“My family and I were preparing to head out of town for my birthday when we realized, in the middle of all the planning, that we had forgotten to schedule a sitter for Oakley. Like any dog mom would, I immediately went to Rover and was pleasantly surprised to see several sitters available. I reached out to a few profiles, and Rebecca D. responded right away, which immediately gave me peace of mind. Rebecca was incredibly kind, responsive, and easy to communicate with. We quickly coordinated a plan for dropping Oakley off, and the process was seamless. When we arrived, Rebecca was already outside waiting for us and gave clear instructions on where to park. She even invited us inside, which we politely declined, but I thought it was such a thoughtful gesture. About: I’ve had dogs, cats, birds, bunnies, snakes, and even a tarantula while growing up, but canine companionship has been a constant throughout my life. I have watched many pets for friends and family throughout high school, college, and into my adult years. About: Dog lover who isn’t quite ready for one of my own yet. My family has two dogs who are my whole world, and I miss them now that I’ve moved out. I work from home a couple days a week as a graphic designer, so I’m always looking for an excuse to step away from the computer for some fresh air and quality dog time. About: I've had dogs growing up as long as I can remember! I've always grown up in a two-dog household and love being surrounded by dogs! I am a photographer and a coach! I have quite a bit of free time to spend with the pups. If it's not to hot outside, we like to spend our days on walks or in the park. About: I grew up with labs and retrievers but now live alone with my 2 cats (who are pretty much used to dogs, but still wary of them). I watch peoples dogs and foster with Saving Grace when I can so have experience with a wide range of dogs. I am an engineer but am taking time off from that job. One favorite thing to do with a dog I watch is taking them to my building’s fenced in private dog walk and playing fetch! I have a large dog crate if that is better for sitting/boarding but only if that is part of their normal routine. Pets are allowed on the furniture (also if normal) and since I have pets already, I have extra water around the apartment. Since I’m used to hosting dogs, I’m good at “cat proofing” the apartment and my unit has a good layout to separate the cats and the visiting pet if needed. I choose how to take out any dog based on their personality: dog walk at my apartment building, walks, local dog park, hikes, etc. I also have plenty of dog toys.

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats my whole life. I have done pet training which included house training, basic commands (i.e. sit, stay, come), and tricks (i.e. roll over, play dead, circle, beg). My mom was a dog handler and I’ve been lucky to have learned how to handle various unique training or walking routines. I have also watched cats for extended periods of time as well as having 2 in my home previously. I recently adopted a Siberian cat that’s dog and cat friendly as well. From playing, to cuddling, to watching birds out the window together, to bathing (willing and unwilling), I’ve done it all. If your cat is lead friendly, I can also take them on walks. I can bath, feed, train, and exercise most all dogs. I am a quick and independent learner with a passion for working with animals. I’m available to stay over weekdays and weekends so long as my schedule is available. My job will be requiring me to be in office throughout the week for the next few months, however location depending, I can provide midday potty breaks during my “lunch” hour. I’m more of a night owl than early riser, but I can accommodate most routines for your pet so long as it’s not earlier than 7AM. Since I frequently travel locally for work, I apologize for not being able to always accommodate bookings with under 2 weeks notice. I currently have 1 Siberian female cat that is dog and cat friendly, and well socialized to children and people. My home has hardwood downstairs and carpet upstairs. I live in a neighborhood with amble green space for walks and fetch for off leash dogs. I do not have a fenced in yard.

I am available every day of the week starting June 30th seeing that i am home for the summer from college. I am available during the hours of 8am-8pm and am interested in house sitting. I have a fenced yard for my dog to keep them from getting out and my cat is an inside cat who stay in the upstairs bedrooms

About: I adopted my first dog Benson when he was 6 and cared for him through his senior years. I started fostering in 2020 to give him company. I've cared for litters of (too) young puppies through adults and seniors dealing with medical and behavioral issues, and from every breed and size. My two current dogs, Keeley & Brisket, are foster fails. I've always loved dogs and will love your dog as much as my own. Why I love dog sitting I've loved dogs my whole life. I got my first dog, a black lab, when I was 3. I sat for friends' dogs since college and volunteered with the Humane Society. I finally have my own dogs but still love meeting and caring for other dogs. Meet my pets Keeley is a 4 year old chow mix that loves herding people to the couch for snuggles. Brisket is a supermutt puppy still learning her manners but friendly with all dogs and people. My cat, Meowedith, is a ~16 year old rescue. She's very sweet but takes a little time to get comfortable with new people and dogs. She is fine with dogs if they give her her space when she wants it. About my yard I have a fenced in backyard. My experience administering medication I administer pills and injections through Freedom Ride Rescue. I work from home and will be available most of the day for meals, potty breaks, walks, and playtime. I live near downtown so if I go out on the evenings or weekends I am close to home to check in on the pups! I have a fenced in yard for running around and live near the greenway for walks. I have a ton of dog beds everywhere and dogs are allowed on the furniture. I also have a spare room if your dog needs their own space away from me or my dogs.

“My family and I were preparing to head out of town for my birthday when we realized, in the middle of all the planning, that we had forgotten to schedule a sitter for Oakley. Like any dog mom would, I immediately went to Rover and was pleasantly surprised to see several sitters available. I reached out to a few profiles, and Rebecca D. responded right away, which immediately gave me peace of mind. Rebecca was incredibly kind, responsive, and easy to communicate with. We quickly coordinated a plan for dropping Oakley off, and the process was seamless. When we arrived, Rebecca was already outside waiting for us and gave clear instructions on where to park. She even invited us inside, which we politely declined, but I thought it was such a thoughtful gesture. Prior to our arrival, she also shared information about her dog’s temperament, which I really appreciated. Throughout the weekend, Rebecca kept us updated with photos and videos of Oakley, which made us feel so comfortable while we were away. When we picked him up, he was excited to see us, but it was also obvious that he had a wonderful time with her. Oakley came home happy, and we are so thankful for the care Rebecca provided. I would absolutely recommend booking with her!”

My Dalmatian is very attached and her temperament can sometimes be snappy, so I was nervous a couple of days before dropping her off. “Lori is cool, clutch, and kind — a total gem of a sitter! I had such an awesome experience with her caring for my two senior Frenchies, and I can’t recommend her highly enough. One of my pups has actual special needs and the other just thinks he’s — and Lori met both of them with so much patience, warmth, and attentiveness. She was incredibly knowledgeable and went above and beyond during the hot weather to make sure they were safe, cool, comfortable, on schedule, and well exercised.
