About: Even as a kid, I was the primary caregiver for my childhood dog, Zoey. I took responsibility for making sure she was fed and watered, taking her for long walks and playing with her in our backyard. I knew that when I grew up, I would adopt a dog as soon as I could. A few months before I was discharged from the Marine Corps, I reached out to my hometown's local animal shelter about Baron. Baron was a 2-year-old, Boxer/Pit mix and from the moment I saw his picture, I knew he was going to be my boy. I called the shelter regularly to see if he was still there and let them know the day I could pick him up. I drove from my base in California to my Mom's house in Florida, dropped my stuff off, and immediately went to the shelter to adopt Baron. For the first few months I took him everywhere I went. All my friends and family knew that if Dan was coming, so was Baron. A few years after adopting Baron, I shared pictures of him with a girl I was talking to, and she immediately wanted to meet him. I took him for a walk with her and, as they say, the rest is history, she’s my wife. She brought two cats to the relationship, Teyla and Cara, and I eventually adopted a third cat, Ahsoka, with her. I cared for Baron together for 10 years. In 2022, he was diagnosed with bone cancer in his jaw, and we decided to try surgery, chemo and radiation. My wife and I got another 3 years with him, when the vet had told us he had 6 months to live. In 2025, his cancer returned, and he passed away just a few months before I got married. I spread some of his ashes at our wedding ceremony at one of the purest lakes in New Zealand and his name is engraved on our wedding bands. Shortly after saying goodbye to Baron, my wife and I adopted our fourth cat, Leia. I like to say she is Baron reincarnated because she follows me everywhere and has taken his place begging for food at the dinner table. I love meeting new dogs and cats, and have never met a dog that doesn't like me (I think everyone knows that cats aren't always that easy to win over!). As the caregiver for your pet, I bring years of experience caring for dogs and cats. I have experience with puppies, kittens, and senior dogs and cats. I am experienced with delivering oral and topical medications, and hand feeding. I am experienced with obedience training and basic commands, crate training, walking on a lead, different types of dog collars, and off leash e-collar use. I understand how to safely have dogs meet, and what signs to look for to signal aggression, discomfort, fear, or playfulness when around other dogs. I understand that pets have routines and schedules, and I will adjust my day to make sure your pet can keep their routine. I know what it's like to have another person care for my pets, and I will make sure to send photos and messages with updates to let you know your pet is safe and happy. As a stay-at-home trophy husband and cat dad, my day is flexible and I can ensure your pet's care and comfort is my top priority. I am currently working part time so I have a flexible schedule to acommodate your pet's routine. Your pet will get a considerable amount of attention and care while I'm with them. I have used Rover in the past for my own dog so I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, whether it's reinforcing good behavior or just giving lots of care and love, your pet's well being is my top priority. I'm available when you need me. From checking in on your pets while you are on vacation, taking your dog for a nice stimulating walk, or staying the night with your pets, let me know what works best for you! I will care for your pet in your home so they feel safe and comfortable. I will always have your dog on a leash and check the immediate area for other people/animals before leaving the house. I will respect your home like it's my own house, and I will follow your pet's schedule and house rules.

About: I’ve been around cats my whole life, but in my teenage years I started bonding more with dogs—and I’ve been hooked ever since. I’ve had several dogs over the years, and my current pup, Johnny, is wild, playful, and full of energy. His best friend is a Great Dane three times his size, so I’m very comfortable handling dogs of all breeds and sizes. Whether your dog is energetic, laid-back, or somewhere in between, I’ll make sure they get the attention, care, and fun they need. I have a flexible job that allows me to fit pet care into my day easily. I’m available for drop-in visits and dog walks throughout the week and can adjust to your pet’s routine. For drop-in visits and dog walks, I treat your pets like my own. I make sure they get the attention, exercise, and care they need. During visits, I’ll follow any specific instructions for feeding, playtime, or medication, and ensure they’re safe and comfortable. When walking, I keep them on a secure leash and adjust the pace to match their energy level, whether it’s a leisurely stroll or an energetic run. Your pet’s safety and happiness are my priority every step of the way.

I am all about my dogs, and have two at home, a 14 year old Pom with chronic health issues I’ve had since college, and a 4 year old golden who is great with my boys. I am skilled with medication administration, and love going on strolls with the doggies. My Pom has his own little quirks, and every pet is unique. About: In 2006, my family adopted an Old English Sheepdog, Zoey. We got Zoey when she was a puppy, and she lived to be 9 before she passed away. In 2013, my dad and step-mom adopted an Australian Shepherd puppy, Molly. Molly was very high energy and needed a job to do, which was stressful for my step-mom so after Zoey passed away, my mom, my sisters, and I had Molly come live with us. Molly was with me for all walks of life, and we lived together just me and her for the past 6 years. As Molly had gotten older, her arthritis became a big deterrent for us, and we adapted as best we could to make her as happy and comfortable as possible. In the years after college, I dog-sat for my family friends and my own friends when they'd travel. It was always enjoyable and a good way to hang out with some pretty cool dogs! They came in all shapes, sizes, and ages! With Maddy the shitzu being 17 and Banor the German Shepherd being almost a year. I've always had pets, so taking care of them has always been a priority for me. It's truly muscle memory at this point. I get up and immediately go to take my dog outside. Before going to bed, I allot 20 extra minutes to take my dog outside. It's second nature. I care for pets by creating a safe environment for them. I always double-check to make sure nothing is on the floor that they could get into. Pushing things back on the counter in case they jump. And making sure they get extra pets before leaving them to go to work.

About: I am open to long walks if your dog requires a lot of exercise. I can also spend time playing, teaching tricks, or doing other activities for mental stimulation. I would ve happy to prepare a kong or any kibble toppers of your preference. These are the things I personally like to do I with my dog Ginny. She has a lot of energy and is up for many adventures. I work full time from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. I have availability for walks and drop in visits after work and on weekends. If you like, I would be happy to prepare a kong, or kibble toppers of your preference for your pet. I personally like to feed my dog healthy fruits (no high sugar) and vegetables along with her kibble.

About: I have at least 3 years of experience in fostering kittens between the ages of 8 weeks - 8 months. Also open to watching dogs! I am currently working hybrid and can be in the home full time 5 days out of the week. I have unlimited PTO and can take off for emergencies if necessary. I have a pretty spacious apartment, which is very ideal for cats and small dogs. There are plenty of cozy places for them to nap.
