About: Hello! My name is Karely. I have fostered dogs through Pawmetto Lifeline and have also dogsat for neighbors through my childhood. Through Pawmetto Lifeline I took a course that trained me how to properly foster puppies and dogs. I am available during weekday mornings and weekends (mostly nights) for those who work. I can work with any dog of any age! I have a lot of patience when it comes to specific needs such as medicine or check-ins. I also do not mind cats or any other pet. I love hiking and being active so dog walking would be good for puppies or younger dogs with lots of energy. I’m also very easy to get in touch with for any emergency calls or occasions. I am excited to get to know your pets, just reach out :)!

About: I have experience with both dogs and cats! I am super flexible this summer! I am looking forward to meeting some new fur-friends! Please book me at least 2 days in advance! I am very flexible this summer besides a two week trip at the beginning of July! I am not working since I’m attending graduate school in the fall so I’ll be super available to hang out with your fur babies! I don’t offer house sitting at my house but I can stay over at yours! I will treat your space with respect and follow any instructions you have left to ensure the upkeep and cleanliness of your space!

About: Hi! I’ve had the pleasure of pet-sitting for over eight years, ranging from seniors to high-energy breeds. I’ve also fostered 8-10 week-old kittens/puppies and their moms, with responsibilities including administering oral and topical medicines and special diets. My own dog has some unique quirks, and I know the worries that can sometime accompany leaving your four-legged friend temporarily. I follow through on all pet care details and consistently communicate to keep minds at peace and tails wagging. I'm currently a teacher on break, and there's no better way that I can think of spending it than giving some fur babies all the love and attention. My open schedule allows me to meet you and your pet's needs. Your pet will have my undivided attention while I'm caring for them. I love learning animals' personalities and adapting accordingly. With previous clients, services have ranged from 10-mile walks to snuggles to sleep.
About: Growing up, I learned how to take care of pets with many different needs (a family dog with cancer that required oral medications multiple times a day, a blind senior dog that reached 19 years and needed daily IV drips and guidance to use the bathroom, administered insulin injections to a diabetic cat). I'm very comfortable with accommodating any needs your pet may have. I'm a mom to a golden retriever and an aunt to two German short-haired pointers that I absolutely love. I love taking dogs with me on walks and to run errands but I'm flexible depending on each dog's social skills. I'm an avid pet lover that will make sure your pet is getting all the love and attention it could want!
About: I have been around dogs since childhood and know how to treat them with respect. I love animals and will treat your beloved pet as if they were my own! I recently quit my job and am available most days for overnight sitting or walks! I keep my calendar up to date, but I am also flexible, so feel free to reach out with any scheduling concerns. I live in an apartment so unfortunately I can not offer boarding in my home. However, I am experienced in overnight pet sitting and have been a regular dog walker in college.
About: I have taken care of dogs and cats my whole life. I have done pet training which included house training, basic commands (i.e. sit, stay, come), and tricks (i.e. roll over, play dead, circle, beg). My mom was a dog handler and I’ve been lucky to have learned how to handle various unique training or walking routines. I have also watched cats for extended periods of time as well as having 2 in my home previously. I recently adopted a Siberian cat that’s dog and cat friendly as well. From playing, to cuddling, to watching birds out the window together, to bathing (willing and unwilling), I’ve done it all. If your cat is lead friendly, I can also take them on walks. I can bath, feed, train, and exercise most all dogs. I am a quick and independent learner with a passion for working with animals. I’m available to stay over weekdays and weekends so long as my schedule is available. My job will be requiring me to be in office throughout the week for the next few months, however location depending, I can provide midday potty breaks during my “lunch” hour. I’m more of a night owl than early riser, but I can accommodate most routines for your pet so long as it’s not earlier than 7AM. Since I frequently travel locally for work, I apologize for not being able to always accommodate bookings with under 2 weeks notice. I currently have 1 Siberian female cat that is dog and cat friendly, and well socialized to children and people. My home has hardwood downstairs and carpet upstairs. I live in a neighborhood with amble green space for walks and fetch for off leash dogs. I do not have a fenced in yard.
About: I have been giving love to animals all over the spectrum, either in my own home or volunteering at shelters. From young puppies and kittens to the precious seniors, I have cared for them all. Grooming, mild training, stimulating exercise and social interaction, administering medication/shots, preparing special meals, following a dieting plan, and showing unconditional love are all part of my skills. I am currently working a few shifts part time as a bartender, so I will be free during the day, having time to spend all morning and afternoon for care. My boyfriend, Donald, who also provides pet care (added on the Rover profile) , works during the day, and frequently stops by the house on his breaks, so there will always been someone qualified in the household (either your home or mine) to watch your little one! I currently live in a pet friendly neighborhood, walkable to a park, and plenty of trails and sidewalks around as well. I have a two bedroom, spacious apartment, with a large outdoor area for the pups to run around in. I currently have two kitties, and can keep them separated if needed.
About: I frequently watch my friend's and family's pets when they are out of town for work or vacation. This includes daily drop-ins or overnight stays depending on the duration of the trip and their needs. I once housed my friend's mini schnauzer for a month and a half while they finalized their move out of state. I am very active and welcome energetic dogs to join me on my walks/runs! I currently work in the service industry which calls for several late afternoon into late evening shifts. This clears up my weekday mornings and early afternoons for pet sitting. I do have a pet cat of my own so I am looking to care for pets outside of the home. It is important for me to meet the clients in person and go over their needs

“Joan is very patient with my somewhat aggressive dog. She arrived on time everyday and was super sweet with Tiger. She really goes above and beyond to bond with Tiger. I am definitely booking with Joan in the future.”

Brianna was a lifesaver! Stepped up last minute on a holiday and was amazing with my pups. She went above and beyond and treated all 4 of my animals with love and care and was extremely respectful of my home. I will be definitely booking her again and would recommend her to anyone.

Adreanna was great! She took excellent care of Tonto and was very easy to work with throughout the entire booking. I never had to reach out or worry about anything, and I always felt confident that Tonto was in good hands. For anyone with a senior dog, I highly recommend. I’m sure she’s great with all dogs as well. I would absolutely book with her again.

Yanke has been wonderful with our big anxious boy! He was a late Covid puppy and did not get much out of the house socializing. she has been great at handling him and he seems to really enjoy his walks with her! He does not like most people and is dog reactive. She has been able to handle him on walks no problem.

I’ve had a really great experience with my dog walker. He’s incredibly kind and attentive, and it’s obvious he genuinely cares about the dogs he works with. I have two dogs, and he handles both of them with ease, making sure they’re safe, happy, and well taken care of every time. One thing I really appreciate is that he always sends pictures during or after the walks. It gives me peace of mind knowing they’re doing well and actually enjoying themselves. You can tell he goes the extra mile—not just getting the job done, but making sure my dogs are comfortable and cared for like they’re his own. Overall, I couldn’t ask for a better person to trust with my dogs. Reliable, thoughtful, and clearly passionate about what he does.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
