About: I’ve been around dogs for as long as I can remember—they’ve always been part of my life. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities, from playful puppies to more laid-back or shy dogs. I’ve helped with walks, feeding, and everyday care, and I really enjoy spending time with them. Friends and family trust me to look after their pets because they know I’m reliable and genuinely care. I treat every dog like my own and make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I work from home, so I have a very flexible schedule and can spend plenty of time with your pet throughout the day. I’m able to adjust to your pet’s routine, whether that’s regular walks, feeding times, or just keeping them company and making sure they’re not alone. I live in a pet-friendly 2 bed, 2 bath apartment with a spacious and bright living area where pets can feel comfortable and relaxed. There’s a greenway right downstairs and Dix Park nearby, which makes it very convenient for safe and enjoyable walks. I always keep a clean, calm environment and pay close attention to each pet’s needs, making sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for.
“Heidi was great!! My dog is an apartment dog now, but he once was a backyard dog. He’s not super used to the whole going on a walk in the city thing, and she did fantastic! He has severe reactivity issues and that wasn’t an issue for her. He went 2 and a half miles (way longer than i’d ever have the time to do) and it’s worth every penny. I will def use her again for future walks!!”
“Adreanna was absolutely amazing with our dog. She was very attentive and provided a detailed over view of everything that was going on, leaving us without any questions or worry. 12/10.”

“I couldn’t be happier with my experience with Sophia! She helped me out last minute, was quick to respond, and treated my dog Tiko like her own. He came back happy, calm, and well cared for. Communication is great. Highly recommend!!”

“Garrett did great with my dog bubba who is not a fan of new people 😂 I’m glad that he was able to handle my little man syndrome dog with care ! And take him for nice long walks while we were away”
“Nicole was very responsive and sent me lots of pet photos while I was away! She even included pictures of my cat who she was not being paid to take care of. She was very patient with my dog who tends to be scared of new people. I highly recommend Nicole!”

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats my whole life. I have done pet training which included house training, basic commands (i.e. sit, stay, come), and tricks (i.e. roll over, play dead, circle, beg). My mom was a dog handler and I’ve been lucky to have learned how to handle various unique training or walking routines. I have also watched cats for extended periods of time as well as having 2 in my home previously. I recently adopted a Siberian cat that’s dog and cat friendly as well. From playing, to cuddling, to watching birds out the window together, to bathing (willing and unwilling), I’ve done it all. If your cat is lead friendly, I can also take them on walks. I can bath, feed, train, and exercise most all dogs. I am a quick and independent learner with a passion for working with animals. I’m available to stay over weekdays and weekends so long as my schedule is available. My job will be requiring me to be in office throughout the week for the next few months, however location depending, I can provide midday potty breaks during my “lunch” hour. I’m more of a night owl than early riser, but I can accommodate most routines for your pet so long as it’s not earlier than 7AM. Since I frequently travel locally for work, I apologize for not being able to always accommodate bookings with under 2 weeks notice. I currently have 1 Siberian female cat that is dog and cat friendly, and well socialized to children and people. My home has hardwood downstairs and carpet upstairs. I live in a neighborhood with amble green space for walks and fetch for off leash dogs. I do not have a fenced in yard.
About: I grew up with dogs my entire life, including a dachshund and an English bulldog, and my grandma down the street had two Great Danes and a chihuahua. The smaller dogs kept me on my toes (always ready to play!), while my bulldog taught me a lot about caring for dogs with health needs. And the Great Danes, they are such gentle giants with lots of drool! While I don’t currently have a dog because I travel often, I truly love them. I enjoy being outdoors and think dogs make the perfect companion. I’m reliable, hardworking, and observant, and I genuinely care about making sure every pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for. I’m a graduate student with a fairly flexible schedule. I already spend a lot of time at home and enjoy going on walks, so pet sitting fits naturally into my routine. I’m very organized and intentional with my time, and I always make sure to prioritize the commitments I’ve made especially when it comes to caring for your pets. I’m very adaptable and always aim to match your pet’s normal routine so they feel as comfortable as possible. In my own life, I’m clean and organized, and I treat others’ homes with the same level of respect. You can expect everything to be just as you left it. My goal is to make your time away as seamless as possible for your pet, so their routine stays consistent and their transition when you return is easy. I’m very loving and attentive, and I’m happy to give lots of affection or respect their space, whatever best fits their personality and needs.

“Trevor has been incredibly caring and loving to my puppy Leia, hes always been great, communicative and cared for her as well as I do. Would recommend trevor to anyone!”

“Ellen was amazing!! She helped me out taking care of my dog when I requested last minute. He came back as happy as could be and most importantly all tuckered out 😂 will definitely be booking a walk with her again”

About: I’ve had at least one dog for my entire life and spent many years taking care of cats in my neighborhood before moving for college. I volunteered with the Humane Society for a few summers and have lots of experience caring for animals in all ways. I’m currently working part time so I have a good amount of time to spend time with your pets! My schedule is fairly flexible and will be able to work with you to make sure i’m meeting you and your pet’s needs. I have experience crating dogs and with things like baby gates within the house. I am very on top of cleaning up any potential messes and will leave your home in the same condition it was before I came in.
About: I've had two cats living on my own for the past four years, so needless to say I have plenty of experience with cats. I also have a family dog who I’ve taken care of for several years now, even house/dog sitting for my parents when they go away! I'll have plenty of time to play with your pets as the startup companies I work for keep failing to meet revenue goals and laying people off! So I have plenty of time now! I love my cats with my whole heart and would treat anyone else's pet like they're my own. Playing with cats is always a joy and meeting new cats is so fun because they're all so different!
About: I have always loved dogs. I have cared for dogs of all sizes and breeds. When dog sitting I mostly just do walks but can also play catch or frisbee with your dog if they enjoy that. I am available most days from 7am-11pm to walk your dog. I am very trustworthy, honest and reliable and will keep your dog in the best care possible. I live in Raleigh, NC and look forward to meeting you and your dog. I’m sure we’ll have fun during our time together :) *If you’re dog requires special diet, medications, or care I’m comfortable with whatever they need to be happy! Thanks, Brendan I work from home so would be happy to take care of your pet whenever is needed. Anytime 7am-11pm would be alright for me. Hopefully that sounds good to you! I live in an apartment complex. I’m walkable to several great parks nearby and would be happy to spend some time there with your dog :)
About: I have years of experience dealing with pets. I owned four pit bulls until their passing. Then, I owned four more for 2 years. I have pet sat for friends and family for 5 years. I had the luxury of pet sitting a raccoon and opossums. I currently own a 4-month-old toy poodle. I am in school, so I am available full-time because school is online right now. I prefer overnight appointments but anytime works. I'm usually home all day. IMPORTANT: For my safety, pick-ups and drop-offs should be before 6 pm. Pick-ups after 6 pm will incur a $20 fee. There is a big backyard for playing. I bring my poodle to the park for a jog in the mornings. I live by a big park for dogs as well.
“Highly recommended!! She was great with my cat and dog and had great communication. I felt at ease having her come visit with my pets. Would definitely book with her again.”

“Ella did a wonderful job walking and caring for our dogs. She was very communicative and on time and left pictures and notes about their walk. I felt very comfortable knowing my pups were in caring hands! I would not hesitate to use her services again.”

“Katherine was great with communicating and sent photos during her visit, she showed up on time and followed all of my instructions. I will definitely use her again.”

About: I have many years experience looking after my own two dogs, from puppyhood to retirement. I was also a student intern at a canine rehabilitation center. I am comfortable around pets of all shapes, sizes, breeds, and backgrounds, and would be honored to assist in their care! I am currently finishing an internship so I am usually most available in the evening and on weekends, but I do occasionally have daytime availability depending on my schedule. I am happy to work together and find the best time that works for you! I am unable to keep pets in my apartment at this time due to the rules of my lease agreement. I'm more than happy to adhere to guidelines and rules in your own home to keep your animals safe and keep your privacy secure.
Central dog parents share their Rover experiences
I’ve had a really great experience with my dog walker. He’s incredibly kind and attentive, and it’s obvious he genuinely cares about the dogs he works with. I have two dogs, and he handles both of them with ease, making sure they’re safe, happy, and well taken care of every time. One thing I really appreciate is that he always sends pictures during or after the walks. It gives me peace of mind knowing they’re doing well and actually enjoying themselves. You can tell he goes the extra mile—not just getting the job done, but making sure my dogs are comfortable and cared for like they’re his own. Overall, I couldn’t ask for a better person to trust with my dogs. Reliable, thoughtful, and clearly passionate about what he does.

Megan always does a wonderful job walking Cooper when I’m at work! She is very communicative and provides an update about each visit and photos from the walk and/or playtime. She goes above and beyond what is asked of her when needed - today, she arrived to find that Cooper had gotten into the trash and littered it all over the downstairs. Without complaint or me having to ask her, she cleaned all the trash up while I was gone and then let me know what had taken place. This is just another one of many reasons I would highly recommend Megan if you’re ever in need of her services!
Sophia has taken excellent care of my dog! She is reliable, prompt, personable, responsible and kind. She follows all of my care instructions to the letter and consistently performs at a very high level. I would not hesitate to work with Sophia and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a great walker or sitter.

I cannot say enough good things about how great it has been having Katy walk Ned following my surgery. It really helped keep Ned happy and eased my mind that he was taken care of until I could handle walks again. Ned loves her and would sit by the door waiting for her to arrive. I will definitely use Katy again in the future!

Elias is one of the best! He takes care of Clément by giving him extra love, following directions on taking care of him, keeping me updated throughout the day, sending photos and videos, and playing with him. He is such a nice and caring person, and people should book him with hesitation! 100% recommended!!!

Riley is amazing!! She is the best pet sitter my dog Max ever had! He loves her so much!! Riley is truly an exceptional pet sitter. This is the second time we've had her walk our dog Max, and once again she went above and beyond. From the moment we reconnected, it was clear how much care and attention she puts into understanding Max’s routine and personality. Throughout the visit, Riley provided regular updates, adorable photos, and thoughtful notes that gave me complete peace of mind. Max was relaxed, happy, and clearly well-loved when I returned home. I can’t recommend Riley highly enough—she treats Max like her own. We’ll absolutely be booking with her again! Thank you so much Riley!
