“Finley had a great time during his long stay while we were out of the country. Daily updates were provided including pictures and videos. Finley was super tired when we picked him up, indicating lots of great play time! Thanks again!”
“Angela is wonderful in every way. She’s a super nice person, she’s responsive, she sent me updates with photos and/or videos each day, her home is lovely and very dog-friendly, and her sweet little dog Arya is a friend to all. It felt so great to be able to truly relax on my vacation knowing my dog was in such good hands. He’s older and has been a little traumatized by traditional boarding in the past, but I could see how happy he was at Angela’s where she showered him with lots of love! Such a great experience. Won’t hesitate for one single second to do it again!”

“Hiroko took great care of Rosie. She sent lots of pictures and videos and gave Rosie plenty of indoor play time and outdoor walks, Our care instructions were closely followed as well. We were very pleaseed and will book with her again.”

About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I have almost always had a dog in my home, and was responsible for feeding, bathing, walking, and loving on my animals. I’m an active volunteer at the Wake County Animal Center, where I routinely walk dogs of all backgrounds and sizes. I do have a black lab at home who is a big sweetheart and is great with other animals. I just quit my full time job to pursue a startup business that will occupy a lot of my hours but will be fully at home. I have a dog at home who I walk 2-5 miles each day in between meetings to refresh myself and give her stimulation and fun! I have a fenced in yard with lots of great smells, as we are surrounded by trees. We have a black lab named Dixie who is always excited to show her new friends her backyard toys. I also am a big walker and enjoy taking dogs walking in my neighborhood for a mile or two at a time. I do not walk multiple dogs together, as I want to give each dog what they need from their outside time. We are very social people and routinely have friends come by the house. My dog loves extra love but we are happy to accommodate the needs of your fur baby while they are with us!

“Jacquelyn did a very good job with my dog. She sent pictures and updates each morning and night to let me know how he was doing. She was very easy to work with and I would rebook with her.”

“Amanda and Joseph are amazing. They are incredibly kind and took care of my pup like she was their own. They sent regular updates with photos. They were flexible and worked with me when I needed to change my travel schedule. I cannot say enough good things about Amanda and Joseph. I would book them again and again.”
“We were very pleased w the entire experience. We, with our two dogs, met Evan in advance to make sure everyone was comfortable and at that point I knew we were in good hands. Our babies had so much fun running around on a farm Happily recommend Evan.”

“Martine communicated thoroughly throughout Apollo’s stay and sent pictures & videos every day! She was so understanding when our flight was delayed and even kept him an extra night. It was so relieving to have someone you trust in stressful travel times. I appreciate her & Ronald so much and would recommend her highly!”

“Sue was excellent with my dog, Griffy! I was nervous about leaving him for a short trip, but that quickly went away when I brought my dog over for a meet-n-greet. He loved Sue, her dog Rufus, and the nice fenced in yard to roam around in. Sue sent lots of updates and i knew my dog was in great hands. I will definitely book with Sue again!”

“Bailey was fantastic! She was very accommodating to our last minute need for boarding. She was very communicative and sent many pictures! She kept our dog busy and happy. We’ll definitely rebook in the future!”

“Tori and her family took such great care of our small older dog who has some health issues including med administration needs and occasional pain due to previous cancer. Everything from getting holly to their home (Tori last minute offered to pick Holly Up and this was a godsend because our trip was last minute and we were trying to coordinate many other things) to start her visit to pick up and updates in between were great. Her sons are very gentle and natural animal lovers so that was not any concern even though our dog generally prefers calm environments. I would highly recommend Tori and her family for caring for your pet!”

“Your fur baby will be in good hands with Andrea! We boarded our pup with her for the weekend and I could not be happier! She’s very experienced working with dogs, having two dogs of her own. Andrea provided plenty of updates throughout our dog’s stay and met each of his needs. Our dog came home so happy and we could not be more thankful!”

“I was a little nervous leaving my dogs for 2 weeks, but Vanessa reassured me with updates and pictures daily. My dogs were well taken care of and I will definitely book again!”

“Our Mooshu came home from his ten day vacation with Genevieve so relaxed and happy! Usually he is traumatized by our being away, but Genevieve’s gentle sweet temperament kept him calm and chill. This has been the best experience for Mooshu in his six years in our family! We’re hoping Genevieve will be available to care for Mooshu during our next trip.”

“Cara and Stefan’s family were wonderful and attentive caretakers for our 5 month old puppy Daisy, a rambunctious Wheaten. We received daily photos on our weeklong trip. Daisy received plenty of attention including walks, playtime, and snuggles and had such a great time!”

“Kimberly was GREAT!!!! This was Meeko’s first boarding experience. We were both nervous ? Kimberly put us both at ease. I received photos throughout the weekend Meeko had a great time with Kimberly and I was able to enjoy my son’s wedding. Thank you Kimberly ?”

“Our first time trying a private sitter - and definitely not our last! Lauren was super attentive and welcoming, and Vigga just cozyed up to Lauren's kids for snuggles and a good time. Loved getting the daily updates from Lauren, letting us know that Vigga was settling well and having a good time away from home.”

“Madison did a great job caring for our boys while we were out of town. She was friendly and thorough and she clearly has a special touch to get our kitty who pouts when we leave town to come out of hiding on day one! We would definitely like to work with Madison again in the future.”

“Christina is a great sitter, she’s very communicative about how our cat was doing and when supplies seemed low so we could order more while we were away. She’s reliable and sent pictures/video. She has also done drop in visits for our two rambunctious dogs and they seemed happy to see her. We’ll definitely book with her again in the future.”

“Katelyn is a wonderful sitter for my pets. I have used her many times (at least 3-4 times a year for the past couple of years) and she is responsible, timely, and caring. I will continue to book Katelyn and would highly recommend her to others!”

About: I have experience caring for cats because I grew up with them and have owned several of my own over the years. I’m comfortable with feeding, cleaning litter boxes, playing, giving plenty of affection, and respecting each cat’s unique personality and boundaries. Whether your cat is playful, shy, or independent, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. My goal is to provide the same love and attention I would give my own pets.

About: I’ve grown up with cats my entire life, both indoor and outdoor, and have always been very comfortable caring for them. While I currently do not have a cat of my own, I have a dog that I care for daily, so I’m very familiar with pet routines and daily care. Because of my lifelong experience with cats, I understand their different personalities—some are very social and playful, while others prefer calm space and quiet attention. I’m comfortable feeding, cleaning litter boxes, and making sure cats feel safe, relaxed, and cared for while their owners are away. I genuinely enjoy being around animals and take pride in being patient, gentle, and attentive to their needs.

“Ashley is simply the best person to take care of any fur baby. I was going on a trip and decided to give Rover a shot in the last couple days before I was leaving. Needless to say, I was extremely nervous as I’ve never left my cat in the hands of a stranger. Ashley was super friendly and professional and understood all my concerns and went over and beyond to comfort me. She was excellent in communicating with me in regards to when she was coming and going and the care she provided. She sent me tons of pictures and videos while I was on my trip. She also made a point to always check in on me because she knew how nervous I was to leave Milo. I would HIGHLY recommend her. I could not have asked for a better person to care for my Milo. Will definitely use her again! ❤️”

“Haley is fabulous! She kept my cat fed, clean and loved. And she took care of me too with her reassuring photos and messages. At one point my cat peed outside of the box and Haley offered to take him to the vet if it continued (uti?). I thought that was above and beyond - it mattered a lot that she cared about him. Will definitely call Haley again!”

About: I have had many animals growing up, and as an adult have been able to adopt and train my own pup. I’m very familiar and comfortable with all kinds of dogs- from senior-just-want-to-cuddle dogs to hyper escape artists! I work from home full time and usually a homebody on the weekends- leaving plenty of time for your pets needs! I can be available for “after hours” drop-in visits. I like to be pretty active, so I can take your dog for a walk around your home or one of the many greenways or parks Raleigh has to offer. I work from home full-time with lots of carved out time in the morning and afternoons/evenings to do walks or short activities with your pets. After 5p, I am generally available to spend more time with your pets to ensure they get their energy out and other needs taken care of. Having a Shiba Inu myself, I am used to escape artists and always ensure doors are closed properly before leaving. I also take note of items that should not be on the floor, etc to make sure your pet is safe!
“Riley did an amazing job taking care of our two cats! Our cats looked so happy in all of the updates she provided; they usually hide on top of the cabinets with sitters, but they seemed so comfortable and playful with Riley. She is very professional and responds quickly to messages. We will definitely be using her again in the future!”

“Josie was great! We needed a dog-sitter last minute, and Juniper loved staying at their house for the day. Their dog was very friendly and got along great with Juniper. We will definitely look to rebook whenever we need to take Juniper to a doggy daycare!”

About: We’re an active, dog-loving couple who miss having a furry friend around - so we put all that energy into the pups we host. We raised a golden retriever for over 12 years, through eight different homes, which taught us how to stay flexible and make any space feel like home for a dog. We’ve also cared for the fur-babies of our friends and family over the years, so medium and large breeds are totally our comfort zone. Carleigh works from home every day, and John is home four days a week, meaning your dog gets tons of attention, playtime, and company. We’re not ready for a new pup of our own yet, but we love having short-term four-legged guests to spoil. Pet care fits naturally into our daily routine because one of us is almost always home, so your dog will get tons of attention, supervision, and company throughout each day. We love taking breaks to go on walks, play outside, or just hang out with a furry friend while we work. Since we’re already active and outside often, adding a dog to our routine is fun and effortless. We treat every dog like a temporary member of the family. Our home is clean, calm, and set up to be dog-friendly, especially for medium and large breeds. We pay close attention to routines, instructions, and any quirks or preferences your dog has. We’re big on communication - you’ll get updates, photos, and messages so you always know how your pup is doing. Whether it’s play time, relaxing, or sticking to their normal schedule, we make sure your dog feels safe, comfortable, and cared for from the moment they arrive.

About: I work from home so your dog will never be alone. As someone with a dog, I know the struggles of finding trustworthy care when you are away. I have years of experience with dogs and would love to be your trusted eye when you’re away. I work from home so your dog will have constant care! I’m never away from my home more than a few hours so your dog will be well protected! Daily walks and a fenced backyard! I have a 5 year old English springer spaniel and 1 year old son that will be here when boarding. Both are great with dogs and my son has good boundaries set with our dog already. All dogs in my care get the same love as my own dog. I will be with them all day in my home and have a fenced backyard for playtime.

“Bethany is the best!!! Our Smokey was very well taken care of! We were super late coming back and she was the sweetest! She’s definitely got a new customer!”
“Sally took great care of our pet dog. He was very happy with her and bonded well. Our requirements were odd in the sense that we had to drop and pick up our pet multiple times in the day/night and Sally accommodated us well. Thank you Sally.”
About: I’ve always had at least 1 dog my whole life, many times two along with various cats. I love dogs and truly enjoy their company. They will be taken care of as if they are my own. I have done quite a few fosters in the last couple of years. My present min pin is a foster fail. I have been doing pet sitting for a couple of years now and love meeting all the new dogs. Each one has their own personality that comes out as soon as their owner is halfway down the street. I love my repeat customers and know they feel comfortable leaving their fur baby with us. I love the Littles as they have such big personalities and they love to cuddle. I only board one dog at a time so you know yours will be well taken care of. I am retired and live in a very dog friendly neighborhood. Even though I have a fenced in yard I still walk my dog, Rufus McGoofus, three times a day. I have a fenced in yard and enjoy walking my dog ( and yours) in the neighborhood. The couch is always available for your pet as is the bed for those that like to sleep in the big bed. I have multiple window cushions available for your pup to watch the birds and squirrels.
“This was my first time having Rebecca care for my dog, Molly. Both Molly and I were very happy with the experience. Rebecca was very good communicator and sent pictures multiple times during the day. Molly was happy and a little reluctant to leave. We will definitely use Rebecca again when the need arises.”

“What a great experience with Martine and her husband. They obviously made Bryce feel welcomed in their home … as by the second day he went straight to her front door and didn’t look back while I was leaving. Also want to “shout out” her willingness to be a bit flexible with the schedule … (I was meeting a friend locally and wanted to be able to enjoy Raleigh for dinner (which was awesome at The Plate). This pet sitting experience enhanced my visit to Raleigh !!!”

About: First things, first. Why the long gap? I've been fostering dogs for 11 years and the last 3ish years has had some ups and down, including two very good bois being returned, and both needing some special care - one with anxiety, requiring patience and creativity; and one with reactivity. The last few years I have not taken new clients, focusing on my fosters, my animals, and friends dogs. I am happy to announce the pups are doing well in their respective homes, with the second being adopted in February. Woohoo. After the last adoption, I took some time to get my dog, Monti settled in to the new routine, and then decided to throw a kitten into the mix. Life finally seems settled, my last foster dog is doing amazing in his new home, and I am ready to take on a new client or two. I grew up around dogs, and continued my love of them into adulthood. I have had dobermans, and handled other working breads. I currently have a 3yo female Ridgeback who gets along with all dogs, even the grumpy ones. She is very calm with a goofy side, and seems to know what each dog needs from her. She will play if provoked but is fine with laying around as well. I also have a cat that has zero fear of dogs and likes to say hi and be part of the fun. He is definitely not dog savvy, and could get some dogs excited. I have room to seperate him if needed. As I stated above, I foster, and while energy is always different from one dog to the next, if they are dog friendly, I make sure to introduce them to new dogs slowly and properly. About the home: I have plenty of crate options in the home, as well as toys, dog beds, leashes, and other walking tools, so there will be limited supplies needed to be packed up for your pooch. I respect rules and training of owners. But I am also extremely good at spoiling them. While I am gone, I have an 11x9 'den' that is gated and houses the crates, but looks into the family room, and has a pet camera for viewing while I am gone. This space is a perfect dog space and used just for them. Beds, blankets, crates and toys are in the room providing a wonderful space for them to relax in while I am gone. About my yard Large lot with 5' fence. I am very active and would keep your dogs exercised, assuming they are active as well. I have easy access to Umstead if hikes/walks are allowed. Experience administering medication Yes - My dobie was on meds for 3.5 years - I know most tricks to get them to eat the meds. While I can handle shots, I'd rather not have to administer any to dogs that I am not familiar with, so a free drop in visit and discussion with owner would be required first. I am comfortable with eye drops, basic bandaging, etc. I have the resources to board multiple clients dogs at one time in my home, and reservations overlap. I will take the time to properly introduce all dogs to each other and monitor their interactions. I work from home and I spoil the dogs throughout the day. Lots of yard time and couch naps while I am working and then walks and adventures in the evenings. I have dog gates up throughout the house, use crates while I am gone, and set boundaries for new dogs. I introduce dogs slowly and properly. I feed dogs separately. And I keep an eye on energy levels ensuring dogs are in a comfortable state.
“My dog Cosmo clearly had an amazing time in Brittany's care! I received lots of pictures of him playing with other pups that I absolutely loved. Can't wait to bring him back!!”

“I highly recommend Siobhoan!!! I am always nervous leaving my dog with other people but I really want him to get out and play with other dogs. Siobhoan made me feel completely comfortable leaving Loki with her!!! She sent lots of pictures from his day and he looked like he was having a blast in all of them! Loki is good with people but sometimes takes a minute to warm up to them, when I came to pick him up he was giving Siobhoan and her husband lots of kisses and I could tell he really liked them as well!!! Loki came home happy and tired!! I will definitely be sending him back!!!”

I make sure they have regular potty breaks, exercise, and lots of attention. I’m attentive to behavior and any changes, and I always prioritize their safety and well-being. No matter the setting, I treat every pet like my own and keep owners updated with messages and photos so they feel confident and at ease.
“Caroline was an amazing sitter. She took Blaze with less than 12 hours of notice, for a 12+ hour day which was incredibly life saving. Blaze met Honey and Caroline the night prior and Caroline was very well educated on dogs in every topic and was very thorough on how Blaze’s day would look - which was awesome to know. She regularly updated with photos and videos. We have been home for 15 minutes and Blaze is already asleep. I cannot recommend Caroline enough, truly!”

I’m a nursing student and also work part time as a CNA at Duke Hospital, so I understand the importance of reliability and scheduling. I can provide pet care around my classes and work shifts, including mornings, evenings, and some weekends. I’m happy to work with you to find times that fit your pet’s routine so they get the attention, walks, and care they need. I take pet safety very seriously. In my home or yours, I make sure pets are always supervised and in a comfortable, secure environment. I keep areas clean, remove hazards, and make sure pets have access to water, food, and a cozy place to rest. I’m reliable, attentive, and treat every pet like they’re part of my family. Whether it’s cuddles, walks, or just keeping them company, your pet’s well being is my top priority

“Meghan is wonderful! I have a shy Bernese Mountain Dog who is very nervous around new people and she became fast friends with him. Would highly recommend her for your pups!”

“I had a great experience with Thais! She took wonderful care of my puppy and made me feel at ease while I was away. She kept me updated throughout his stay with plenty of pictures and videos, which I really appreciated. It was clear from the updates that he was happy, comfortable, and enjoying his time with her. I would definitely trust her to watch him again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable sitter!”

“Evelyn is wonderful. When I drop Harper off and pick her up you can tell that she is being cared for with so much love. They go on activities together and I get daily updates. To me it looks like Harper gets very well integrated into Evelyn’s family and I am so grateful. We will 100% be booking again. Evelyn is our go to!”
