About: I grew up with labs and retrievers but now live alone with my 2 cats (who are pretty much used to dogs, but still wary of them). I watch peoples dogs and foster with Saving Grace when I can so have experience with a wide range of dogs. I am an engineer but am taking time off from that job. One favorite thing to do with a dog I watch is taking them to my building’s fenced in private dog walk and playing fetch! I have a large dog crate if that is better for sitting/boarding but only if that is part of their normal routine. Pets are allowed on the furniture (also if normal) and since I have pets already, I have extra water around the apartment. Since I’m used to hosting dogs, I’m good at “cat proofing” the apartment and my unit has a good layout to separate the cats and the visiting pet if needed. I choose how to take out any dog based on their personality: dog walk at my apartment building, walks, local dog park, hikes, etc. I also have plenty of dog toys.

My mom was a dog handler and I’ve been lucky to have learned how to handle various unique training or walking routines. I’m more of a night owl than early riser, but I can accommodate most routines for your pet so long as it’s not earlier than 7AM. Since I frequently travel locally for work, I apologize for not being able to always accommodate bookings with under 2 weeks notice. I currently have 1 Siberian female cat that is dog and cat friendly, and well socialized to children and people. My home has hardwood downstairs and carpet upstairs. I live in a neighborhood with amble green space for walks and fetch for off leash dogs. I do not have a fenced in yard.
About: I have been giving love to animals all over the spectrum, either in my own home or volunteering at shelters. From young puppies and kittens to the precious seniors, I have cared for them all. Grooming, mild training, stimulating exercise and social interaction, administering medication/shots, preparing special meals, following a dieting plan, and showing unconditional love are all part of my skills. I am currently working a few shifts part time as a bartender, so I will be free during the day, having time to spend all morning and afternoon for care. My Dalmatian is very attached and her temperament can sometimes be snappy, so I was nervous a couple of days before dropping her off.
