About: Dog lover who isn’t quite ready for one of my own yet. My family has two dogs who are my whole world, and I miss them now that I’ve moved out. I work from home a couple days a week as a graphic designer, so I’m always looking for an excuse to step away from the computer for some fresh air and quality dog time. About: I grew up with labs and retrievers but now live alone with my 2 cats (who are pretty much used to dogs, but still wary of them). I watch peoples dogs and foster with Saving Grace when I can so have experience with a wide range of dogs. I am an engineer but am taking time off from that job. One favorite thing to do with a dog I watch is taking them to my building’s fenced in private dog walk and playing fetch! I have a large dog crate if that is better for sitting/boarding but only if that is part of their normal routine. Pets are allowed on the furniture (also if normal) and since I have pets already, I have extra water around the apartment. Since I’m used to hosting dogs, I’m good at “cat proofing” the apartment and my unit has a good layout to separate the cats and the visiting pet if needed. I choose how to take out any dog based on their personality: dog walk at my apartment building, walks, local dog park, hikes, etc. I also have plenty of dog toys.

I had the luxury of pet sitting a raccoon and opossums. I currently own a 4-month-old toy poodle. I am in school, so I am available full-time because school is online right now. I prefer overnight appointments but anytime works. I'm usually home all day. IMPORTANT: For my safety, pick-ups and drop-offs should be before 6 pm. Pick-ups after 6 pm will incur a $20 fee. About: I have taken care of dogs and cats my whole life. I have done pet training which included house training, basic commands (i.e. sit, stay, come), and tricks (i.e. roll over, play dead, circle, beg). My mom was a dog handler and I’ve been lucky to have learned how to handle various unique training or walking routines. I have also watched cats for extended periods of time as well as having 2 in my home previously. I recently adopted a Siberian cat that’s dog and cat friendly as well. About: I grew up with dogs and have helped my family dog-sit on occasion. More recently, I helped walk and take care of a friend's dog while their family was abroad for two months.
