We’ve been welcoming pups through Rover for 3 years, and we absolutely love having dogs as part of our household! We love dogs, but we don’t have one of our own right now. Our family dog recently lost his battle with cancer, and we aren’t quite ready to have another dog of our own. Rover gives us the chance to continue having dogs in our lives and love on them while they’re with us. We have a large, fully fenced yard with plenty of room to run, play fetch, sniff around, and have their own little adventures. We only take one dog family at a time, so your pup gets our full attention and doesn’t have to deal with the stress or chaos of a busy kennel. One of us works from home, so there is almost always someone around. We may need to step away for an hour or two from time to time, but in general, our home is a place where your dog will have plenty of company and attention throughout the day. Our home is a relaxed, family environment where dogs are welcome to hang out, lounge, play, and feel like they’re part of the family. We also have two kids who absolutely love having pups around and are always excited to have a furry house guest! We’re happy to accommodate your dog’s normal routine and have no problem giving medications or following special care instructions. We know every dog is different, and we want to make their stay as comfortable and familiar as possible. If you’re looking for a calm, loving home instead of a kennel, we’d love to meet your pup!

Shayne & Jessica were very accommodating when we had a delayed flight and had to extend the dogs’ stay for the night. We received text and picture updates!
Jessica & Shayne have such a lovely home and were very accommodating to Appa. We appreciated the videos of him having fun. We were also impressed with the extra effort taken to give him enrichment through water play.

Jessica and Shayne were amazing! Our dogs came home tired and happy, and enjoyed playing in their yard most days. We loved the updates and pics sent, and knew our pups were in good hands!
