“Heidi was great!! My dog is an apartment dog now, but he once was a backyard dog. He’s not super used to the whole going on a walk in the city thing, and she did fantastic! He has severe reactivity issues and that wasn’t an issue for her. He went 2 and a half miles (way longer than i’d ever have the time to do) and it’s worth every penny. I will def use her again for future walks!!”

About: I’ve owned and cared for dogs since childhood and have always been the “pack leader.” I worked as a full-time vet assistant for many years, and know how to care for healthy and sick animals alike. I have reliable transportation, and am happy to transport animals as needed. I am also not squeamish and am able to clean up any accidents or messes that occur. In addition to my experience with dogs, I have also owned and cared for cats and exotic animals. I’m physically fit and can lift over 150 lbs. I enjoy engaging in outdoor and indoor activities with animals. I’m attentive, punctual, and fun-loving! While barks, scratches, and bites do not scare me, please let me know ahead of time about any of those Being a large issue so that I am prepared. I’m patient and able to work with the most stubborn of dogs. I am a stay at home husband and actor who has gigs throughout the week usually in the evenings. Therefore, I will often have availability during the day for any walks or check-in’s needed. Me and my wife foster regularly, and will normally have at least a dog or a cat on top of our seven animals that we own, so I’m no stranger to animal care. I don’t take any careless risks when walking dogs, I make sure harnesses and collars are secured and that leashes are in working order, and get all the details on what to do and where to go ahead of time as well as what to avoid on walks. As for cats, I’m very mindful about making sure they stay in the house at all times unless otherwise specified by the pet parent.
“I couldn’t be happier with my experience with Sophia! She helped me out last minute, was quick to respond, and treated my dog Tiko like her own. He came back happy, calm, and well cared for. Communication is great. Highly recommend!!”

“Adreanna was absolutely amazing with our dog. She was very attentive and provided a detailed over view of everything that was going on, leaving us without any questions or worry. 12/10.”

About: I grew up with pets, and throughout college most of my roommates had pets. I'm more than comfortable taking care of puppies and older pets and pets in between! If your pets need special care I am happy to give them the specific attention you'd expect of me. I can take your pets on walks, runs, I can play in the yard, I can give endless pets and cuddles and make sure they don't even notice you're gone for the day :) I am a baker at Benchwarmers Bagels who is looking to be a part time friend to your pets :) I'm very active, so long walks/playing at the park would fit perfectly into my schedule just as easily as quick house visits! I don't have pets of my own at the moment, but I am more than comfortable taking a dog (or cat!) for a walk, coming into your home to play with your pet in the yard, or what have you! If you are gone for days on end, I am definitely comfortable coming by for days on end--morning, noon, and night!
About: Hi! I’m Arden, and I’ve been caring for pets for more than 15 years. In Austin, I worked with the same families for over a decade, providing everything from daily walks to overnight house sitting. Now in East Raleigh, I’m excited to bring that same dedication to new pets (and their people!) here. I work from home, which means your pet gets plenty of attention throughout the day. I live in a quiet central neighborhood on a dead-end street, so walks and playtime are safe and relaxed. My fenced yard is perfect for outdoor time, and since it’s just me at home (no kids or other pets), your dog will have my full attention. To keep things calm and comfortable, I only host up to three dogs at a time. This helps me maintain a clean, peaceful space and ensures every dog gets the individual attention, care, and affection they deserve. 🐾 Important Note: If your dog prefers to be the only pet in the home or doesn’t get along well with other dogs, just let me know in your message. If no other dogs are booked, I’ll block off the calendar so your pup can have the house (and my attention) all to themselves. What I Offer: - Safe, fun walks (including greenway adventures, if you’d like) - A secure fenced yard for play and potty breaks - Extra care and patience for senior or high-needs dogs - Frequent updates and photos, so you always know how your pet is doing - Flexible communication—I’m quick to respond and always available by text - Happy to do a meet-and-greet or in-person interview before booking Your pet’s comfort and happiness are my top priorities. I know how important it is to have peace of mind while you’re away, and I take pride in providing reliable, caring, and thoughtful service every time. I’d love to meet your sweet pet and make them feel safe, happy, and loved. Please don’t hesitate to reach out—I can’t wait to connect with you and your furry family member! I work from home full-time (8–5:30) and have a very flexible schedule. Since I’m home most days throughout the workday, your pet will never be left alone for long. I like to take a couple of walks each day, and I’m always happy to bring your dog along for fresh air and exercise. I live in a quiet, central neighborhood on a dead-end street—safe, calm, and perfect for pets. My fenced backyard (with a covered workshop area) provides a secure place for dogs to play and potty. Whether in my home or yours, I prioritize keeping pets comfortable, safe, and loved.
About: I’ve taken care of different animals since I was about 10. I grew up with a diabetic cat and a small dog, who I loved to help take care of. Now I have my own dog who is around 70 pounds. I’ve been taking care of him for a little over 2 years now! I have free time as I am in remote classes for the summer. I’m looking for a way to fill my free time and be productive! I’m excited to take care of your animals. I have been taking care of my own dog for a little over 2 years now and I’ve helped my friends take care of their dogs. I love being around furballs all day long!
“Andrea is an excellent walker and caregiver for my dog! She is always prompt, professional, and personable. She is a great communicator and very easy to work with. I would not hesitate to book with her :)”

About: I grew up in home with dogs and cats. In my adulthood I’ve cared for many friends and families pets as well as having my own pets throughout the years. I’ve worked with puppies who need lotsa attention and senior dogs who require timed food/medication schedules. I am a mom to school aged kids and do a lot around the house to earn income which keeps my life fairly flexible. I can work within most peoples schedules and timing expectations. I live in a quiet neighborhood on a cul de sac with a fenced in yard that opens to a park. I’m also very close to a handful of dog parks. The kids and I live a balanced life of activity and rest that we love to include pets in.
“Excellent job! booked for an entire month out and never had any issues, provided plenty of updates and photo each walk! I always felt my dog was safe and well cared for while I was at work”

“Joan is very patient with my somewhat aggressive dog. She arrived on time everyday and was super sweet with Tiger. She really goes above and beyond to bond with Tiger. I am definitely booking with Joan in the future.”
“Sarah was a wonderful sitter to take our girl, Millie, off of our hands for a few hours so we could celebrate our baby shower! I would not hesitate to have her watch Millie again! Thank you Sarah ?”

About: I adopted my first dog Benson when he was 6 and cared for him through his senior years. I started fostering in 2020 to give him company. I've cared for litters of (too) young puppies through adults and seniors dealing with medical and behavioral issues, and from every breed and size. My two current dogs, Keeley & Brisket, are foster fails. I've always loved dogs and will love your dog as much as my own. Why I love dog sitting I've loved dogs my whole life. I got my first dog, a black lab, when I was 3. I sat for friends' dogs since college and volunteered with the Humane Society. I finally have my own dogs but still love meeting and caring for other dogs. Meet my pets Keeley is a 4 year old chow mix that loves herding people to the couch for snuggles. Brisket is a supermutt puppy still learning her manners but friendly with all dogs and people. My cat, Meowedith, is a ~16 year old rescue. She's very sweet but takes a little time to get comfortable with new people and dogs. She is fine with dogs if they give her her space when she wants it. About my yard I have a fenced in backyard. My experience administering medication I administer pills and injections through Freedom Ride Rescue. I work from home and will be available most of the day for meals, potty breaks, walks, and playtime. I live near downtown so if I go out on the evenings or weekends I am close to home to check in on the pups! I have a fenced in yard for running around and live near the greenway for walks. I have a ton of dog beds everywhere and dogs are allowed on the furniture. I also have a spare room if your dog needs their own space away from me or my dogs.
“Brooke was wonderful with our 2 dogs and walking them while I was out of town. She came on time every day and provided a picture and walking card after each walk so I could follow along virtually. Thank you so much!”

North Central dog parents share their Rover experiences
I cannot say enough good things about how great it has been having Katy walk Ned following my surgery. It really helped keep Ned happy and eased my mind that he was taken care of until I could handle walks again. Ned loves her and would sit by the door waiting for her to arrive. I will definitely use Katy again in the future!

Elias is one of the best! He takes care of Clément by giving him extra love, following directions on taking care of him, keeping me updated throughout the day, sending photos and videos, and playing with him. He is such a nice and caring person, and people should book him with hesitation! 100% recommended!!!

When it says Erica loves animals it is no joke. My Chloe is almost 14 and just maybe a little spoiled. So she even has a walking route that she prefers and Erica did a great job abiding her 🤦🏼♀️🥰 If you want tender loving care book with Erica!! I certainly will be using her again and again

If you need a reliable and kind dog sitter or walker - look no further! Pierceson has been walking our pup several times a week for a while now, and it has been so great having her! She is so personable and friendly, we can count on her and our dog always has a great time with her!
