I work from home, so I have plenty of flexibility to care for your pup throughout the day. I can do multiple walks a day, stick to your preferred schedule, and give your dog lots of attention and playtime. I live in a very walk-friendly neighborhood with a large dog park, which is perfect for getting in some fresh air and exercise! I only board potty-trained dogs to keep things clean and comfortable for everyone. I do have a medium-sized crate available if you prefer your dog to have their own space at night instead of free roaming. My main priority is keeping your pet safe, happy, and relaxed while you’re away. I make sure they get the care, love, and attention they need in a calm and comfortable environment.

About: Hey there! We are Jesse and Diana and we live in the heart of Cary with our teenage daughter, 9 year old black lab mix Delta, 5 year old whippet Skadi, and 4 year old chihuahua Pepita. We also have two cats, Steve and Max who are 12 and 8 and are great with all dogs. Sometimes I think Max is more of a dog than a cat! Our dogs are good girls (spayed) and absolutely love to play! We have about a half acre fenced back yard that they can run freely in to get out all their zoomies. Both of our dogs are fully vaccinated and on flea & tick medication. We have had dogs all our lives and they have always been an important part of our family. We have experience with training certified therapy dogs as well. Our golden retriever, Molly was actively involved in working with Alzheimer's and dementia patients as a certified therapy dog. She passed away last year at 14 years old. She was a good girl. We understand all dogs have different needs and we will be extremely accommodating. Additionally, we work from home so your dog would never have to be alone. Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions! We work from home, which gives us the time to be here for your pup! We also try to be very flexible with pickup and dropoff times to make it as convenient as possible. We have a completely fenced backyard (approx. 1/2 acre), which gives the dogs the space to run, play, and to just burn energy in a safe environment! They are never alone and always supervised when playing in the backyard.

About: What sets me apart is my lifelong experience with dogs and the level of care I provide. I grew up helping my grandparents raise and care for puppies, so I’ve been around dogs of all ages—from newborn puppies to senior dogs—for as long as I can remember. I was also fortunate to have my own dog for 13 wonderful years, and caring for him taught me so much. He required a strict medication schedule, a specialized diet, and daily attention, so I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions and giving extra support to senior dogs or pets with special needs. As a registered nurse, providing compassionate, attentive care comes naturally to me. Over the years, I’ve taken my dogs to training classes and grooming appointments, and I’ve even groomed them myself. I also spent many years pet sitting for neighbors and walking dogs around my neighborhood. I understand that every dog has a unique personality and routine, and I treat every pet with the same patience, love, and attention I’d want for my own. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my routine!!! I’m a registered nurse and work three 12-hour shifts each week, which means I have several days off with plenty of time to dedicate to caring for pets. On my days off, I enjoy being active, going on walks, and spending time outdoors, so having a dog to accompany me makes it even more enjoyable. I have my schedule far in advance, in order to plan accordingly! Caring for animals is something I genuinely enjoy, and spending time with pets is a great way for me to relax outside of nursing. I’ll always make sure every pet gets the love, attention, and care they deserve. When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, my priority is making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while keeping their routine as consistent as possible. I know every pet has their own personality and needs, so I take the time to learn about their schedule, feeding routine, favorite activities, medications, and any special instructions before each stay. As a registered nurse, I’m detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable following specific care plans. Whether that’s administering medications, sticking to strict feeding times, or recognizing changes in behavior, I take every responsibility seriously. I love staying active, so I’m happy to provide walks, playtime, enrichment, and plenty of attention. I live in a town home in a very pet friendly neighborhood, with lots of greenery and places to walk/ run and hang in the yard. For pets who prefer a quieter environment, I’m just as happy to spend time cuddling, relaxing, and giving them companionship. I’ll also keep owners updated with photos and messages so they can have peace of mind knowing their pet is happy and well cared for. Carleigh works from home every day, and John is home four days a week, meaning your dog gets tons of attention, playtime, and company.
