About: I grew up with labs and retrievers but now live alone with my 2 cats (who are pretty much used to dogs, but still wary of them). I watch peoples dogs and foster with Saving Grace when I can so have experience with a wide range of dogs. I am an engineer but am taking time off from that job. One favorite thing to do with a dog I watch is taking them to my building’s fenced in private dog walk and playing fetch! I have a large dog crate if that is better for sitting/boarding but only if that is part of their normal routine. Pets are allowed on the furniture (also if normal) and since I have pets already, I have extra water around the apartment. Since I’m used to hosting dogs, I’m good at “cat proofing” the apartment and my unit has a good layout to separate the cats and the visiting pet if needed. I choose how to take out any dog based on their personality: dog walk at my apartment building, walks, local dog park, hikes, etc. I also have plenty of dog toys.

I have done pet training which included house training, basic commands (i.e. sit, stay, come), and tricks (i.e. roll over, play dead, circle, beg). I can bath, feed, train, and exercise most all dogs. I am a quick and independent learner with a passion for working with animals. I’m available to stay over weekdays and weekends so long as my schedule is available. My job will be requiring me to be in office throughout the week for the next few months, however location depending, I can provide midday potty breaks during my “lunch” hour. I’m more of a night owl than early riser, but I can accommodate most routines for your pet so long as it’s not earlier than 7AM. Since I frequently travel locally for work, I apologize for not being able to always accommodate bookings with under 2 weeks notice. I currently have 1 Siberian female cat that is dog and cat friendly, and well socialized to children and people. My home has hardwood downstairs and carpet upstairs. I live in a neighborhood with amble green space for walks and fetch for off leash dogs. I do not have a fenced in yard.
About: I have been giving love to animals all over the spectrum, either in my own home or volunteering at shelters. From young puppies and kittens to the precious seniors, I have cared for them all. Grooming, mild training, stimulating exercise and social interaction, administering medication/shots, preparing special meals, following a dieting plan, and showing unconditional love are all part of my skills. “Our Mooshu came home from his ten day vacation with Genevieve so relaxed and happy! Usually he is traumatized by our being away, but Genevieve’s gentle sweet temperament kept him calm and chill. This has been the best experience for Mooshu in his six years in our family! We’re hoping Genevieve will be available to care for Mooshu during our next trip.”

“Shayne and Jessica were 5 star sitters. This was our first time leaving our dog with sitters for 18 days. He was treated like family and fit in well with their two kids. My Dalmatian is very attached and her temperament can sometimes be snappy, so I was nervous a couple of days before dropping her off. Adriann put me at easy IMMEDIATELY, and took her on an adventure walk right after picking her up. She handled all Koa’s sassy moments with grace, expertise, and patience. And she is FAST asleep after a couple of happy days there! Would easily and happily book again :-)”
