regularly adopted and fostered senior dogs and dogs with behavioral challenges that other people often overlooked. Because of this, I’ve spent my entire life caring for a wide variety of personalities from shy and anxious dogs to high energy playful dogs. I understand that every dog is different and deserves individualized care, patience, and attention. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply sticking to their routine, I’m committed to making them feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! I am currently in online school, which gives me a very flexible schedule and allows me to be available throughout the day for walks, drop in visits, house sitting, or anything else your pups need! Safety and comfort are always my top priorities. While I am unable to board pets in my own home, I am happy to care for pets in their home. With my experience working at a doggy daycare and caring for dogs throughout my life, I am confident handling dogs of all sizes, energy levels, and personalities. I pay close attention to body language, routines, and any instructions provided by owners to ensure each pet receives individualized care. When caring for pets in a client's home, I treat both the pets and the home with respect. I maintain feeding schedules, provide exercise and enrichment, keep living areas clean, monitor for any signs of illness or stress, and provide regular updates and photos so owners can have peace of mind while they're away .

About: Hi, I’m Summer. As a dog mom of four and having my oldest for 10 years now we have experienced the best years together. My passion is to provide that same care to your furry family while you’re away 💗 With working early hours in a bakery on a need be base, my schedule is flexible. I currently have two dogs and two fosters. They are all loving and have adapted quite quickly to our relaxed home environment as I’ve learned that is the best way for them to show their true personality and be comfortable. We go for frequent walks, rides in the car, visits to dog parks and their favorite, the beach! I have a fenced in yard and wish to bring the same safety and comfort to your furry friend while you’re away. I’m also familiar with the halo collar as one of our fosters is currently learning safety boundaries 💗
About: I've always believed that every pet has their own unique personality, and one of my favorite parts of pet sitting is getting to know who they are. I love talking to animals (yes, I know they talk back in their own way!) and learning what makes each one happy! Whether they're goofy, shy, energetic, cuddly, or a little dramatic. I grew up volunteering at local animal shelters with my family once a month and have continued that tradition into my adulthood. I am known as the "go-to sitter", among close family and friends, and now as a recent college graduate, (with some extra time on my hands) I would love to take my passion and serve other pet families as well. I genuinely enjoy keeping pets active and entertained. I love going on walks and exploring different neighborhoods, parks, and walking trails, so if your dog enjoys an adventure, we'll have plenty together! I'm also happy to play games, provide enrichment, or simply relax with pets who prefer a quieter day, as I too love a good snuggle on the couch! I have experience administering medications and carefully following care instructions, so I'm comfortable caring for senior pets or animals with medical needs. I understand how important consistency is, and I always make sure medications, feeding schedules, and routines are followed exactly as instructed. I also offer house sitting, so your pets can stay comfortable in the place they know best while you travel. My goal is to make your time away as stress-free as possible, for both you and your pets. You can rest assured your baby will be given lots of love, attention, and dependable care. As a recent college graduate, my schedule is very flexible. Which, thankfully, allows me to dedicate quality time to the pets I'm caring for. Whether it's morning walks, midday potty breaks, evening playtime, overnight house sitting, or sticking to a specific medication schedule, I'm happy to work with your pet's routine. I believe pets thrive on consistency, so I do my best to keep their day feeling as normal and comfortable as possible. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. When caring for pets in your home through house sitting or drop-in visits, I follow your routines closely, keep doors and gates secure, monitor pets during walks and outdoor time, and make sure they always have fresh water, meals, and plenty of attention. I know that every pet is different, so I take the time to learn their habits, boundaries, favorite toys, and little quirks. Building trust is important to me, and I believe it starts with patience, consistency, and lots of positive interaction. I also volunteer with local dog shelters, and have been doing so for the past four years since coming to Charlotte, which has deepened my love for animals and my understanding of all kinds of personalities and needs. I'm also comfortable administering medications, keeping you updated with messages and photos, and making sure your home is treated with the same respect and care as I would my own. My goal is for you to return home to a happy, relaxed pet who has been loved like family while you were away.

About: I’ve had a dog all my life up until college. I grew up with 4 pitbulls and 2 cats ❤️ I’ve worked at a doggy daycare too! I’ve taken care of dogs from newborn pups to some oldies but goodies! 😂 I just graduated and am not currently employed, so I have plenty of time to watch your little guy/gal. There’s a lake near me to take your pup on a walk and a dog park we can play catch at! They can have the whole living room to sleep at night or if they’re little rascals I can use a crate.

“Marissa did a great job with my crazy golden retriever, Huck! She was very prompt and did a great job with him despite the fact that he can be a bit of a puller. She was very accommodating and willing to take him on a jog because he has so much energy!”

My dog was immediately comfortable with her and she took amazing care of my dog including giving my dog some care for her ears that she noticed were bothering her shortly after I had dropped her off. -Bill”

“Julie and Greg provided amazing care for our young high energy hound during his first-ever experience with a sitter. They sent photos and updates every day. Not only did they give him plenty of exercise, play, and affection, they worked with him on some problem behaviors/doggie-manner-deficits during his stay with them. I could not recommend more highly.”

“Amanda was so great for Buddy! She was so flexible in meeting us prior to his stay, and she kept me updated throughout with pictures and video. Whenever I asked how he was doing she promptly replied with a story about his time with her. It was a great comfort knowing that she really cared about his well being while we were gone. Thank you Amanda!”

“We could tell that our girl was in GREAT hands! She sent daily pictures and videos and was so good with our dog! We will definitely be using her again! Thanks so much for putting our mind at ease this trip and taking the best care of her!!! We appreciate it SO much!!”

I felt completely at ease knowing he was in such loving and attentive hands. Paco came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. I would definitely trust them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and caring pet care!”

“This was my first time using Rover and having my pet stay with Jeremy & his wife, and we will most certainly be return customers! I received daily updates and photos of my dog who always appeared happy and loved! When it was time for pickup, my belongs were tidy and ready to go, with our dog bed having been freshly washed! What a great experience and what a great couple who obviously love dogs and have really figured out how to be gracious, clean, and loving dog watchers!”

“Repeat client here! Scott and Heather provided excellent care for our Woody. Scott is fantastic at keeping us informed about Woody and what he’s doing. Your dog will be well taken care here!!”

“Jerry is the best! We left our sweet baby for a week - I was worried sick as it was the longest we’ve ever been without him. But Jerry gave me a piece of mind knowing my bubs was in good hands. He took such great care of him and got along great with his doggos. We will 1000% be using Jerry again in the future and you should too!”

“Lauren took good care of my little dog while we were overseas for xmas. She was sensitive to his needs and was great about sending daily updates. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Lauren again!”

“This was our first time using Rover.com and we started with a great sitter. We had a lovely experience with Luis. Josie was well taken care of and appeared to enjoy her time in his care. He kept us updated with text and pictures. Also, Josie is a picky eater, but Luis was persistent in following my instructions on how to get her to eat. She was walked twice a day and had a great time playing with a puppy that was also in Luis' care. I will use him again in the future and plan to recommend him to others.”

“I really appreciated Sony's focus on keeping the dogs calm from the first meet-and-greet to when I picked them up after their stay. Drop-off and pickup were super streamlined so that the dogs aren't all nervous and I could easily get the dogs in and then bring their supplies in separately. Great experience, she will be my go-to from now on!”

“I don’t have enough words to describe how great Savannah and her husband Brent were to my baby Lucy. They are the sweetest people, communicated so well! I could tell Lucy was in the best hands! Their little baby Pongo is also the cutest!! 100% recommend!! We will definitely be booking again!! Thank you!!”

“Andrea was very easy to work with. We did a Meet and Greet a few weeks before Oskar stayed with her. She sent pictures and updates almost every day. She responded promptly to my messages. I would consider sending Oskar to Andrea again if I needed a dog sitter.”
