About: I've taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 10, but been around dogs and cats since I was born. Neighbors, friends, and family have been able to rely on me to walk, feed, and care for their pets when they cannot. I also took many animal care classes in college while debating vet school and have volunteered at animal shelters on and off since I was a teenager. My current routine is flexible and mostly revolves around my kid's schedule. I've only recently left my job of 12 years for personal reasons so I have plenty of time to love on your pets! Even though the walks were booked for 30 minutes, she constantly went above and beyond. Whether it was an extra minute, five minutes, or even ten, she never seemed rushed and truly spent quality time with my dog. After every walk, I didn’t just get one quick picture. I can easily follow specific feeding instructions to keep your pets' diet consistent and potty-walks are a breeze! I have a flexible nightshift schedule that allows me to have more opportunities to take care of your furbaby. Being a nurse, I only work a few nights a week and can be available in and out of typical working hours to provide your pet care and attention! I will be available almost any day of the week for single or multiple daily check-ins, potty walks, zoomie-releasing play sessions in gated areas or carefully in your home, scheduled feedings and more! I live on the cusp of Knightdale, so commuting to the Triangle is not a problem, even for checking in every few hours. In their home, your pet probably feels most comfortable! I can provide them lots of fun and safe interactions while you are away, making sure they don't feel lonely as they wait for you to come back home! I'll always be sure to stay in the same room with them, you never know what kind of mischief they can get into if left to their own devices unsupervised! Breaking into the treat drawer won't fly under my radar! If your pet needs to stay at my apartment for any reason, I am on the first floor, so no stairs needed if that is a struggle for your pet. I do own two shy but friendly cats, but my apartment has enough space that they can be put in a separate room for a portion of the day while your kiddo and I hang out! We will probably just sit together on my couch while I read or watch TV together, nothing too loud that would cause any stress.
