“Madilyn is a phenomenal sitter and she's really made an effort to connect with my dog who's very shy. I'm so relieved to know I have someone I can trust taking care of my dog when I'm away and I will be continuing to book with her!”

“Adreanna was great with my dog Zoey. Zo warmed up to her immediately when she met her, which is not the norm as she is usually a bit shy when meeting new people. Adreanna was awesome at communicating and always responds quickly. She is also really flexible with the check ins. I did not worry about a thing knowing she was checking on Zoey. Highly recommend her if you're needing someone to watch your pet!”

“Claire was absolutely awesome! From the moment she dropped by to meet our dog, to her punctual updates during her visits, she was professional and communicative and clearly a natural caregiver and animal lover. We had some issues with a new medication and our dog's appetite, and Claire was caring and helpful. We couldn't have asked for a better caregiver for our dog!”

“Im usually wary of new people watching my zoo -but Sarah was great from first min I met her. She was interested and greeted my pups. She followed all my instructions, and I got an update immediately after she left. I felt very confident that she would take care of them and I was right. Everyone was happy and content when I arrived home. I would definitely ask Sarah to watch them again!”

About: I’m a Junior at NCSU in the Pre-Vet program! I am a certified vet assistant, worked as a kennel attendant, and I volunteer with a local cat rescue often. I have experience with aggressive, disabled, and high energy animals, as well as all types of species! I can’t wait to meet your pet and give them the best care! I am currently taking classes but I am flexible in the mornings and evenings to take care of your pet! I am often free and have a flexible schedule on weekends. I will walk dogs with awareness and attentiveness of your pet, and during house visits I will make sure your pet is comfortable, happy, and healthy! I will make sure your pet is active and playing, and I don't mind attending to other requests while you're away.
About: Hi! I love all animals and pets. I grew up with guinea pigs, hamsters, and gerbils at home and have pet sat for cats and dogs since I was a kid. Since 2020, my family has been involved in a service dog organization. We have fostered and helped train and care for numerous puppies and adult dogs. In addition to puppy training, I also have experience with reactive dogs and giving pills. I'm comfortable with various energy levels and temperaments. I can follow specific routines, reinforce training, and provide both physical activity and mental stimulation to keep your dog happy and healthy. As a grad student, I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. There is nothing better than cuddling with pets or getting outside for a study break! My landlord does not allow pets, but I am happy to care for your pet in your home. I am a full-time graduate student so my schedule has a lot of flexibility, including during the week and during the workday. I will strive to build trust with you and with your pet, and will communicate thoroughly and diligently. Doing a meet and greet and covering and special needs and preference will help me care for your pet the way that you need! I will exercise your pet or cuddle with them. I will walk your dog in your neighborhood, take them to a trail or to a park, play with them using their favorite toys, and help with training. The most important thing for me is that you and your pet are both happy and comfortable!

About: Hi! I am a teacher with a passion for animals! I grew up with 3 cats and 1 dog. As a teenager, I helped my cousins raise a puppy for the seeing eye dog foundation. I have watched pets for family friends in their homes before. I have also cared for pets while I have nannied for families in the past! I look forward to taking care of your little one(s)!! I am currently an elementary school teacher. During the week, I am available for early morning walks (until 7am) and night time needs (after 5pm). During the weekend, I am available for drop ins, boarding, or staying in your home with your pets! My building has a little dog park, a dog cleaning station if necessary, and theres another dog park just up the road. I also love taking long walks, so your dog will have plenty of exercise! I am flexible and a quick learner with specific requests depending on your specific needs.
About: (20lbs dogs or smaller only) I strive to give my pet parents the best photos of their babies! Check out my photos to see some of the results! 🫶🏻 I have experience with amputees, puppies, post-op, and senior dogs (I have a 16 year old tripawd chihuahua). I have experience administering medication, feeding hard and soft food (refrigerated, heated up or at room temperature), managing a post-surgery cone, suture observation, providing assistance navigating the home, and easing fears when they arise. Although I limit the size of dogs for boarding, I have experience taking care of Dachshunds, English Bulldogs, French Bulldogs, Great Danes, Huskies, Labs, Golden Retrievers, Yorkies, Spaniels, Mixed Breed dogs in a variety of sizes, and cats. I’m available ☔️ or ☀️ maybe even ❄️ but not 🌪️. For boarding, I do not accept dogs who are not fully potty trained, who bark or howl excessively, who cannot sleep downstairs without a person present overnight, or who have any issues with other dogs even if only sometimes. I predominantly work from home and I’m not away from home often, so pet sitting fits well into my schedule. I’m also flexible and can adjust my schedule to be at home if not originally scheduled to be. I would care for anyone’s pet the same way I would care for my own, with the most love, care, and respect for the animal as possible. If the pet is in my home I would allow them the opportunity to explore and get comfortable with their surroundings and follow any of their parents instructions to help them with the new environment. If I’m in the client’s home, I would follow the client’s instructions on how to best serve the animal while I’m there.
About: I’ve had dogs, cats, birds, bunnies, snakes, and even a tarantula while growing up, but canine companionship has been a constant throughout my life. I have watched many pets for friends and family throughout high school, college, and into my adult years. I’ve used Rover and other sitters before and know what it’s like to search for the perfect person to entrust you fur-babies with. I’ve had both great and not-so-great experiences in the past with sitters watching my dog, which is why I decided to join Rover myself so I could give other pets and pet-parents the best experiences! I have one extremely friendly pup and I work from home with a lot of flexibility, so I am available for any and all of your pets needs and attention while they are with me. You can expect lots of pictures, videos, and lightning-fast replies! I work from home with a very flexible schedule that allows me to get up and take the dogs for a walk or play at anytime. I can accommodate any pet care routine needed. I have a fenced yard and a super friendly King Charles Cavalier boy, neutered. Pets are allowed on the couch and the bed in this home 😌

“Natalie was great! Super communicative the entire time, and sent so many pictures! Took the time to get to know my cats and was very patient with them! Overall an amazing experience, so glad to have found a reliable cat sitter!”

“This is the third time that I’ve used Riley now and she has been great! Even let me know about an ant problem around my cat’s food and helped take care of it for me while I was gone for an extended period! Thanks Riley!”

I live in an apartment that has two dog parks. I have a roommate with a dog that I take care of. We go to the park and the lake and we go on long runs.
About: Dog lover who isn’t quite ready for one of my own yet. My family has two dogs who are my whole world, and I miss them now that I’ve moved out. West Raleigh cat parents share their Rover experiences
Summer was such a wonderful pet sitter for my cat! They were prompt and helpful in their communication, and knew all of the questions to ask to make the experience as seamless as possible. I’ve been back for one day, and I think my cat misses them already! They provided thoughtful and helpful feedback with each visit, and the photos they sent made me feel like my cat was in good hands. I would highly recommended seeking out Summer for your pet care needs.
Mae was an amazing sitter! She was kind, communicative, and incredibly patient, my cat decided to cause some chaos while I was away, and she cleaned up without complaint. She also went above and beyond by handling a wrong address on my account with total understanding. Would absolutely book again!

Erica was wonderful! She was very kind, reliable, and took great care of my cat while I was away. I really appreciated her updates and the peace of mind she provided throughout the stay. It was clear that she genuinely cared, and I would absolutely book her again. Highly recommend!

Courtney was great! She took great care of my cat and was flexible when I added additional visits to her schedule. She made sure to update me on when she was visiting and sent plenty of pet photos during her visits. Would definitely recommend her to anyone in need of a pet sitter!

We have used Nico multiple times over the years and have never had one single thing to complain about. He does a fantastic job with our cats. He cleans up after them and even took the smelly trash out. We always come home to a clean house and happy cats! Most importantly, we never have to worry about them while we are away. I highly recommend Nico.
