About: We’re an active, dog-loving couple who miss having a furry friend around - so we put all that energy into the pups we host. We raised a golden retriever for over 12 years, through eight different homes, which taught us how to stay flexible and make any space feel like home for a dog. We’ve also cared for the fur-babies of our friends and family over the years, so medium and large breeds are totally our comfort zone. Carleigh works from home every day, and John is home four days a week, meaning your dog gets tons of attention, playtime, and company. We’re not ready for a new pup of our own yet, but we love having short-term four-legged guests to spoil. Pet care fits naturally into our daily routine because one of us is almost always home, so your dog will get tons of attention, supervision, and company throughout each day. We love taking breaks to go on walks, play outside, or just hang out with a furry friend while we work. Since we’re already active and outside often, adding a dog to our routine is fun and effortless. We treat every dog like a temporary member of the family. Our home is clean, calm, and set up to be dog-friendly, especially for medium and large breeds. We pay close attention to routines, instructions, and any quirks or preferences your dog has. We’re big on communication - you’ll get updates, photos, and messages so you always know how your pup is doing. Whether it’s play time, relaxing, or sticking to their normal schedule, we make sure your dog feels safe, comfortable, and cared for from the moment they arrive.

About: I work from home so your dog will never be alone. As someone with a dog, I know the struggles of finding trustworthy care when you are away. I have years of experience with dogs and would love to be your trusted eye when you’re away. I work from home so your dog will have constant care! I’m never away from my home more than a few hours so your dog will be well protected! Daily walks and a fenced backyard! I have a 5 year old English springer spaniel and 1 year old son that will be here when boarding. Both are great with dogs and my son has good boundaries set with our dog already. All dogs in my care get the same love as my own dog. I will be with them all day in my home and have a fenced backyard for playtime.

About: I have had dogs my whole life, ranging breeds and ages. I treat your babies like my own if not better! I genuinely care. I have stayed in homes, stopped by to feed/ let them out, even playing I have always done. I spend time loving your dogs and making them feel safe while you’re gone! I currently am unemployed (just moved here from NY)! I’m trying to slowly transition and figured I’d give rover a try since I’ve taken care of a lot of dogs in my life! I’m available all throughout the week anytime! Weekends strictly during the day! I do live in an apartment but I have a puppy who is trained and vaccinated who loves to play and does know boundaries when they are set! I always take walks every 2-4 hours and constantly play and make sure they are safe and comfortable with me! When staying other places, I make sure the dog is aware that I am going to be there feeding/ walking and in general treating them like I would in my own.

About: I've taken care of our dogs for 30 years from puppy stage to end of life i will take good care of your furry babies Im retired and am home all day most of the year I'm punctual, I can pick up and drop off your furry babies within certain distance I have a yard which is not fully fenced in, but I'm able to walk them once or twice during the day we have a standard poodle who is 3 years old and is super friendly who loves to play with other dogs

About: I grew up with animals my whole life! I grew up with 3 dogs and 2 cats! I was an only child so they got ALL my time. I loved taking them for walks and taking them on outings. As my dogs got older my sweet molly unfortunately got cancer within the same month she broke her back leg. I’d do anything and everything for her I’d carry her, make her fresh food, change her bandaids, bathed her and of course give her lots and lots of love! Hi! I’m currently a hairstylist and student, so my schedule can look a little busy, but I do my best to stay flexible for your pets! I’m unavailable Tuesday-Thursday from 9am-7:30pm but I’m committed to making sure your pets receive the care, love, and attention they deserve! I currently can board small dogs that are house trained, and are 100% okay with cats. Crate/Kennel train is preferred, but not required. Send me a message and let’s discuss!

About: I am an animal lover, since I was little I have always had dogs and cats in my house and I have loved them as my family, I love spending time with them, playing, giving them attention and their company, this job seems excellent to me because I will be able to do something that I like that is taking care of pets and you have nothing to worry about because I know how important that little family member is for you I only work 3 hours in the morning so your pet will always be under great care. I have plenty of time to walk your pets and spend time with them:) My house is a very safe and very comfortable house for your pet. I will follow all the care instructions for your pets of course and make sure they are comfortable.

About: First things, first. Why the long gap? I've been fostering dogs for 11 years and the last 3ish years has had some ups and down, including two very good bois being returned, and both needing some special care - one with anxiety, requiring patience and creativity; and one with reactivity. The last few years I have not taken new clients, focusing on my fosters, my animals, and friends dogs. I am happy to announce the pups are doing well in their respective homes, with the second being adopted in February. Woohoo. After the last adoption, I took some time to get my dog, Monti settled in to the new routine, and then decided to throw a kitten into the mix. Life finally seems settled, my last foster dog is doing amazing in his new home, and I am ready to take on a new client or two. I grew up around dogs, and continued my love of them into adulthood. I have had dobermans, and handled other working breads. I currently have a 3yo female Ridgeback who gets along with all dogs, even the grumpy ones. She is very calm with a goofy side, and seems to know what each dog needs from her. She will play if provoked but is fine with laying around as well. I also have a cat that has zero fear of dogs and likes to say hi and be part of the fun. He is definitely not dog savvy, and could get some dogs excited. I have room to seperate him if needed. As I stated above, I foster, and while energy is always different from one dog to the next, if they are dog friendly, I make sure to introduce them to new dogs slowly and properly. About the home: I have plenty of crate options in the home, as well as toys, dog beds, leashes, and other walking tools, so there will be limited supplies needed to be packed up for your pooch. I respect rules and training of owners. But I am also extremely good at spoiling them. While I am gone, I have an 11x9 'den' that is gated and houses the crates, but looks into the family room, and has a pet camera for viewing while I am gone. This space is a perfect dog space and used just for them. Beds, blankets, crates and toys are in the room providing a wonderful space for them to relax in while I am gone. About my yard Large lot with 5' fence. I am very active and would keep your dogs exercised, assuming they are active as well. I have easy access to Umstead if hikes/walks are allowed. Experience administering medication Yes - My dobie was on meds for 3.5 years - I know most tricks to get them to eat the meds. While I can handle shots, I'd rather not have to administer any to dogs that I am not familiar with, so a free drop in visit and discussion with owner would be required first. I am comfortable with eye drops, basic bandaging, etc. I have the resources to board multiple clients dogs at one time in my home, and reservations overlap. I will take the time to properly introduce all dogs to each other and monitor their interactions. I work from home and I spoil the dogs throughout the day. Lots of yard time and couch naps while I am working and then walks and adventures in the evenings. I have dog gates up throughout the house, use crates while I am gone, and set boundaries for new dogs. I introduce dogs slowly and properly. I feed dogs separately. And I keep an eye on energy levels ensuring dogs are in a comfortable state.

About: Hey there! We are Jesse and Diana and we live in the heart of Cary with our teenage daughter, 9 year old black lab mix Delta, 5 year old whippet Skadi, and 4 year old chihuahua Pepita. We also have two cats, Steve and Max who are 12 and 8 and are great with all dogs. Sometimes I think Max is more of a dog than a cat! Our dogs are good girls (spayed) and absolutely love to play! We have about a half acre fenced back yard that they can run freely in to get out all their zoomies. Both of our dogs are fully vaccinated and on flea & tick medication. We have had dogs all our lives and they have always been an important part of our family. We have experience with training certified therapy dogs as well. Our golden retriever, Molly was actively involved in working with Alzheimer's and dementia patients as a certified therapy dog. She passed away last year at 14 years old. She was a good girl. We understand all dogs have different needs and we will be extremely accommodating. Additionally, we work from home so your dog would never have to be alone. Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions! We work from home, which gives us the time to be here for your pup! We also try to be very flexible with pickup and dropoff times to make it as convenient as possible. We have a completely fenced backyard (approx. 1/2 acre), which gives the dogs the space to run, play, and to just burn energy in a safe environment! They are never alone and always supervised when playing in the backyard.
