About: I’ve had my own dog and cared for him for 12 years. Growing up, we had a family dog that I loved and helped care for as well! I’ve got experience with dogs of all ages and am happy to tailor your pets experience to your desires. I’m happy to provide training, having trained my own dog to the canine good citizen standards, or just reinforce whatever training your pup currently is undergoing. I’ve also had experience watching cats and am happy to provide care for them outside of my home. I am currently working part time and come home at lunch to let dogs out and feed as needed. I live in a quieter neighborhood with safe places to walk and am also happy to take them to many of the locations I take my own dog for longer outings such as Lake Johnson or Lake Raleigh I have a small fenced in back yard where your dog and mine will be regularly let out to sniff and eliminate as needed. My own dog is taken on two long walks a day along with shorter walks to sniff and eliminate but am happy to accommodate what is needed for your dogs specific needs. Dogs are allowed on the bed and furniture and I can accommodate a dog that is crated. I do sleep upstairs as my place is two floors, but if your dog is uncomfortable going up stairs, I can stay on the first floor with them.
“Alexandra looked after my dog and cat while I was away on a work trip. She was always quick with replies and attentive to my dog’s needs while walking her in the hot weather! She was flexible with scheduling the initial meet and greet, pet visits, and took good care of my pets! Will hope to use her services again when needed in the future.”
About: **NOT ACCEPTING BOOKINGS FROM AUGUST 17 TO JUNE 13 FOR THE 26-27 SCHOOL YEAR** I had a dog who was reactive and had behavioral issues, so I’m very experienced in all types of dog personalities. I also recently adopted a cat! I'm very good with all animals and love them unconditionally, I've pet-sat for multiple people throughout my lifetime and I want to continue to do it. I am currently working full time as a WCPSS school counselor and part time as a clinical therapist, so I'm only available on weekends and throughout the summer, but my hours are WIDE open most of the time during the summer months. I promise to love your animal and treat them as if they were my own. Since I work full time in WCPSS, I only accept bookings on weekends during the traditional calendar school year (late August-mid June). During the summer I only go into work once a week and make my own schedule as a therapist, so I have all the flexibility in the world! Since I had a reactive dog with behavioral issues, I have learned how to get along with dogs of all temperaments. Whether your dog is slow to warm or happy right away, we will get along just fine!
“Pam is amazing!! She is so loving to our dog Coco and has worked so hard with training her on the leash and has even done research on how to help her. She has gone above and beyond and we are so lucky to have her!”

“Lauren was absolutely amazing, and I would recommend her to anyone looking for someone to care for their dog. I booked her for a 30-minute walk every day around noon, and I told her I was very flexible with timing. She was always reliable and showed up when scheduled, but what really stood out to me was how much she genuinely cared about my puppy. Even though the walks were booked for 30 minutes, she constantly went above and beyond. Whether it was an extra minute, five minutes, or even ten, she never seemed rushed and truly spent quality time with my dog. After every walk, I didn’t just get one quick picture. I would get several adorable photos along with detailed updates about everything they did. She would let me know about their walk, any interactions they had, and even small thoughtful things like cleaning out his water bowl. You can tell Lauren is not just doing this as a job. She genuinely loves dogs and enjoys spending time with them. That kind of care, attention, and thoughtfulness is rare, and it gave me so much peace of mind knowing my puppy was in such good hands. I’m so grateful for her and will absolutely book with her again!”

About: Hello, it’s Moriah! I am a biology student working towards the chance to get into veterinary school. With nearly five years of experience in veterinary medicine. Currently, I work as a veterinary assistant in the small animal emergency and ICU departments at NC State’s College of Veterinary Medicine. At the CVM, my job consists of caring for animals with a wide range of medical needs such as respiratory distress, diabetes, seizures, and other debilitating diseases. With that being said, I am experienced is administuring/providing… -oral medication -subcutaneous and intramuscular injections -and providing senior care, as my senior “baby” is 15 years old :) Beyond my experience in veterinary medicine, I have spent my life caring for animals of all kinds. I have owned everything from high-energy German Shepherds to high-maintenance poodles, and let's not forget about my highly loved cats. Additionally, I have firsthand experience training and working with a reactive dog. I understand the patience, compassion, and consistency that many pets need. As a pet owner myself, I understand the importance of trust it takes for someone to allow you to watch their pet. Therefore, my goal is to give you peace of mind by treating your pets with the same love and patience I give my own. As a full-time student with a part-time job, some may say I like to keep my schedule booked. However, this is not 100% true. One of the perks of working as a Veterinary Assistant is that I can make my own schedule. This allows me to plan my availability around the pets in my care whenever possible. If you book with me about a month in advance, I can often arrange my work schedule to dedicate more time to your pet throughout your booking. For shorter-notice requests, I'm still happy to accommodate pet sitting or dog walks before classes, between classes or work shifts, in the evenings, or on weekends whenever my schedule allows. This would usually mean early morning drop-ins/early morning walks before 8:00 am, or midday walks around 11:00 am- 2:30 pm, and even evening strolls after 5:00 pm. Regardless of when you book, your pet’s care will be my priority. I'll ensure that they receive the care that they deserve. Additionally, I will always be communicating with you for the purpose of updates and questions that may arise. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priority. Every pet is different; therefore, I tailor each visit to meet their individual needs while following any instructions you may provide. {Dog walks = 30 mins} A standard dog walk is 30 minutes. During the dog walk, my goals are to provide great exercise and mental stimulation for each walk. This includes stopping and working for treats with basic tricks, whatever your pet already knows. Due to my work experience, your pet's safety must come first. Therefore, if temperatures are too hot, pavement is unsafe for their paws, or I notice any signs of overheating or respiratory distress, I may cut the walk short and may spend the remainder of the time indoors or under the shade providing enrichment. Lastly, I understand that you will provide their designated collar or harness for the walk, but I always will include my slip lead in every walk to prevent your dog from slipping out of their harness or collar. *If you would prefer me not to use my personal slip lead in addition to your harness or collar, please let me know* *Will only give the pet treats that you provided to avoid any possible reactions to treats that they have not tried* {Drop-In Visits} *If you are out of town or gone for more than 24 hours from my initial drop-in visit, I require two drop-in visits a day to ensure your animal is safe* Each drop-in visit is 30 minutes and is customized to your pet's needs. Depending on your pet's needs, I offer -Potty breaks/play time in a fenced-in backyard or leashed walk -Enrichment/ mental stimulation -Feeding and fresh water - Oral medications or other approved medications - Litterbox cleaning (every drop in) - A LOT of cuddles, if your pet approves :) *If you would prefer longer visits or additional care for another pet, extended visit options are available for additional fees* {Additional Info} As stated above, I will always send pictures or videos, and each visit or walk will consist of a video/picture of initial arrival, a video/picture during, and a video/picture when leaving. I will also message you a short summary of how the visit went, so you can decide if you think I am the right match for you. RECOMMENDED: If you feel like you or your pet would like to meet me first, I highly recommend scheduling a meet and greet prior to the service! This will give us the opportunity to discuss your pet's routine, medical needs, and behavioral concerns while also allowing your pet to become acquainted with me.
“So so reliable. Absolutely wonderful with my puppy. Her communication was great. Always punctual. Capture lots of cute pictures. Would be very happy to have her watch my dog again.”

About: Growing up in a small town on the East Coast of NC (OBX), I grew up with and raised plenty of dogs. From Chows, Cocker Spaniels, to even tea cup breeds. Your fur baby will be just as happy with me, as they are with you! At the moment, my availability is flexible, which lets me accommodate most schedules. I’m happy to work around your pet’s routine, whether that means daily visits, weekend care, or something more consistent. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to discuss scheduling — I’ll do my best to find a time that works well for both of us. Your fur baby will be comfortable and warm in my home. I live near a lake with a nice trail, which is perfect for walking. Your dog will also have company and play with my own dog Macho, a six year old Labradoodle. There is a dog park in the apartment complex I stay. Of course, with your permission, I will take your dog into it to burn off some energy, but out of caution, I will not take your dog into the park if there are others in there as well. This is for your fur baby’s safety.
“Xiaoyu is the best! She has great communication, she’s on time and is always reliable. She takes great care of my pup, he loves her so much. I I try to rebook with her as much as possible!!!”

About: I love animals and have taken care of pets since I was a kid. I recently brought two puppies to the US from Puerto Rico to be adopted (the program is called “Flight Angels”) though I definitely thought of taking them home myself! I often care for my dad’s dog, who is diabetic and on the older side, so I am no stranger to getting up at the crack of dawn to give your pup medication and frequent walks. I have also cat-sit for years, and recently gotten my own mischievous kitty. I work from home which gives me the availability to be there for your pet. Whether it’s a midday check in to keep your cat company, lunch dates with your puppy, or week long housesitting, I am happy to be there for you and your furry friend. Don’t be hesitant to reach out, I would love to get to know you and your pet! I work remotely with an hour lunch, and I am happy to visit your pet during the hours that fit your needs. Depending on the distance I can also stop by throughout the workday. A typical day would include two to three long walks around your neighborhood, enrichment time playing a few games, and of course feeding time as often as needed for your pet.
About: I’ve been a sitter for family/friends/neighbors countless times 🐾 I’m on summer from medical school and looking to get outside and care for your fur babies. ***Please note: I cannot accept bookings for medium-large dogs who are not trained to not jump or won’t listen to commands to not jump*** I’m accustomed to basic training and would be happy to use the owner’s specific corrections/reinforcements they use. I do my best to keep my schedule here synched with my school and personal schedule. Message me a request first as the app doesn’t have the most user friendly calendar. I am happy to spend the time with your pet however they would like to. My dog is nervous, so I have expertise is working around that and being patient with nervous pets. I also love getting to play, train, and walk dogs!

Alyssa was amazing!! My dog has been wary at first around other sitters but he had no nerves with Alyssa whatsoever. Booked last minute with her and she was able to come and give my dog all the attention and care he needed! Will be booking with Alyssa again for sure.

Abigail has taken care of both my pups (over 50lbs each) with so much grace. I know how much two big dogs can be and she always takes such great care of them. I love seeing the photos she takes and she’s always quick to respond when I need to communicate with her.

Rusty seemed very happy on his walk and in good spirits when we got back! They took a great stroll and the pictures were really sweet! Courtney even hung out with our pup a little while after to make sure he hadn’t overheated on a very hot day. We’ll definitely have her back.

Hennessy and I absolutely adore Tashia. She is so great with her. I even notice a difference when I walk her now she seems to be walking much better. Tashia is constant and Communication is A1. I’ve been booking with her for over a month now and 10/10 recommend.

Alexis responded quickly to my booking request and messages. She was friendly and responsive and did a great job with my energetic collie mix. I appreciated her thorough notes on their walks and pictures. Alexis handled my pup with kindness and care and made sure he had food, water and toys per my instructions. She was very communicative. She did a great job; I definitely recommend her and will book again.
