About: I grew up with labs and retrievers but now live alone with my 2 cats (who are pretty much used to dogs, but still wary of them). I watch peoples dogs and foster with Saving Grace when I can so have experience with a wide range of dogs. I am an engineer but am taking time off from that job. One favorite thing to do with a dog I watch is taking them to my building’s fenced in private dog walk and playing fetch! I have a large dog crate if that is better for sitting/boarding but only if that is part of their normal routine. Pets are allowed on the furniture (also if normal) and since I have pets already, I have extra water around the apartment. Since I’m used to hosting dogs, I’m good at “cat proofing” the apartment and my unit has a good layout to separate the cats and the visiting pet if needed. I choose how to take out any dog based on their personality: dog walk at my apartment building, walks, local dog park, hikes, etc. I also have plenty of dog toys.

I had the luxury of pet sitting a raccoon and opossums. I currently own a 4-month-old toy poodle. I am in school, so I am available full-time because school is online right now. I have done pet training which included house training, basic commands (i.e. sit, stay, come), and tricks (i.e. roll over, play dead, circle, beg). “My family and I were preparing to head out of town for my birthday when we realized, in the middle of all the planning, that we had forgotten to schedule a sitter for Oakley. Like any dog mom would, I immediately went to Rover and was pleasantly surprised to see several sitters available. Prior to our arrival, she also shared information about her dog’s temperament, which I really appreciated. Throughout the weekend, Rebecca kept us updated with photos and videos of Oakley, which made us feel so comfortable while we were away. When we picked him up, he was excited to see us, but it was also obvious that he had a wonderful time with her. Oakley came home happy, and we are so thankful for the care Rebecca provided. I would absolutely recommend booking with her!”

“Kelly was awesome! This was my first time boarding my dog Finn with her. We had just recently moved to the area but still needed to take care of a lot of things out of town. Kelly was able to do a meet and greet with us beforehand and it went great. She has a huge fenced in yard for all the dogs to roam around in and play, and Finn fit in well with her and her dogs. During Finn's actual stay, he got comfortable in her home and made new friends with both the resident and visiting dogs. Kelly made sure to send me pictures and videos throughout his stay too, which I very much appreciated. It was obvious to me that Finn was well taken care of and that Kelly genuinely loves all the dogs in her care. She was also very accommodating with the drop off and pick up times. I will definitely bring Finn back to stay with her the next time there is a need. Thanks again Kelly! Finn will miss you, Miska, Ruby, and all the other dogs who came to play! :)”
