About: I've been a pet person my whole life; I grew up with a childhood cat I adored, and today I have two cats of my own that I've raised from kittens. For the past 7+ years, I've cared for neighbors' and friends' cats and dogs, ranging from kittens/puppies to senior cats and dogs. I know that pets each have their own personalities and routines, and I take the time to learn what makes your pet comfortable so they aren't so scared when you are gone. About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and grew up with dogs, cats, birds, fish, rodents, and farm animals. Caring for pets has always been a normal part of life for me, both through my own animals and through pet sitting for friends, family, and neighbors. Over the years I’ve raised my own puppies and kittens, cared for senior pets, and managed medications and special care needs. One of my own dogs (German Shepherd Dog) was diagnosed with cancer at a young age, and I cared for him throughout treatment until he passed away at age four. That experience taught me how important consistency, patience, and close attention can be when a pet isn’t feeling their best. I also currently care for my senior dog who requires medication. Today I have a labradoodle that I’ve had since he was a puppy, two cats, and my senior dog. I take pride in training my dogs to be well-behaved and socialized. In addition to dogs and cats, as stated previously, I’ve cared for a wide variety of animals including lizards, snakes, chickens, rodents, fish, a sun conure parrot, horses, donkeys, alpacas, and pigs. I know every animal is different, and I do my best to learn their routines, personalities, and quirks so they feel comfortable while you’re away. Whether your pet is young and energetic, elderly, shy, or needs a little extra attention, I’ll care for them as if they were my own. I am a career biochemical scientist and lost my job in April. I am now having a blast working as a full-time stay at home mom. My 1 year old son also loves pets and would need to occasionally accompany me! I am available pretty much around the clock. I prioritize keeping pets on their normal routine as much as possible. I will follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, and any household rules you’ve established to the best of my ability. I know that consistency helps pets feel comfortable and reduces stress while their owners are away. In a client’s home, I will make sure pets receive plenty of attention, playtime, walks, potty breaks, fresh water, and companionship. About: I’ve been a lover of pets since I was a child and do my very best to give any and all of them as much love and care as possible. I’ve almost always had an animal in the house since I can remember and they’ve all been special to me in their own ways. While I am new to animal care as something other than just caring for my own furry (and fishy) friends, I do have experience from helping care for strays in my neighborhood, cat sitting for a friend and walking my neighbors dog. I strive to treat any and all animals as I would my own, with gentleness and respect. I am currently enrolled in community college which only demands for me to make time on Mondays in the morning for class. Other than that, my weeks look pretty open. I am flexible with scheduling and will communicate and be very upfront about any conflicts or if a job simply doesn’t fit into whatever plans I might already have. When taking care of another’s pets I will be as respectful as I can of the environment while staying attentive to the animal the full time. About: I've had German Shepherds, cats, and horses all my life. I fostered shy, scared cats from a shelter in Prague and got them all adopted, except my foster fail, Pepsi. I know how to coax out a hider and spot when a pet isn't feeling well. I've walked and dogsat large breeds, like huskies, staffies, labs, goldens, shepherds, collies, etc., and I'm comfortable with harnesses, muzzles, and waist leashes. I've given meds to many sick and senior animals (dogs and cats), using pill injectors and pill pockets. I can also do puppy basics like potty schedules and crate routines, if we keep a consistent schedule. I've volunteered at shelters since 2006, competed and been on training staff at horse competitions, farm sat, volunteered with therapeutic horse riding programs, and worked as a horse camp counselor. Taking care of animals has always been a big priority in my life :) My schedule is flexible, so I can fit visits around your day. Drop-ins are my specialty, and I'm available mornings, afternoons, and evenings most days. Overnights can be arranged if you need them. I also have family nearby who help with childcare, so last-minute requests are often doable if communication is clear. I reply fast and will always tell you early if something changes. At my home, my backyard is fully fenced appropriately for all sizes of dogs. Larger dogs get leashed walks (quiet neighborhood with no other dogs off leash) and supervised play. I have two friendly, dog- and cat-social German Shepherds and a cat, so we will have to arrange a meet and greet first. At your home, I'll follow your routines, keep doors and gates secured, and send regular photo updates.

About: I have taken care of the family cat for 8 years, as well as embracing being a cat mom to 3 and welcoming all animals in my life. Although my strongest suit has always been cats, I have walked and fed, and even in some cases, tended to sick dogs throughout my life. After all, for 6 years I had wanted to become a veterinarian for a reason. I will always be a dog person and cat person, instead of rather just choosing one side of the debate. In the coming months, I will also become a dog mom as well! If paying through Rover is also an issue, I have Venmo, PayPal and Zelle if that would provide an easier process for my customers. My shifts usually are quite flexible and I would let you know ahead of time if I am available or not due to a potential wedding (I do wedding photography). I tend to my own pet’s needs comfortably while working from home so the more pets around, it honestly is a breeze. Having weekends off, I open the doors for anyone especially needing a house sitter. I am willing to move things around to be more compatible with your schedule. I have dealt with mostly indoor cats, yet it is important to point out that I have been recently training my own cat in outdoor exposure. With dogs, I will gladly take them on outdoor walks or if they prefer playtime indoors, I would happily cheer them up. I have helped care for a special needs dog while being with my partner so I know how to handle all walks of life.
