About: Caring for cats and dogs is second nature to me. Every animal is unique, and learning each pet's habits and personalities is both interesting and rewarding. I have lived in Raleigh most of my life and I am familiar with the local animal hospitals and shelters. I am close friends with several veterinarians, and I am also certified in CPR as a RECOVER Pet Rescuer. I am available most days with very short notice, and any day with a week's notice. I stain and repair decks during the warmer months, but the schedule is very flexible. I am available morning, noon or night. Animal care is dependent on the pet. I would follow the owner's instructions and rely on my extensive knowledge of cats and dogs to provide the best care possible.

About: Ive taken care of dogs for my friends and family since college and until recently, had an amazing little Maltese named Sawyer for 14 wonderful years. After his passing earlier this year, I have had 3 different housesitting jobs for my friends which has shown me how much I miss having an animal companion, but I am just not ready to get another one. The max number of dogs that I have ever watched was four but depending on temperament, I could be comfortable with more. By working from home, I’m able to care for dogs in my home or travel to your home, depending on your preference. My typical work schedule is 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, and because I work remotely, I have plenty of flexibility throughout the day for walks, potty breaks, playtime, and, of course, lots of cuddles. I’m happiest when I’m curled up with a good book and a fur baby nearby. My experience with pet sitting has primarily been with families whose pets are not crate trained, so I’m very comfortable with pets having access to furniture and sleeping in the bed. The animals in my life have always been treated as part of the family, and I’m comfortable accommodating different routines and personalities. I have experience caring for dogs who are graze eaters as well as dogs who follow a specific feeding schedule. Before he passed, my little guy was taking several medications, so I’m also comfortable administering medications and keeping up with specific timing and routines. I live in a ranch-style townhouse with a yard, although it is not fenced in. Because of this, I would always follow the owner’s instructions regarding outdoor time and would not allow a pet outside unattended.

About: I have grown up with dogs in the house (6) since I was a child! I have had 2 small dogs (a Pomeranian and a Shorkie) for 8 years and they get tired of each other so they love making new dog friends! I work from home so have the ability to be around your dog(s) 24/7! I work from home Monday - Friday and not mandatory to go into the office though I do love to go on Tuesdays but can miss it if you need your dog watched! I have 2 very friendly dogs to keep your dog(s) company and entertained! I don’t have a fenced in back yard yet but I have the capability to take them on walks and have a large townhome where they have space to roam and I can even crate your dog if you’d like but I let mine on the couch and sleep in bed with me!

I have a large 1 acre fenced in backyard at my own home. Always use a harness and a leash for walks or outings. I will make sure your pet is feeling loved, safe and fed with plenty of scratches & snuggles (if they like that), walks or outdoor play, fresh water and food and comfort.

In the pet’s home, I focus on keeping them comfortable in their familiar surroundings and maintaining their usual feeding, walking, and bedtime routine. About: I have professional experience working at a veterinary kennel and am trained in proper medication and subcutaneous fluid administration. I also know how to work with anxious, elderly, and disabled pets. I love getting to know each pet’s personal needs and quirks in order to give them the best care possible! I am a recent college graduate and am doing pet sitting full time! This means I will be able to schedule my days around your pet‘s needs. About: I grew up on a farm with all sorts of animals. I have had indoor pets for over 30 years and currently my family and I have two cats. I can even take care of smaller pets like hamsters, guinea pigs and lizards. However, spiders need not apply! 🙂 I currently work until 2: 30 p.m. But I have flexibility to go check on pets, I can also do evening runs and or house sitting as needed! my preference would be to check on your pets in your home, but can provide care in my home.
