“Ana was so understanding about us not being able to show up with our dog and communicated the whole way through! Thank you Ana, even though we couldn’t make it to have you watch our puppy!!”

“Drake is an excellent sitter and communicator! We are so happy to have found him. Tank enjoyed playing with Stella in the spacious backyard and came home worn out. Thanks again for an awesome day of daycare!”

“Tania is such a kind and dependable rover friend. She was professional, easy to communicate with, and I can depend on her. My dog was taken excellent care of. She got to play in their backyard, take a walk on the greenway, and Tania updated me with pictures and videos even when I didn’t expect it!! I’m so thankful I’ve found another rover family I trust.”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and really appreciate how they enrich my life in multiple ways. I recently lost my beloved Ripley and am opening myself up to some temporary dog companionship to help both myself and others. I am a responsible adult (I have a successful career and a PhD) and I’m also a parent. I work from home for weeks at a time, but I try to maintain an active lifestyle. I try to get 15k steps in every day, which is much easier with dogs around. As a result, I am able to walk dogs that I board multiple times throughout the day. I also enjoy regular jogs around a nearby lake. This is also much easier with a dog. If your dog likes to run, I can take them for 3 mile jogs, which I am currently doing solo. I have a single family home and a fenced yard. I have a screened in 2nd story deck with stairs to the yard. It is a great spot for both humans and canines to relax. It’s fairly private with a wooded area in the back, where squirrels and birds are pretty active during the day. Dogs love it (and so do I). I often had to force Ripley to come inside before bed; she would fall asleep out there and not want to move. I have owned mostly large dogs (100+ lbs), but I have also looked after very small dogs as well. I’m 6’2” and pretty active, so there’s no dog too big for me to handle. I can lift them into the car without trouble if that’s necessary. Just to recap - if you’re looking for a reliable dog lover to look after your pet, whether it be for boarding, day-sitting, walks, or runs (or all of the above), give me a shout. They will definitely enjoy themselves with me. I work from home and try to stay active, so I am pretty flexible with pet care. I take regular walks and/or jogs outside, so I would’ve around most of the time and they would get regular exercise and attention I have a single family home with a fenced yard. It has a 2nd story screened and roofed/covered deck with stairs to the back yard. It’s fairly private with a small wooded area in the back. For day-sitting or boarding, pets can basically come in and go out as they please.

“Rebecca is a wonderful Rover sitter! She sent adorable photos and videos of our pup throughout the day, and made us feel very secure with Boba being in her home. We highly recommend contacting Rebecca for pet care and will be booking with her in the future!”

About: What sets me apart is my hands-on experience in veterinary clinic settings, combined with my background in pet sitting and doggy daycare. As a pre-vet student, I have a strong understanding of animal health, behavior, and safety, so your pet is in knowledgeable and attentive hands. I’m comfortable caring for pets of all ages and needs, from energetic puppies who are still learning the ropes to senior pets who require extra patience, gentle handling, and close monitoring. I pay attention to details like changes in behavior, appetite, or energy levels, and I’m confident in administering basic care routines as needed. Beyond experience, I truly treat every pet like my own. I focus on creating a safe, loving, and low-stress environment, whether that means active playtime, structured routines, or just extra cuddles and reassurance. Pet care fits naturally into my routine! I’m only in class for about 2 hours a day and work part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility to provide consistent care, walks, and check-ins throughout the day. I’m especially available on weekends, where I have open availability for walks, drop-ins, and boarding. I make sure to plan my schedule around the pets in my care so they get the attention, exercise, and companionship they deserve. I tailor my care to each pet’s routine and personality to help them feel as comfortable and stress-free as possible. In my home, I provide a safe, clean, and pet-friendly environment with plenty of attention, playtime, and structured routines for feeding, walks, and rest. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to maintain their normal schedule so they feel secure in their familiar space. I follow all instructions closely, whether that includes feeding routines, medications, crate training, or preferred walking routes. I’m experienced with pets of all ages, including puppies who may need extra patience and structure, as well as senior pets who require gentle care and closer monitoring. I also keep owners updated with regular messages and photos, so you always know your pet is happy and well cared for.
“Sloane is the BEST!! Her updates are detailed with lots of photos, and as an anxious dog mom, I really appreciate that! Cooper has such a great time with her and always comes home tired from all the fun. 10/10, cannot recommend more!”

“My two pups Buddy & Peanut enjoyed their social time with Amanda, the children, the other pups, and of course Mel. So similar to the home environment they are use to (with a few extra friends) vs a loud barking & over populated daycare/kennel. No stress and pups come home tired and happy!!”

About: What sets me apart is my lifelong experience with dogs and the level of care I provide. I grew up helping my grandparents raise and care for puppies, so I’ve been around dogs of all ages—from newborn puppies to senior dogs—for as long as I can remember. I was also fortunate to have my own dog for 13 wonderful years, and caring for him taught me so much. He required a strict medication schedule, a specialized diet, and daily attention, so I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions and giving extra support to senior dogs or pets with special needs. As a registered nurse, providing compassionate, attentive care comes naturally to me. Over the years, I’ve taken my dogs to training classes and grooming appointments, and I’ve even groomed them myself. I also spent many years pet sitting for neighbors and walking dogs around my neighborhood. I understand that every dog has a unique personality and routine, and I treat every pet with the same patience, love, and attention I’d want for my own. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my routine!!! I’m a registered nurse and work three 12-hour shifts each week, which means I have several days off with plenty of time to dedicate to caring for pets. On my days off, I enjoy being active, going on walks, and spending time outdoors, so having a dog to accompany me makes it even more enjoyable. I have my schedule far in advance, in order to plan accordingly! Caring for animals is something I genuinely enjoy, and spending time with pets is a great way for me to relax outside of nursing. I’ll always make sure every pet gets the love, attention, and care they deserve. When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, my priority is making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while keeping their routine as consistent as possible. I know every pet has their own personality and needs, so I take the time to learn about their schedule, feeding routine, favorite activities, medications, and any special instructions before each stay. As a registered nurse, I’m detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable following specific care plans. Whether that’s administering medications, sticking to strict feeding times, or recognizing changes in behavior, I take every responsibility seriously. I love staying active, so I’m happy to provide walks, playtime, enrichment, and plenty of attention. I live in a town home in a very pet friendly neighborhood, with lots of greenery and places to walk/ run and hang in the yard. For pets who prefer a quieter environment, I’m just as happy to spend time cuddling, relaxing, and giving them companionship. I’ll also keep owners updated with photos and messages so they can have peace of mind knowing their pet is happy and well cared for. I treat every pet as if they were my own, with patience, kindness, and lots of love.
“Arden is the best! She took us in last minute and was super flexible with my schedule. Pups were happy and seemed to warm up to her immediately. We are from a different state so we didn’t get the chance to meet beforehand but I was confident she’d be a great fit and was correct! Anytime we are in town she will be our go to ☺️”

About: I previously provided pet care on Rover and took some time away. I’m now back and excited to welcome new clients! I’m committed to reliable, attentive care and keeping you updated every step of the way. I’ve been around dogs my entire life, and caring for them comes naturally—it’s something I truly enjoy. I’m often the “aunt” to my friends’ dogs, and I treat every pup with that same level of affection, patience, and attention. My priority is making every dog feel safe, comfortable, and at home. I take the time to understand each dog’s routine, personality, and needs—whether they’re an energetic puppy or a more relaxed senior. While I don’t offer formal training, I’m patient and consistent with reinforcing positive behavior and providing gentle, attentive care. My goal is always to create a calm, loving environment you can feel confident leaving your dog in. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to accommodate morning, afternoon, evening visits. I work a 9-5, but I'm available before and after work, as well as full availability on my days off. I'm committed to making time to give your pets the care and attention they deserve. I create a safe, calm, and loving environment whether I’m caring for pets in my home or a client’s home. I follow each pet’s routine closely to keep things consistent and stress-free, including feeding, walks, and rest time. Safety and trust are my top priorities—I monitor pets closely, ensure secure surroundings, and treat every pet like family.
“Dawn is a great dog sitter. She took lots of photos, and her dog Rice was a wonderful host too! She took care of Ruby and Toasty for the day in her home as a "trial run" to make sure all 3 dogs were compatible so we will definitely be using her in the future for extended stays. Highly recommend.”

“I’m so glad I found Daniela! You can tell that she is very kind, good natured and really cares for dogs. It was my first time using Rover, so I was a little nervous, but it worked out perfectly! She was very reassuring and communicated with me throughout Priss’ stay.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - West
Lauren did an excellent job looking after Koda. We felt very comfortable leaving Koda with her and I am sure that Koda got lots of attention and had a great time. We were visiting Raleigh for the weekend, when we visit again we hope she will be available to take care of Koda again. Thanks Lauren!
He was very friendly and responsive and accommodating. He was very observant to how river was feeling about being in a new place for the first day. He made sure all rivers needs were met including taking him on his own special walk to potty. He also sent pictures throughout the day to make me not worry. I plan on letting him sit for River the next few weeks.
