“This was our very first time trying out a pet sitter through an app. We were a little apprehensive of leaving our pets for so long with someone we had never met. Fast forward to today…post 5 day vacay with our pets in Richie’s care…we are very pleased with the care our pets received! Richie managed multiple long walks, administered medication when needed and kept an eye on our home. He was always on time and available to communicate if needed. We are so thankful and will definitely reach out to Richie for any pet care needs in the future. 🦮🐈⬛🥇😀”

“Ella did a wonderful job caring for our cats while we were out of town. I don't worry about them at all when she is looking after them. She always sends great photos and detailed notes. She is the best!”

“Chelsea did a great job taking care of our cat, Lucy, including giving her meds. she even moved some packages that came in while we were out! very thankful for her help.”

“Nina came in checked on our kitty girls while we were away, and took the sweetest photos. She met us and the kitties ahead of time, and it was obvious that she is a true animal lover.”

“Julia took great care of our two cats. They are very timid rescues, but they were very comfortable around Julia right from the start. They are also older adult cats with a host of issues and Julia handled each situation very well. She communicated with us daily and very much eased our concerns about traveling a great distance for an extended period of time.”

“Lily was terrific and sent me some photos of my kitty PussPuss. She took the time to coax PussPuss out of her hiding places which I am very grateful for knowing how much PussPuss craves attention. I felt confident she was well cared for!”

“This was my first time leaving my kitty, and karina made it so much better. He has a different feeding schedule than most cats, and is higher energy and he was so happy. I felt as ease knowing he was being taken care of. She was super communicative as well with everything! Highly recommend & will be using her in the future!”

“Jennifer was fantastic. This was my first time using Rover and she really put me at ease. My cats were well cared for and she checked on them at the same time each day, which I greatly appreciated for consistency's sake. I'll definitely use her again!”

“Tara is not our usual sitter, but was recommended by the folks who are. She did a great job! Our bb's love her, and she did all we asked and more. Do not hesitate to book her, as I would certainly recommend and rebook her with no hesitation.”

About: I’ve grown up with pets, a dog and two cats. Pet sitting for my neighbors and watching my friend’s pets. I love animals and I hope they love me! I’m currently in school so early mornings, afternoons, and evenings are great! Anything before 7:00am and after 11:30am will work with me. I’m available most to the entire day on weekends. I love to work on holiday breaks, when I’m always free. I deescalate situations immediately with my cats whenever they fight. I’m good with separating problems and dealing with some naughty pets. I’m not able to work with aggressive or just mean animals.
About: I have spent my entire life surrounded by animals, and I truly believe they make a house a home. For 10 years, I was a proud "dog dad" to a West Highland White Terrier, so I am very familiar with the high energy, grooming needs, and big personalities that come with spirited breeds! I have been the go-to pet sitter for my friends and neighbors for years, handling everything from quick drop-in visits to overnight stays. Whether your dog is a high-energy explorer or a senior who just wants a quite cuddle, I have the patience and experience to make them feel safe while you're away. I have a very flexible schedule so I will be able to spend a lot of time with your pups. And I can house/pet sit on evenings or weekends. I will read and follow any instructions you might have, and I will love your pet and care for him as my own. When pet/house sitting, I will comply with any instructions you might have, and help ease any anxiety.
“Pamela went above and beyond while sitting our cat Pickles!! She was always providing such great updates with lots of pictures. She was really friendly and I could tell that she was spending quality time with our cat. I would recommend Pam to anyone in need of a pet sitter. This was an easy 5 star review and we will definitely be booking her again!”

About: I’ve been around dogs and cats my entire life and can’t imagine a home without them! As a kid, my family owned 4 dogs and 5 cats at one time! I had a dog-walking business in middle school, where I would walk neighborhood dogs after school. Currently, I have a dog and a cat of my own and understand the daily care they require. I'm currently working from home part-time. This gives me the freedom and flexibility to walk dogs and make drop-in visits to cats and dogs in the area while you're on vacation or during your working hours. I'm working on creating a boarding space in my own home. However, until that is up and running, I am available for dog walking and drop-in visits for both cats and dogs in the area. They will receive affection and exercise catered to their specific needs. Whether it's a dog walk or playtime in the backyard, your dog will get the stimulation they need while you're away. As for cats, I will check and clean the litter box and give them affection. I also follow any feeding schedules pets may need.
“Julia was very personable and caring. Her updates were clear and immediate. She was flexible with the schedule and became friendly with my cats. I appreciate Julia and recommend her to anyone who needs a responsible caretaker.”

I’m retired and active so I’m flexible and available. If possible I will adjust my schedule to care for a pets needs across the board. I’m attentive to their need for play and rest and I’m focused on compassion and care. Dogs love schedules and whether food driven or play or connection and care, I adjust and take full responsibility for making their life better.
“I've hired Shannon twice now and both times she was wonderful. She is punctual and communicates with you very well. She really pays attention to your animals and will let you know about anything questionable. She again went above and beyond with my cats. She is my go to pet sitter.”

Wyatt cat parents share their Rover experiences
We were so grateful for Elaina! She stepped in at the very last minute when we had to leave town unexpectedly for a funeral, and she couldn’t have been more dependable or caring. She took incredible care of our two dogs and two cats for nearly a week. Everything was spotless and calm when we returned home, and the animals were clearly happy and well-loved. She was punctual every single visit and sent us adorable photo updates that made being away much easier. Truly a lifesaver and an absolute professional. We’ll be calling her again without hesitation.
