“Alexandra looked after my dog and cat while I was away on a work trip. She was always quick with replies and attentive to my dog’s needs while walking her in the hot weather! She was flexible with scheduling the initial meet and greet, pet visits, and took good care of my pets! Will hope to use her services again when needed in the future.”

“Emily was able to take my doggo out SUPER last minute after I didn’t have time to this morning. Sadly, by the time she got there (I had booked his walk too late, this was in no way her fault), he had an accident. Emily was super sweet and helpful. She cleaned up the mess for us, even when I told her it wasn’t necessary. Bentley seemed to really enjoy his time with her! He was smiling so big in the pictures! Thank goodness there are people like Emily on this Earth to make tough moments a lot easier!”

“So so reliable. Absolutely wonderful with my puppy. Her communication was great. Always punctual. Capture lots of cute pictures. Would be very happy to have her watch my dog again.”

About: I have taken care of my own dogs since I was 15 and I started taking care of friends’ dogs and cats soon after that. I believe it is important to understand animals and their needs first and foremost. Each animal is unique and I will approach each animal in a way that is appropriate based on your insight. I like to match an animals energy to ensure they feel safe. I work remote, so I have a very flexible schedule this summer to hang out with your pets! Rain or shine I’ll be around unless otherwise indicated on my calendar :) I will always keep an eye on animals to make sure they are eating, drinking, and pottying okay! I am very detail-oriented and will look out for key signs that something is off. I also want to make sure they get enough stimulation and I will make sure they get their energy out!
About: I grew up surrounded by animals thanks to my mom working at a veterinary clinic and bringing home every pet that needed a second chance. That experience sparked a lifelong love for dogs and just about anything with legs. I’m extremely active, patient, and happiest around pets that enjoy movement, play, and adventure as much as I do—while still knowing when it’s time to slow down and give calm, attentive care. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to easily fit pet care into my routine. I’m available most evenings, weekend mornings, and many afternoons after class, which makes it easy for me to provide consistent, attentive care and spend quality time with your pet. I provide care in my clients’ homes, ensuring pets stay comfortable in their familiar environment and routines or will gladly have them join me for the day in my own home. I’m confident handling large dogs, using crates when needed, administering medications, and following any specific care instructions you provide. I have personal experience with one of my own dogs having diabetes. I also take pride in keeping your home safe and secure during and after each visit, always leaving it just as I found it.

About: With extensive experience caring for both cats and dogs, I understand that every pet has a unique personality and individual needs. From playful puppies to wise senior dogs, and curious kittens to independent adult cats, I provide compassionate, personalized care for all. I offer extra patience and comfort to older pets, including assistance with mobility and special attention to their changing needs. As both a cat owner and a “fur momma” to an anxious dog, I’m skilled in managing the unique behaviors and preferences of cats, ensuring they feel safe and comfortable. I’m also experienced in administering oral and topical medications to both cats and dogs when needed. Recognizing signs of stress or anxiety comes naturally to me, allowing me to adjust care to keep pets calm and happy. Above all, I’m dedicated to providing loving, attentive care that feels like a true home away from home for your furry family members. As a teacher, my schedule offers a great balance that allows me to provide attentive and flexible pet care. During the school year, I have frequent breaks that give me extended availability to focus on your pets with dedicated time and care. On weekdays, I’m available in the late afternoons and evenings—perfect for dogs who need a walk or playtime after a busy day. I’m also free on weekends, which means I can offer consistent and reliable care when many others might be unavailable. Whether it’s daily visits, overnight stays, or longer-term pet sitting during holidays and breaks, I tailor my schedule to meet your pet’s needs and ensure they feel loved and well cared for. Your pet’s safety and well-being are my top priorities, whether I’m caring for them in my home or yours. I create a calm, secure, and pet-friendly environment where your furry friend can feel relaxed and happy. I respect your space and routines, following any specific instructions you provide to maintain consistency for your pet. I keep all areas safe and clean, ensuring food, water, and playtime are managed carefully. I’m attentive to any potential hazards and remove or avoid them to keep your pet safe.
“I spent a week here in town for work and was so lucky to have found a wonderful dog sitter like Caitlin! She has been so kind to my little corgi, Winnie. And made sure to treat her like one of her own! Caitlin kept me updated every day with fun pictures of seeing my pup out in the world and happily enjoying some nature and sunshine. I will gladly reach back out to Caitlin if I am in Greenville again!”

About: I am a recent NC State graduate (May 2026) with a B.S. in Zoology and minors in Spanish and Wildlife Sciences. I have been a pet owner my whole life, and currently have a yellow lab named Leo and a calico cat named Scout at my parents house in SC. I have previously also been a proud owner of a guinea pig (Penny) and a crawfish (Big Mama). I am in the Raleigh area until the end of July when my lease is up, and I would love to look after your pets!!! I love animals and have animal care experience from interning at the NC Zoo, BeWild Reptile Rescue, and the NC Museum of Natural Sciences during college. I started babysitting and pet sitting in high school, and would love to continue it while I’m in Raleigh for the summer! As a recent graduate, most of my time is currently spent applying to jobs or organizing the townhouse for my move out in late July! I would love to spend my daytime availability with your fur babies, whether it be in home visits, walks, etc. I live in a townhouse with two kitties (my roommates) and have room in my room or downstairs to accommodate your pets! Our townhouse has extensive green space and a safe neighborhood for daily walks.

“Shaquilla is awesome with my puppy. I highly recommend her. She had been walking Cash for a little more than a month now. The best part is she takes him to a dog park near the house.”

West dog parents share their Rover experiences
Katherine is absolutely fantastic and we are so thankful for her! I appreciate and thoroughly look forward to her updates and photos when she is with my dog or taking him for a walk. She is very trustworthy, reliable, communicative, thorough, and thoughtful regarding any pets needs or requests. I 1000% Katherine to anyone looking for a Rover!

I really enjoyed meeting Tashia. She was consistent, pleasant and helpful. She was great with Hennessy and communication was 100%. I am definitely going to rebook and look foward to building a consistent relationship with Tashia in the future. HENSSY AND I THANK YA 😊

Lauren was absolutely amazing, and I would recommend her to anyone looking for someone to care for their dog. I booked her for a 30-minute walk every day around noon, and I told her I was very flexible with timing. She was always reliable and showed up when scheduled, but what really stood out to me was how much she genuinely cared about my puppy. Even though the walks were booked for 30 minutes, she constantly went above and beyond. Whether it was an extra minute, five minutes, or even ten, she never seemed rushed and truly spent quality time with my dog. After every walk, I didn’t just get one quick picture. I would get several adorable photos along with detailed updates about everything they did. She would let me know about their walk, any interactions they had, and even small thoughtful things like cleaning out his water bowl. You can tell Lauren is not just doing this as a job. She genuinely loves dogs and enjoys spending time with them. That kind of care, attention, and thoughtfulness is rare, and it gave me so much peace of mind knowing my puppy was in such good hands. I’m so grateful for her and will absolutely book with her again!

I’ve had a really great experience with my dog walker. He’s incredibly kind and attentive, and it’s obvious he genuinely cares about the dogs he works with. I have two dogs, and he handles both of them with ease, making sure they’re safe, happy, and well taken care of every time. One thing I really appreciate is that he always sends pictures during or after the walks. It gives me peace of mind knowing they’re doing well and actually enjoying themselves. You can tell he goes the extra mile—not just getting the job done, but making sure my dogs are comfortable and cared for like they’re his own. Overall, I couldn’t ask for a better person to trust with my dogs. Reliable, thoughtful, and clearly passionate about what he does.

Jenna has been absolutely amazing! My dog can be intimidating to most, but she was confident and kind from the moment they met. Now my pup adores her and gets excited for their walks. We’re so grateful to have found someone we trust completely. Highly recommend! 🐾
